I’m going to try the pumpkin spice bagels. Just happened to pick up the oatmeal cups yesterday. Have never made the two ingredient bagels, so this should be interesting.

borntexan, I hope you will complete the survey. Maybe Oprah or Mindy will call you to "discuss"!

I was surprised to receive this email. I haven't been a member since 2010 and haven't received any emails for many years. They must really be reaching out to former members.

linda72 I did fill out the survey. It surprised me that one of the options to tell them why I cancelled was "I didn't like freestyle.LOL on Oprah and Mindy calling.I don't answer any calls from phone numbers I don't recognize so there goes that phone call.I have never gotten a followup email before when I cancelled before.I guess they were wondering why their cash cow was leaving.

borntexan, you are the type of person they would want back. They will entice you with the new questionnaire to find the perfect individualized program just for you. And, oh yeah, to the monthly money you gave them!

linda72 If they come out with a reasonable plan I would pay my missed meeting fee and maybe go to a studio for long enough to get the new info or stay a month once I get free e-tools but beyond that I don't know if they could entice me back.

I must be off the email list again. I have been getting emails from Team WW for a few months now. But then I did not go to a meeting two weeks ago and received an email from Team WW that they missed me. I went to the next week's meeting, even got my 50 Wins, but still got an email from Team WW saying they missed me. That was the last email I received.
Thanks, Zazzles for posting the pumpkin spice recipes.

I attended WW meetings for almost 8 years and made 90% of the meetings. I knew most of the people in my meeting including the receptionists and leaders at my studio. I tired of the program this spring (it wasn't working for me and I started gaining) and when my weight went up so that I was over the 2# limit, I stopped going to the meetings. I'm still tracking in the app and have free etools until 2024 or 2025. While I get the occasional email from WW with the newsletter from Mindy and recipes, etc. I have not received any email about my absence from the meetings. I'm actually a little surprised I didn't get an email asking why I stopped coming to meetings. I would think that being a regular member for so long, that someone would write to see how I was doing. For all they know, I moved away, got sick or even died. Even my leader, whom I've known for 4 years, hasn't written or called.
Does that seem strange? Maybe I'm expecting too much from this organization. But, if I'm being honest, it has hurt my feelings

Even my leader, whom I've known for 4 years, hasn't written or called. Does that seem strange? Maybe I'm expecting too much from this organization. But, if I'm being honest, it has hurt my feelings Funny that it wasn’t that many years back where leaders sent out postcards when a member missed a meeting or two. That stopped abruptly. It may have been a combination of pinching pennies for postage and having to walk the fine line of what they require staff to do; they like staff to wrap everything up in two or two and a half hours; if what they ask them to do takes more time than that, legally they are on the hook to pay. They used to just ignore that until the U.S. Dept of Labor came a knocking and told them they were violating labor laws; then they had to pay for whatever time it took staff to do what was asked of them. And you made me remember my last sabbatical which started out as a missed week, went to two,…four…etc. until it was six months. They had stopped sending the postcards just before that (which was 2008 now that I think about it). Had I received a card I probably would have gone back, but since I didn’t I felt that I didn’t matter, wasn’t missed, WW didn’t care about me, and just stayed away. Of all the stuff that Mindy is trying, you’d think contacting members who stop going to meetings would be the most obvious. Duh!

linda72 I don't think you are expecting too much at all. I don't blame you for feeling the way you do.(((hugs)))

zazzles , borntexan , thanks. I realize that WW is just a business. My old leader used to email or call people when they missed meetings. She left in 2014 and I don't think the leaders we have now get invested in the members that come to meetings. It's more impersonal and that mindset starts at the top. Thanks, Mindy!
