Affirmation: Today is a brand new day! Mind:Thought filled Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: A pleasant life
Nothing new to share for me either. I did get a book about Green Withcraft that I would like to read. I was listening to a Minister on the radio. He sounded like a perfect Science of Mind proponent. Such fun to see how the "new age" thought has permeated our world.
Cathy: I would love to have a cat or two but can't because it is too dangerous for them here. It can be a challenge just to make sure that puppies and even the large dogs at times are safe. However, living in the city with the traffic would be much more dangerous. Lately I have been thinking about how free I really am away from the city. I never worry about my personal safety when I am home alone and I never ever have to put a leash on a dog for it to get exercise. So many really wonderful things become ordinary after many years of living away from the city.

Affirmation: Wonders abound all around ... also ... I am worthy
Mind: Wicked...in more ways than one ... also... Witty Body: Willing - sometimes Wanton
Spirit: Wise/Watchful
Gratitude: I am grateful for whispers that waft into my mind...from wherever they come.
The sun is back out today and the birds sound to be delighted with the day AND every day it sounds like there may be more of them!
I am not sure that i have done much looking into Science of the Mind as just t hat but think, after a bit of googling, that I may follow some of the ideas. May spend some more time googling in a bit. I found a Bahai pdf study page with the 10 core concepts listed that was...interesting. I do find it intriguing to see how various individuals/people have put the world around them into context that makes sense to themself and then perhaps to others.
I love living at the end of the road without anyone able to look into my windows. It is a blessing and beautiful and makes me happy. I can see why you would love it, too. The cats outside are probably not safe anywhere...here it is jackals and birds of prey and snakes and such that "get" them but also disease. I am glad you have your three furry canine friends and that they are big and strong enough to fend off most predators...or run and get away.

Affirmation: Change is about to happen! Mind: Peaceful Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: Sun bathing
I was able to sit out on the deck today in my tank top and shorts which I really enjoy and spent the morning doing my Home Blessing.
Cathy: Such a lovely day here again. The snow is almost melted and it will be pleasant here for the next few days. I am making sure I am sitting outside everyday in the sun--it make such a difference. Also I store up those times for the cloudy days. I am into banking sunshine!

Affirmation: eXemplary behavior leads to eXcellent outcomes
Mind: eXcited by new ideas
Body: eXhuasted by eXercise in eXcess
Spirit: eXamines new ideas, thoughts and beliefs - sometimes perpleXed by them
Gratitude: eXpectations met
The sun is out and I slept with the windows open last night. I like perfect nights that allow for heavy blankets and a nip in the air. The lockdown is going to be continued for another month BUT will open up gradually during that month. I guess we will need to get permission to drive and be able to be out for two hours...they will send it via phone and if stopped we show the okay. If out beyond the two hours there is a fine. Means really getting our ducks in order before heading out!
MICHELLE: Banking sunshine...like that idea! I tend to avoid sun and the outdoors but am not sure why...when bugs are out it is too buggy, when too sunny I might burn, if cold or hot...well...you get the picture

Another relaxing pleasant day. I spent the morning finishing up the yearly bookkeeping for the business and getting all my forms ready for next year. Then it was another lovely winter day so I spent time out on the deck--more banking sunshine. Also started a new book.

Spirit: Yokeless: untethered and able to seek new ideas Yearns for new ideas Gratitude: Yellow...bright and cheery color + Yacking with friends and family
One more day of the alphabet prompts...fun to stretch my brain from time to time Today is sunny and cool. We talked to our daughter last night and will talk to our son and granddaughters this evening. I have two book reviews to write for books finished and more books to read. It will be a good day!
MICHELLE: I have three books that just arrived to download for future reviewing post reading. I need to see what is up next. I also have to decide what to make for lunch and as there are zucchini calling need to put my thinking cap on to use them up...soup, frittata, in tomato sauce, stuffed...will come up with something. Glad you are relaxing and enjoying the sunshine!

Affirmation: Willingness is the key that will unlock any door. Mind: Quiet Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: A huge yard.
I spent the morning doing office work t get ready for our upcoming audit season. So glad I got that out of the way. Then I took the rest of the day off, set in the sun, read my book. Life is good!
Cathy: These Y's are so creative! I hadn't thought of the work yacking in decades. Also a song popped into my head from over 60 years ago while Buttercup and I were playing with her monkey that makes monkey noises----I went to the Animal Fair, the birds and the bees were there. The big baboon by light of the moon was combing his auburn hair. The monkey he got drunk, fall on the elephant's trunk. The elephant sneezed and fell on his knees and what became of the monk, the monk, the monk.

Affirmation: Zest for life brings joy to my life
Mind: Zany
Body: Zaatar loving + Zest of lemon and orange to brighten food makes it a bit more intriguing to my taste buds (thought about zaftig but am not sure it applies?)
Spirit: fiZZing when not ZigZagging
Gratitude: The pizzazz that appears suddenly or that I can add knowingly to my day.
Not sure what today holds in store for us but it will be a good day. I am trying to decide what meals to prepare, whether to walk and read or do some sweeping for exercise (could do both?) and what book is up next to read/review. I need to post my blog tour post that I didn't download the book for and...really not much is happening...ah well...better not much than too much!
MICHELLE: How fun to remember that song...and to share it with me. I probably will hear it for awhile now throughout the day. I have hit the end of the alphabet so will have to come up with something else as my anchor to think about when posting.

Affirmation: I am a radiant being filled with light and love. Mind: Active Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude:Enthusiasm!
Errand day for me today. I have been able to narrow my shopping experience down to a maximum of two stores at trip and I think that helps.
Cathy: The dogs had a blast this morning running through the house, chasing each other, on and on. They had so much fun!

