borntexan, Thanks for the post. Once the new programs come out I plan to do the Smart Points one and will be tracking with the WW app again in addition to the calories. I'm working on the mental side of things which I think it the problem. I went into portion creep and it just didn't register that I needed to cut back consistently. I'm not ready to jump feet first into dieting again so I'm making some small cut backs this week and see how I do. I need to face that I'm going to have more hunger for a while as I adjust my food. I was a bit below goal and when I started to gain I just didn't draw a line in the sand. Now I'm facing being back up to goal and that has to be my line in the sand. I maintained around goal for a number of years before I lost a little weight and was a number of pounds below goal, but I don't know If I can conjure up the attitude I use to have. Having depression doesn't help. Glad the review is coming up because that will help, always has in the past. Am glad I've developed a support network. It is so important to me now.

Judy I hear you on the support network. I no longer go to weekly meetings. Those used to work when there was a group of us that sat together and kept in touch. Once by one the little group stopped going.......I was the last one to finally bite the bullet. I now go to a very small church meeting place but just once a month to keep my lifetime status current and collect my etool voucher. I tried to 'reach out' to those few members, but the 'click' just wasn't there. I so appreciate being able to come here daily to record my weight. I do it in my journal...but there is just something more accountable to put it out here as well. I am most grateful for you and all those posting here

Monday: 201.8 Tuesday: 200.6 Wednesday: 200.6
Will make dinner smaller tonight...or liquid...eat more for lunch. When I have a lighter dinner I retain less weight for the morning weigh-in

I KNOW, Judy! I figure my body doesn't want to leave the 200's as it is comfy here but I think it is time to move on down to a lower setpoint weight and eventually reach goal again! I really want to EAT right now but am drinking water and reading instead. Have had my calories for today so...will tough it out and hope tomorrow or one day soon is the day to reach onederland.

Monday: 201.8 Tuesday: 200.6 Wednesday: 200.6 Thursday: 200 (argh!) Friday?
This is like cutting the dog's tail off an inch at a time. I so wanted to eat something after dinner last night but sucked down water instead. Today I will walk (didn't yesterday) and stay within calories. Onederland WILL happen.

cathygeha, stubborn body! It will happen. ann1953, Thanks. I was hesitant to post a picture since it's a public forum, but I figured the sunglasses made it sufficiently anonymous. Thursday, October 24: 123.6 - down 0.8 lb.
