To stay healthy, lose or maintain?
I can do as I know to do. KOKO, hydrate and move!

Have to tell you in advance I haven't read all the posts --- in fact, very few.
We had 80% chance of rain today --- and I doubt we got a teaspoon full. It was more a fine mist ever so often. We did get wind and falling temps.
Yes, the joints are good weather predictors. LOL
Went to Bible Study this morning. The house was decorated to the max --- lots of flashing stuffs. Eye got extremely tired. Next week I will cover it for the time I will be there. Haven't had to cover it since I changed the drops. Also, with the light drop the light doesn't affect it as bad.
The new drops are doing good. I am now 5 or 6 days with no headache in the eye. Amazing what a thinner eye drop can do. I go to the doc Monday, and he may give me a new one. This one I just decided to use on my own.
Know that I miss y'all. Hopefully will be back full time soon.
Oldest DD coming in tomorrow to spend 2 days.
Still praying for us ALL!

Bee, Iβm glad the new eye drops are helping. Enjoy your time with your DD. I am going to my clubβs Christmas luncheon today. My weight was down yesterday so I donβt intend to over eat at the luncheon.I baked cookies yesterday and everything is in the freezer and thatβs all I plan to do unless something comes up where I need to bake more. I will try to move be mindful and hydrate throughout the day. Notice I still donβt say track but the scale has gone down. Dinner will be a turkey burger, butternut squash and a salad with water to drink.

Enjoying having my daughter here. Not sure if roads will be blocked or open today. If open we might go to Nabu museum and have lunch out. If not...we will see.
I skimmed the messages but won't take time to do personals - probably not till my daughter leaves. Have a good day!

Gooood morning
Bee Thx for starting our thread. So very happy that switching drops drastically reduced the eye strain, and thus headaches. Myself, I do not care for the "busy" visuals for Christmas displays, TV screens, and so on. But then I have poor eyesight.
Audrey Hip hip hooray! Terrific to see the scale is down. Good for you-- whatever you are doing, it is working for you at this time!
Cathy Hope that you have a lovely visit with your daughter.
Ann Hope that you slept well.

Wednesday's goal Appreciate this day. Give gratitude. Happy, happy, happy that the temporary rigging of discharge of the basement window & makeshift extension of downspouts kept the basement dry.
Continue taking baby steps towards a greater sense of normalcy. There is something to be said for having a few more hours in the day for "doing". Grateful that I am beginning to see the completion or resolution of several "big" things.
Have an 8 am exam. Taking R to hearing aid distributor for Miracle Ear. He is eligible & we have met every deductible, thus a new pair is covered at 100%. Maybe better yet-- this is one of the involved task that kept going sidewises--and should not have-- will be almost completed. (Yes, it should have been easy peasy...but it wasn't. That said, the outcome is worth it).
Waving to everyone, especially those who follow & wishing all who follow a healthy, happy day.

Good morning, Bee - Audrey - Ann - Cathy - June - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
βββββββββ
And yet again - it's a wintry mix of rain and snow out there. The pavement is wet but not slippery; now to see what the day's temps do for the drying-out process.
I'm making a list and checking it twice... there are a couple of errands that could be handled today (that would make the rest of the week easier) and a few things for tonight's YM drill/holiday party (including coming up with a uniform for a returning member who handed in his uniform weeks ago and I repurposed it to someone who had outgrown his).
Tonight I will go to YM and Toots will go to the Kressling's Winter Band Concert at the high school.
I'm putting fresh batteries in the DivaWand... and sipping coffee... βββ...
βββββββββ Have a healthy-eating day, all! βββββββββ

Glad the new eyedrops are helping Bee. Hope you get a good report from the doctor. Enjoy the time with your daughter. Congrats on the loss and enjoy the luncheon. I don't even back any more. Ann - Glad you slept well. Glad you are enjoying the time with your daughter Cathy. Hope you can get out today. Happy to see that things are starting to turn the corner for you and R, June. Hope it keeps going that way. At least it's not a crazy spreadsheet day today MJ I'm in. Midnight stayed in the dining room on a chair when she wasn't playing with some toys. Missy wants nothing to do with her and Jack is very puzzled and not sure what to do.

Susi, sounds like Midnight is being very cautious. In time I'm sure they will all accept one another. It's quite cold here. We did get a little snow/sleet and hopefully that's all we'll get. I'm all planned and tracked for the day. Time for more coffee Keep warm and safe, all!

June, so wonderful to hear that things are starting to fall into place for you..hopefully that will continue. You sure do need a break...Happy HUGS! Glad it's not a crazy day LaDonna. They are all older animals and she has only been with us 2 weeks. It will take time.

Cathy, I hope you can make the trip to the museum with your daughter. June, hooray for baby steps to normalcy and great that R will get his hearing aids covered 100%. MJ, I hope you can find a uniform for the returning YM. Enjoy the party tonight. Love the thought of new batteries in your diva wand. Ann, enjoy your manicure and pedicure today. Susi, pets are so interesting. Lily Belle now stops in the middle of a walk if another dog is a half block away. Indiana got mad at Bob for the first time last night when Bob removed him from the dog's bed to his own heated box. This morning he almost did not want to come in to eat and that is so unlike him. LaDonna, I hope you have another OP day. Every night I wake up sweating and can't go back to sleep. I have an uneasy feeling now which is hard to describe. Wish it could all disappear. Today is the club Christmas luncheon but I will be fine eating. The scale went down 1.2 so perhaps it is broken Anyway it is down 6.2 from last month.
