Use the information about Core/SFT that I have on the dining room table and stay OP today
SUSI: I hope you have a marvelous time with your GF this weekend and the dinner and indulgence are worth every calorie and penny. I hope you come up with the perfect vacation, too. I am sure your home feels different without Charlie.
ANN: I would love to see the variety of apples you have to choose from. I bet the gingerbread and hummus with veggies was a hit!
LADONNA: How fun to have the UMM raising money for Christmas gifts for families in need. It sounds like retain therapy provided you with a hodge podge of items from here and there.
BECKY: We had two cats that used to have the run of the basement. We left windows open for them and that meant lizards, birds, tarantulas and a few snakes also ending up in the basement. When they both died hubby said no more and we closed the windows after cleaning and it is animal free. The Calico cat we have is named Bella and stays outside. Her mother was with us a couple of years before disappearing and so far Bella has been with us a couple of years. I would LOVE to have her inside but hubby is not willing.
Everyone else...hope you are enjoying the weekend!
Time for me to get up and walk for at least five minutes before tackling more online tasks.

Just to chime in on LaDonna and Becky's pumpkin flavored conversation from yesterday, I love pumpkin, want nothing with the spices. I love all those spices, just together they taste bad to me. I also do not like pumpkin sweetened, I like it savory.

Hi from New York. Laura is still asleep. We should have decided on a wake up time last night. Yesterday we walked around the midtown area near our hotel. Today we are going to a play matinee, Dear Evan Hansen, and she wants to go to museums since many are closed tomorrow.

Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
Today the Kressling is 14 years old.
πππππππππ
It's gray and cool here this morning, 61* and never supposed to touch 70*.
Yesterday was an odd day. I did get out to my WW workshop and had my monthly weigh-in - and I've got my e-tools voucher for another month. I'm slightly under goal weight, and well under the GottaPAY weight (2# over goal). I'm looking WAY ahead, however, and note that the DECEMBER weigh-in will be the Saturday after we get back from Woodloch <ahem>.
The rest of the day? Not Much. Truly. Some CinderElla/Fella tasks, some reading, the NASCAR Xfinity race at 3 PM, and then British mysteries until bedtime. And of course, my knitting. We sat together in sunbeams in our playroom and enjoyed <whispering> being retired.
We had plans for today that we canceled in order to do something for the Kressling but his mom texted last night (after she got her work schedule) that she will be taking him instead. We can't re-do our original plans so today's a bit up in the air. That's OK, though - we'll move on to Plan B. Sunday Steak Dinner can fit back into our plans (it had been 86'd), and there's a NASCAR Monster Energy (Dover) playoff race at 2:30 PM.
Time to sip some coffee... βββ... and remember a tiny baby in his daddy's (Son#1's) arms...
πππππππππ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππ

Have been seriously misssssssingyou all, but my days have been completely full. I rarely have a moment that is my own. Am stealing a few minutes to "talk" to you.
Ann Enjoy each and every quiet and peaceful moment this fall Sunday. Hope that you are steadily improving after your surgery. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. Sending continued prayers for your neighbors & Donna.
Audrey Enjoy the Big Apple. Glad that you made it safely to the states.
Bee Love your opening to the thread. Made me smile. How is your eye healing? Am keeping you in my thoughts & sending healing prayers.
Becky Is TX cooling down yet? How are your knees? Loving your focus on doing what you know works.
Cathy I love hearing about everyone's life. It's like traveling-- from my armchair. Ha ha ha. . . I wonder why DH nixed the idea of another house cat? Mj Glad that even w/ the schedule change you & Toots can enjoy a steak dinner & fast cars on the TV screen.
LaDonna Sounds like that BBQ food was worth each and every calorie. Honestly, I have seen a good weekly loss when I had a day with a much higher calorie count. Ahhhhh... better you will have fun w/ Jayleigh.
Pam Hope that all is well w/ you & your dear mom. I finally had a chance to have a short visit w/ mine.
Susi Sending you a warm, warm hug. Charlie had a wonderful life w/ you. He will be missed, that is for sure. He was a good pup.

R's appointment Overall, pretty encouraging Last week he steadily regained strength, so I was less worried about the long roundtrip. He did well. My sister, K, offered to drive and I gratefully accepted. One less stressor.... yes, thank you, thank you, thank you. Staples came out w/ very little discomfort. Said only a few pinched a little. Had not realized how many there were. Was over quickly. I left the room. Caring for the incision gave me the willies and was all that I could do. I had no desire to see them come out. No infection. No staples twisted. Good dry, scab. I just have to wash it, keep it clean and dry. Physician ssistance was pleased w/ hiow he was walking & holding his head. Weakness I left arm happens some times do to nerve disruption. Have to set up PT. But it's better this weekend than it was last weekend. Came home w/ bone growth stimulator for him to wear 4 hours daily Follow up w/ physician in 3 1/2 months.
Am sure that his overall strength has been a plus in his recovery.
Thank you for the prayers. Am tap dancing as best as I can. Am grateful for each step forward in his recovery. Better scoot. Lots to do before the day ends. Six sets of student progress reports, R's wash up, kitchen prep for beginning of week, bill paying, and a letter explaining why R can not serve on jury duty.
Love to all!
