Michael Moore said to run a very progressive nominee because the working class now is now women people of color and 18 to 35. 35 % of white u men without college is the number to win.

Before he got into the race, I had some high hopes for Biden. I like him, but I've not been at all impressed with his debate performances. Last night was better than the first one I thought, but not nearly good enough. Maybe it's time for Joe to pass the torch. He's coming off as looking tired and old. That's not going to cut it against the JA.
Interestingly (at least to me) my DH is starting to like De Blasio as someone who he thinks could stand up well to Trump based on his onstage demeanor. Problem is, De Blasio would have to really perform some miracles to get his numbers high enough to really get into the fight. But, he's right that he could likely handle Trump onstage, and as Mayor of New York he probably has plenty of dirt of the JA. I don't think that match-up is likely to happen, but found the idea interesting.
Kamala didn't perform as well last night as the first round either. It's tough when they're coming at your from all sides for both her and Biden, but her performance last night was not good enough for what she'll need. Maybe it was just an off night for her.
I really want to see Biden, Harris, Sanders, and Warren all on stage together.

The Republicans are correct. The Dems in the debates last night, trying to rattle Biden, trashed President Obama. What the hell is wrong with us?
It was disgraceful and despicable. I've lost faith in the Democratic Party. First time in my life I'm embarrassed to be a Democrat. Not a good feeling.

Biden has to stop riding on Obama's coat tails and tell people what he intends to do -not what he/Obama already did.

DotRen, yes, I definitely agree that Biden needs to start focusing on what he is going to do and not on what he has done or what Obama did. Although, I do give him some slack because when you're constantly being attacked for the past it's hard to flip and focus on the future. Still, he's got to find a way to do that if he wants to remain relevant IMO. I also agree with our Guest that ALL the candidates need to focus more on what they will do, and stop these attacks using Republican talking points. I understand that they're trying to climb the rock wall to the top and their fingers are barely hanging on to the rocks as they struggle to make the climb. Still playing into the Republican hands is not going to help. We've got to get Trump out of office. While I know it goes against their natures to do so, they all need to put that front and center even if it means that they're not going to be the nominee. I don't see this as putting party first, but rather putting the country first, and if there was ever a time that is desperately needed it is now.

And now we're back in an arms race with Russia. Once more handing Putin a gift, as well as a gift to all those involved in the military weapons manufacturing business. Money, money, money, money . . . .

DT offers to help Putin put out fires in Russia. He (Putin) must be better at forest management to merit this offer than we are here in Cali where we are blamed for our wildfires. Never mind that a huge portion of our forests are federal land.

That isn't a guest. It's me and I have no idea how or why that even got posted. I was writing a reply and making corrections when I must have hit send by mistake. I obviously typed the word but and send for some unknown reason and it was posted. Sorry about that. I was using my cell at the time perhaps that's the problem. Or, I am the problem. Lol.

Pat, I hate posting from my phone. I do it, but I hate it. I always end up with something that is absolutely not what I was trying to say. LOL

I was watching MSNBC this morning for awhile. Don't remember who was talking but the discussion was about Biden and how he's doing. I know it's still very early in the race, and who knows what will happen, but this particular person was saying that if you look back to when Biden announced to now, his numbers are still strong. So no matter what's been thrown at him, and how he's responded he still has a "base" that (at least up until now) support him. I am still not sure who I "like" the best. I'm in the camp of anyone but Trump.

Joyce, I have the same problem posting from my cell. Maybe it's because I feel rushed, or the letters are too small, or the Sun is in my eyes.
It can't possibly be my fault, right?
Lol. 😲
