Only obligation is to go for our eye exam in town. While out I'll pick up gift cards for Christmas gifts. I shall plan track hydrate and walk. We are supposed to get snow...
Sweet dreams.

Ann Good luck with your eye appointments.
I will track, hydrate and move as my knee allows me.Right now no plans but I am waiting for my NP to fax a refill to the pharmacy so if it ever gets filled we will go pick it up.It's supposed to get down in the 30's by morning so tomorrow may be a good day to stay in.

It was 35 this morning so I stayed in while Bob walked. I took my walk with the dog later at 10:30. I may have to walk early today. I have a manicure and pedicure from 9-11. In the afternoon I’ll wrap birthday gifts for a daughter and granddaughter, get our gift bags for adult beverage gifts and wrap a few things for Bob. It has been hard to cut back on baking and gift buying but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. We take the adult children and their spouses to dinner tonight so I will eat carefully the rest of the day.

Ann Thx for the start. Good plan for staying on track a day w/ a few chores. Hope you don't see too much snow in your neck of the woods.
Becky Brrrrr... that weather prediction sounds bitter for central Texas! Hope that you are able to move some tomorrow. Good luck w/ the RX.

Audrey Santa's lil helper... you do still sound busy even though you cut back. Yes, it would be challenging to do less when giving of ourselves is what we have always done. That's a good approach to your food choices before the family dinner.

Tuesday's goals Made a big pot of beef vegetable soup for dinner. That will make dinner plans a little easier. Busy day-- we have two appointments for R tomorrow.

We had a photo taken for my husband's Visa application to the USA - his expires next year and having my daughter fill in the form online makes it simpler for him (and me). We tried arepas and empanadas and ayaka at a small shop in a nearby village - hubby sat with us but only took a bit or two. Today they will finish the visa application, they will follow the news carefully, we will go through the frig to see what we need to toss or can use or make into something else. Tomorrow my sister-in-law will come to make stuffed grape leaves with my daughter (and I). I think we have decided to make kibbeh, mashed potatoes, salad and other vegetables for our Christmas dinner. I might make some potato kibbeh for myself, too, since I am not big on the meat version these days.
Today I will: be aware, write down what I do eat, enjoy some time in the sunshine.
AUDREY: How did reading for Pre-K go? Hope the doctor's appointment and meal out went well!
MJ: Hope you enjoyed the time alone at home without kids to haul about or supervise. Hope you enjoyed it. Hooray for not immediately volunteering to help with the big events...bet you do get roped in for something, though
JUNE: Here's to baby steps
ANN: Hope the trip to the doctor went well - and now I am intrigued about the "bizarre" suggestion made by the doctor...
BEE: Sorry your eye is still bothering you. I didn't know that you could do membrane transplants, either. Will you need to take anti-rejection medication if you have it done?
SUSI: I know that Midnight will settle in soon(er or later). You are good to spend more time with her.
LADONNA: How long will you be off work for vacation?
PAM: Hooray for the reset button
BECKY: I hope the PT helps. I find it interesting that the barometric changes impact your leg...they tend to impact me by causing headaches instead of impacting other bits and pieces of my body..at least so far.

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Audrey - June - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️
It's raining, it's pouring, it's not snow. 😉
DivaTaxi is off-duty (Son#1 let me know at 6 AM that he's taking PTO; he has days to use up). MHMR. Fasting bloodwork (walk-in after 9 AM; T-G for black coffee). The Kressling should be here after school. I have a 5 PM appointment with DrK with the Mouseketeer. Toots has a concert tonight with the big band, at the church where they rehearse.
Yesterday that water main break really bolloxed up traffic, right through the evening rush hour. I'm hoping that they were able to finish it up last night (I'll see this morning).
I got some of what I wanted to do yesterday done, and some is still waiting as other things pushed their way in. Must make my lists and check them twice as we head into the last week before Christmas. Although - I will celebrate the season right through Epiphany... just sayin'... the tree looks pretty in the dark of the playroom this morning...
So grateful for black coffee... ☕☕☕...
❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️☔️❄️

Cathy Wonderful that your daughter can help you w/ DH's Visa application. So much easier to deal w/ paperwork when you have reliable help. Love the image of you, your SIL, and DD making stuffed grape leaves together.
Mj Fingers crossed that the water line break is repaired. Good that you can at least enjoy a cup of coffee before your blood work and admire your Christmas tree.
Ha ha ha... that's the problem w/ "to-do lists"-- new tasks worm their way into the queue.

Waving "hi" to all who follow. Am headed to my study. Some big "to do" tasks are at stages where I can devote less time to them. Ha ha ha. . . That means that can switch from "red alert" tasks to "reddish orange alert" tasks on my list. Will arm myself w/ another cup of tea, give myself a pep talk, and just start at the beginning. Sounds like a plan.

Good morning all. Slept well just not long enough. Not much on the agenda for today. Woke up to 26 temperature and snow covered yard and street. Not sure how much. June good luck to R on his appointments. I had to LOL on the 'color' of your tasks..from red alert to reddish orange Hope you accomplish all you set out to do with time left over for June. Soup is always good MJ hope the water main problem is all cleared up. Such a mess. I bet the tree does look pretty. We keep ours up through the Epiphany as well. Cathy I don't envy you paperwork. Happy your DD is helping with the process. Enjoy sitting in that sunshine. Great goals. Audrey enjoy your pedicure/manicure and dinner out. Wise to watch it before you indulge! Becky good luck with your knee. Hope you have some relief. Thanks for the good luck on my eye appt. I'm not seeing as clearly as I was...always a concern. Waving to all and wishing an OP day! After computer time I shall sit and plan my Tueday.

Ann - Good luck with your eye appointment. Hope you get your prescription Becky and your knee allows you to move well. Audrey - I loved the picture of you with Nora and her class at school. Enjoy your mani/pedi The soup sounds like a good solution for dinner. Good luck with R's appointments. Nice to ease away from red alert June How nice that your daughter is helping with the Visa application. Sounds like some busy time in the kitchen Cathy Good luck with your day MJ. Another busy one. Hope it doesn't get too crazy. Oops. I typed that too soon! Hi, Bee I got a phone call late yesterday morning from one of my gym friends that her husband died unexpectedly Saturday morning. He was only 72 and we thought in good health. He passed in his sleep. Big shock and so sad. My heart breaks for her and their children.
