DotRen, That reminds me of some of the posts on the old WW message boards. People would post all about getting in sweet treats. To me it is the healthier food that is important. Sugar still has a pull on me but so often I find that the sugary thing I ate wasn't worth it. What also got to me was when people would equate snakes with what I considered junk food. Hey, healthier food can also be a snack.

Thanks for the welcome!!!
Well I made it through my first day on green. It felt so good to get back on track. I even had 2 points left over for the day.
Day 2.....here I come!

I'm so glad it's Monday. Ron is back to work after his 2 weeks of doing absolutely nothing around the house that he'd planned on doing (lol), so I can start in earnest now. I stayed pretty close to WW green even with him off, but I am not used to cooking 3 meals a day, and that threw me off.

Hi alll. Vegan and in Green. That's because whole wheat waffles and whole wheat bread is not zero points in purple like it was in simply filling. I have the points for the portions I want..

Goodness I'm tired!
I've been working at taking the Christmas decorations down since 10am. I'm almost finished but needed a little "computer" break.
I've got all my meals tracked for today and I still have 6 pts left. I'll plan on having a snack this evening of no more than 3 pts so that should leave 3 for rollover pts. I haven't figured any activity points and probably won't but I bet I earned at least 2-3 today.

I am not vegan queasy stomach to most foods. Sticking to chicken noodle soup with vegetables and white chicken. enough for 40 grams of protein.

Tomorrow is my official weigh in day but I couldn't wait and hopped on the scale here at home this morning....down 5#!! I was totally out of control over the holidays and ate anything and everything I wanted. As of this morning I've lost all but 1/2 lb of that holiday weight gain. Go Green!

vicki1953, I was down 3 pounds and it shocked me because I way over ate over the last 2 weeks of the year lol.

Eek! I just started my second week today (green plan) and my weekly points went from 35 pts/week to 21 pts? Does that sound right?

borntexan, thank you. That seems like a sudden drop from the first week to the second. I lost 6 pounds (214# to 208#) but, being week 1, that pace won’t continue.
