The walls seem to be closing in on the JA. Still he's pretty slimy and I'm afraid to actually breath easily because he's always capable of slithering through some small crack. Surely eventually even some Republicans will have to say enough is enough. At least I hope so. But, I also hear speculation that once he no longer sees a way out that he will resign rather than be impeached, much like Nixon. What do you think? And, if he is either removed from office or resigns do you think the GOP will stick with Pence as their nominee or is there some small speck of hope that they might actually come up with a more decent candidate to run?

I do not see one small speck of hope in what is called the Republican Party today. I see a bunch of liars and cheats who couldn't care less about America but care only about power and control. I also see ignorant voters under their spell.

Every day I wake up wondering "will this be the day?". Will this be the day Trump self destructs and they carry him out in a straight jacket? Will this be the day Trump decides he's had enough and he quits (then flees the country). Will this be the day the GOP comes to its senses and stops Trump?

luanne, I so hope that day is coming and coming soon. The GOP just seems totally brain washed and will say and do absolutely anything he wants from them. If we weren't all living through this nightmare it would be easy to think we were watching some movie about mind control. What scares me the most is that those GOP representatives are acting out what they think their constituents want from them--to stay on the JA's good side no matter what. How is it possible to have so many deluded people throughout the country? I suppose that as the Nazis took over Germany there were a lot of people asking that same question.

I consider them a dangerous and deadly cult of trump followers/worshipers. I know some Republicans and none of them, except one crack pot, is as weak, stupid, or blind to follow an insane leader. I'm not sure what these people are but they're not true Republicans. Real Republicans are as shocked, outraged, disgusted, and concerned about their Party being hijacked by a deranged, delusional, and dangerous mad man. Even though I see and hear his supporters rave on about how wonderful he is I still keep wondering what the hell do they see and hear that I don't? Are we on two different planets? WTH? No, really. The only way he will leave the White House after an election that he does not win, is in a straight jacket with nets over him. Sadly I am not joking. He has completely lost touch with reality as have his followers. Did crack me up to day by cancelling the NYT and the POST. He can't read the big words and long sentences anyway. |