Affirmation: Life is good Mind: Tired but happy Body: Busy Spirit: Content Gratitude: abundance of produce to make meals from...and sunny skies
We received a LOT of produce and need to cook some to make room in the fridge. I think we will be storing the chard in the fridge but will need to cook the curly endive...or SOMETHING. We need to refrigerators, I think.
MICHELLE: We are having everything delivered now and my husband also had someone pay our phone and electricity bills SO we won't have to go out again unless we need to go to the bank to deposit the check...eventually. I love the idea of the dogs being happy and running but...through the house? Hope it is pet-safe

Affirmation: I am in tune with Universal Mind. Mind: Determined Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: Another day on this wonderful planet.
I wonder how I would react if I saw a ship from outer space, or Bigfoot, or an Angel. On a more mundane level today I cleaned house for a while, did all the dog and bird chores, then put my book lists into an Excel spreadsheet. Also finished a paranormal book. I never have read that type of book before but enjoyed it.
Cathy: My house is carpeted and the Kitchen floor is covered with nonslip rubber backed rugs. There is lots of room since I got rid of coffee tables etc to create a feeling of more space which I love. The dogs have chased each other through the house for decades. They run in one doggie door and out another and just have a blast doing it. Clair is an expert at running straight at the couch and then ricocheting off of it over and over. She just loves that!
Congrats! on figuring out how to get things delivered to your home. I think we all have come up with ideas that we implimented to make our lives more safe. I quite shopping at all large stores where there are super deals are since they are filled with high risk people. This made my life much more pleasant. Also I have the bird food sent to DH's office and he brings it home. This is another safety improvement. I try to shop online and have as much delivered to his office as possible. It's just so difficult.....

Affirmation: Believe -> See Mind: Open Body: Slimmer every day Spirit: Bright Gratitude: fresh breezes, windows open, birdsong, an owl hooting in the distance, life is good
I trimmed some basil...maybe Thai as it grows in bush form and some rosemary. I tried on some tops and...they are big. Not sure what I will do with BIG tops...sleep in them or donate or??? We will see. Might run it by my daughter or perhaps keep some for awhile? We have so much produce! I made roasted cauliflower and broccoli last night and am either going to make some of the chard into soup or with lentils and potatoes OR maybe I should make some stuffed green peppers. Hmm...
MICHELLE: It sounds like you have "dog-proofed" your home and that must be liberating for you and your canine companions! How wonderful for the entire family! Wise of you to have all deliveries made to your husband's office to cut down on interaction with potential covid-19 carriers! I have not heard from the bank...drumming fingers and waiting. If I don't hear by tomorrow I will call and then we need to figure out how we will get the check in or sent or something one way or another. As for aliens and such...some of the movies - one with a Bridges Brother? where he took on the DNA/form of the widow and got her pregnant had me crying at the end because of course...they could not stay together forever. I have read a LOT of paranormal stories and some are favorites. I think Patricial Briggs werewolf stories are great and even her other series is fun. There are others I have read and enjoyed but her name came to mind first.

Affirmation: Merrily, Merrily, Merrily. Life is but a dream. Mind: Disciplined Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: Such a lovely winter day! I spent most of the day doing office work, getting organized for the upcoming audit season. Also spent time outside since it was such a truly lovely winter day. I love it when it is raining lemons and then all of a sudden they turn into lemonade. Last summer was just awful because of the months of wildfire smoke but the lemonade is that I now appreciate so many winter days that in the past would have gone unnoticed. I really am trying to make the most of them since the reality is that we will probably have the same situation as we had last summer. Cathy: I will have to check out that author since now, after having read one, I really enjoyed it. The banking service has declined noticeably in our area which has definitely frustrated my husband since he does the banking. It seems that blaming such things on Covid is a common occurrence.

Affirmation: I am joyfully celebrating my 69th birthday today
Mind: Content Body: More bendy in the middle Spirit: Peaceful Gratitude: Continued health, loving husband and family, wonderful friends, flowers, good food, and a glass of wine tonight to celebrate another year and getting through the pandemic safely so far.
I went to bed a bit earlier (not 3am) last night and slept well. Today will be a good day whatever we end up doing. We received a grocery order and though there was a bit of a screw up on the red beans being dry instead of canned...it is still a good day.
MICHELLE: I don't know what kind of banking your husband does BUT my son said he can take a photograph of a check for deposit and send it by internet and they deposit it without having to go in. My guess is that your husband prefers "in person" dealings as does my husband BUT in a pandemic...the less interaction possible is the best option. Glad you enjoyed the sunshine! Do you see a change in the land after a burn? Is it healthier afterward when things begin to grow in again?

Affirmation: I am calm, cool and collected. Mind: Unencumbered Body: Walking, Yoga, OP Spiritual growth path: Letting it all go........... Gratitude: Spring flowers
Cathy: Happy Birthday!!!I hope you had a pleasant day. I am the one that refuses to do online banking of any kind. One time a banker was helping me with a problem and told me that if our account was hacked that we would definitely get all the money back but it would probably take four or five months. My husband has had clients over the years that have run into this problem so I'd rather be safe than sorry.
The burn scars are a real problem. The cheat grass grows back in and makes the situation worse for wildfire. Once it dries up in the summer it is highly flammable. Not too long ago the Bureau of Land Management was planting via helicopter to try to help the situation. However some very lovely wildflowers grew up on the hillside in a burn scar area. I went to look at them and picked one, roots and all. I brought it home, stuck it in a bottle with water and it lived for a very long time!
