Affirmation: Tired days after late nights require rest the next day Fitness: Hmm... Health: Moderation...definitely working on this in 2020 Spiritual: Open eyes help me see more Gratitude: Daughter here...
See that I posted an email at 2am...should have been in bed instead. Watched three episodes of Jeeves & Wooster with my daughter last night. Waiting to see what will happen today.
MICHELLE: Glad your dogs are friends and that you are the alpha in the pack. Hope Clair is fine (vet visit) and happy to hear that there are checks and balances in the canine world.

Affirmation: Never ever give up! Spiritual: Resiliency Self Care - 9,378 Steps Gratitude: A sunny day and warmer temps Cathy, I have never seen that show. It looks like a comedy so I am sure I would like it. Another day spent doing items I would rather skip. I am sure this is character building LOL. I didn't get to the touch up painting but it will happen soon. Instead I decided just to plow through whatever is in front of me. When I do this I invariably run into the procrastinatables that are in my life. However it is wonderful to have the items done. More to do.....

Affirmation: It will be a wonderful day Fitness: More cleaning? Health: Harder with daughter here...eating more and differently than when she is not here Spiritual: If cleanliness is next to god/dess-liness then I was VERY close yesterday while thoroughly cleaning my laundry room Gratitude: Clean laundry room
Yesterday there was water everywhere in the laundry room so the cleaning began, the washer and dryer were moved out and cleaned under, things were gone through, bags of trash were filled, laundry rags were washed and everything sorted and reorganized. It is CLEAN in there and has the potential to remain so. Might tackle another area for cleaning later today.
MICHELLE: Jeeves and Wooster is evidently based on a British author's books (Wodehouse?) and Frye and Laurie were in four seasons in the early 90's after doing comedy together in other sketches/programs. It is definitely humor and very British but also a great deal of fun and free to watch on YouTube. I completely understand doing things that I have put off...the laundry room is one such thing. The outdoor sink and sitting area is up next on the to-do list and it will be...another long day of cleaning whatever day we decide to tackle it.

Affirmation: It's OK to be tired. Spiritual: What's it all about Alfie? Is it just for the moment we live?--I like those lyrics
Self Care: 9,620 Steps, took the dog in the car with me shopping so we could meet and greet some strangers Gratitude: People
Cathy, Congrats! on the cleaning, organizing and decluttering of your laundry room. I'm familiar with Wodehouse and also like Oscar Wilde. I will check the program out on YouTube--just bookmarked it. I bet it will be fun to watch on my new laptop when I get to that project. I am on a cleaning, organizing, decluttering, anti-procrastination jag and will make a serious dent in all of that over the next two weeks. "All of that" includes doing the bookkeeping for the year for our business and some other projects.
I had a fun time with DD today.

Affirmation: I am strong enough to do what needs to be done Fitness: cleaning uses muscles I didn't know I had and keeps me fit Health: moderation in all things Spiritual: Peace Gratitude: DD here to help with big cleaning projects
Yesterday we tackled the outdoor sink area and found all manner of suspicious items...ick to the tenth degree (or whatever exhibits gross findings). It is clean and the plan is to NOT put anything into cupboards out there that could become icky, get a covered trash can to put under the sink behind closed doors to keep varmints out and see what else needs to be done.
MICHELLE: Good luck with the decluttering and such.

Affirmation: I move steadily to the completion of all projects. Spiritual: Abundant Self Care: 9,236 Steps, functional fitness washing windows inside and out, also cleaning the deck, then I rested Gratitude: My washer and dryer
Cathy, Congrats on the beautification of the outdoor sink area. Country living sometimes is shockingly icky due to the varmits and failure to stay on top of the situation--I could tell stories..... LOL

Traffic was bad on the roads. Not sure if everyone was in the village for the holidays or out buying last minute items or out sightseeing...it was a MESS.

Affirmation: I enjoy resting and relaxing! Spiritual: The optimism of Universe Self Care: 8,021 Steps, Yoga, One extra tall glass of water Gratitude: Childhood stories
Cathy, Traffic complexity is much more pleasant for me when I have another happy person in the car with me or a dog. I am sure you enjoyed going out with your daughter. I loved shopping with my DM, such fun! DH and I put up shelving in two rooms of the house today so that I can continue with my projects. The shelves were on the project list today so I am glad we got them done.
Onward to play with the dogs>>>>>

Affirmation: It will be a good day
Fitness: Workouts cleaning are painful but productive (2+ hours outside working yesterday) bagged bottles, took them to recycle locations, etc
Health: Still thinking about it though not on any program while daughter is here
Spiritual: Frogs...found three while doing a big clean-out of remaining glass bottles intended for a bottle house project that has been abandoned. Found three hiding in the habitat created and picked two up to move them. Thought about how wonderful nature is and how frogs can live decades and do so on our property.
Gratitude: Daughter here to help with projects...and to spend quiet evenings with...and to just BE with
MICHELLE: I used to enjoy going out and about with my mother. My daughter gets car sick and hates pollution and traffic but it makes it nicer for me to have her along for the ride. Hooray for whittling down the to-do projects list we both seem to have! Childhood stories are the BEST! We might go to Tripoli today...my husband has been leery of going outside the area but he seems to be loosening up a bit? I know my daughter wants sweets from a shop there and do hope we can get some before she leaves.

Affirmation: Patience is being at peace with the process of life. Spiritual: Let it be. Self Care: 12,367 Steps, Yoga, Another tall glass of water Gratitude: My dogs, they are so funny sometimes. Cathy, Love! your spiritual. We have frogs and significant ground water in the spring across the valley so many come to life. Those frogs serenade us each year for a while. Their beautiful singing is incredibly loud. This is Day 12 of my 14 day countdown for my my Projects. Eleven more days to go. Among other items I managed to spend three minutes going down into the basement to get the paint to touch up here and there in the Kitchen. Sometimes I am the worst drama queen about such simple tasks. These are the types of things I am getting done during my countdown period. Also I am coming up with 2020 goals in my five areas. Mostly I am just compiling ideas from the internet right now so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Affirmation: I will get as much joy as possible out of the remaining days my daughter will be here Fitness: working on tasks around the house Health: planning a healthy routine for 2020 Spiritual: listening to the wind Gratitude: Thankful to have shelter from the wind
Yesterday took the computer in for a checkup to find out why it was not loading. Seems one hard drive is corrupted and preventing it from starting. Having pieces changed and something or other done (daughter talked to the shop) and will be able to sit in the basement at the desktop computer again soon and save the little laptop/tablet for reading in the evening. Will pick it up today, go to the sweet shop and buy some things from the grocery and produce shops.
MICHELLE: I applaud you for all that you are accomplishing in your month of decluttering. I may make a to-do list for 2020 and start in on it. As for frogs...learned they live a LONG time sometimes. I wonder how long some of them have been on our land.

Affirmation: My 2020 plan easily comes together. Spiritual: Depth of experience Self Care: 8,694 Steps, Yoga, another glass of water Gratitude: A day without wind
Pleasant day for me. I am moving ahead on my 2020 plan. Found items on the internet that will be of help so that it can take shape. The shape seems different than I planned so we will see what evolves. My idea is to have it done before January first so I need to stop acquiring data and tools and get it figured out. I haven't set goals in years since it is something I do with ease when it involves work etc but to set them for spiritual reasons is different for me. At least my five areas are starting to seem cohesive with a common thread running through them.
Cathy, I hope the lasagna turned out. Was it vegetarian? The Christmas trees are cute!
