WHAT can you do today to promote the health of your mind, body, and or spirit?

Pardon me.... I altered the introductory question. Am in need of a holistic approach...
Wednesday's goals Strive for balance. Laugh at the absurd. (Will PM details) Give gratitude. R's surgery approval was denied. Wonderful staff at orthopaedic center fast tracked a peer to peer review for tomorrow afternoon. A person from the clinic will personally call me.
Eat healthy. Start my day w/ a nice bowl of oatmeal topped w/ strawberries. Make lunch a vegetable omelette w/ a side sliced tomatoes. Enjoy a summer meal-- baked chicken, corn on the cob, salad, & watermelon.
Apply my noodle & shift some energy towards another thorny issue for team J & R.

(((Hugs))) June. Kepping you and R in my prayers and praying you get your call back.
Great goals.
Tomorrow I plan on a laid back day. Only item we forgot to get is LuLa's food, and Carl can get that tomorrow. I am tired of being to and fro. Will gladly stay home with my kindle candle lit and soft music playing.
If I don't show up online, you'll know I'm unplugged for the day.

I need to go to Walmart and HEB to stock up for a couple of days.Thursday if I can find the studio in my hometown I may start going to meetings once a month to get my free etools.I think I have paid enough into them although they gave me the last 2 months free.I called today and got my LT number.I am going to bed shortly. My Garmin measures body battery and it is down to 7/100.I think I've done enough for today.
Sleep well all and have a good day.
(((Ann)))You deserve a day off after today.

June, I like the idea of mind, body and spirit. That is why I have enjoyed the Deepak Chopra tapes so much this summer. I am focused on well being if only for 20 minutes. I hope to reduce my on line time tomorrow too. I have several errands to do early and will finish with a trip to Walmart. I want to make gazpacho one more time because we have plenty of tomatoes but I need at least one bell pepper, a small red onion and 2 cucumbers. We are just growing cucumbers for our salads. I will start the thank you notes if I receive the list of recipients and the notes for what to include. We are trying to use direct quotes from the home recipient. I also want to count the Christmas cards I have at home. Last year I ordered photo cards but I really want to use up ones I've bought on sale in past years. My count is 107 on the list. I realize that is way too big but it includes a lot of people DH knows from work as well as people we've known the almost 46 years of our married life. I did not like the way I had to have the card addresses printed and the list was not alphabetical, which drove me crazy. I am OCD about a lot of things. I rescheduled the one appointment I had to next week and Rob and Theo come for dinner at 5:30. The guys will have steak (again) and I will make myself a chicken breast. It may reach 105 today so I need a quiet peaceful afternoon near the fan. Becky, I didn't realize there was a studio in your home town. That would be so convenient. Ann, you did enough shopping yesterday for the rest of the month.

I am in a time crunch. Need to shower and get ready to spend the day away from home and have less than an hour to get everything done.
Today I will laugh, think before I eat and enjoy the day

Good morning
Ann Love that you know when and how to give yourself a quiet, relaxing day at home.π
Becky Go for it! You earned those free ETools.
Audrey Thx. Maybe we will make this our new introduction for now. Thx for the reminder of how beneficial you found the meditation series. Might be beneficial for me, too. Understand the affinity for order. It is more efficient and saves time, if nothing else. Enjoy your last or almost last batch of gazpacho.
Cathy Yikes! Know that you pulled it off! Thx for the drive by.

Good morning, all!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ
Yesterday was a mix. DivaTaxi, Kressling breakfast, various errands, the Mouseketeer's counseling appointment at 3 PM, and Toots' band rehearsal. The predicted bad weather missed us - we got a couple of sprinkles and rumbles, but nothing major.
The Mouseketeer's session started off really well but when we touched on the topic that HE told me he wanted to talk about, he melted down. DrK would like him to see a pediatric neurologist to get some additional insight into what makes Cj tick. Meanwhile, we'll keep going to DrK. MissMouse & I had an in-person (not text or phone) talk about this - DrK's not "giving up" on Cj, just seeking more information. And it's nothing that "she did or did not do" - it's just Cj's personality.
DivaTaxi's run this morning and the Kressling has had his egg sandwich. He'll leave at 7:30 for soccer tryouts (they go through Friday). I have a dentist appointment at 9 AM and DDIL will drop off K'ling2 and the Zigster here with Peepa as she heads out for a 10 AM interview. I have at least one script ready to pick up at CVS and the rest (3 in total) are supposed to be ready by noon.
Must get my breakfast cooking. Meanwhile, coffee's good... βββ...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ

Bee j Oh no.... sorry that you are lost in the shuffle w/ ATT. Not easy when you hit a snag and get no resolution to your problem.
Mj Sending you lots of prayers & love. Sometimes we are put into those hard situation b/c it is best even though it is hard. Glad that you could hear the DrK's news first, and then explain it to your DD. Will keep praying for your DGS and those who love & worry about him. Another Diva day ahead-- is your spreadsheet in hand?

June - At the moment it seems unending for you two. Lots of extra prayers that this down cycle ends soon. Ann - Have a great unplugged day. Becky - I like my free etools, plus going keeps me accountable. That last time I thought I could do without meetings, I stayed at goal for 2+ years but then portion distortion crept in and back I went. Audrey - That's a lot of cards. Lack of alphabetizing would drive me crazy too! Cathy - Enjoy your Wednesday gathering! Bee - I fortunately have no problems with Verizon. I did fire Sprint years ago. How was your free Tuesday? Add'l prayers for CJ. Hopefully they can get more information to really help him. I'm in. Carol leaves this morning for a few days away and I'll be juggling my meeting, work and Daria's arrival on Friday around animal care. I moved my mani from tomorrow at 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday after the gym. So that means only tonight will be a bit crazy.

I can try not to want to kill AT&T, as I am WILLING and AWARE. Bee, you have me laughing. I got a new phone and an unlimited data plan in June but AT&T on line had my old phone and data plan. With lousy wi fi at the beach house, I was getting these messages that my data was almost used up and a $10 charge will be added. Monday afternoon I had an almost one hour life chat with Yennifer (that's how it is spelled) from AT&T and she got it all corrected and figured out. I hope that works for you too. I do not know anyone who is thrilled with their phone or internet service.

diva49 (((Mouseketeer))) I mentioned a few days ago that they are who they are and eventually a plan will be figured out for him. Never ever give up and I am glad DrK is not giving up. I can share great stories about boys who had a harder start in life, one being one of my son's very best friends. He was gifted but struggled and compared to his older sister who always said and did all the right things, he stood out. He was also big and never fit in the desks etc. I am so thrilled that at age 38 he is in his first year of vet school at UC Davis after going through so many struggles to get his degree, different career paths etc. He is also about 6'4" or 6'5" and wants to work with big animals like elephants or giraffes at a zoo. Our son had difficulty in the rigid elementary school near our home and the best thing I did was to transfer him to a more loving environment at a different school. Also he was slightly dyslexic which showed up when he could not copy words correctly from the board so he could never pass the test to get into gifted programs like his sisters. He ended up being a national merit scholar.
