ann1953, nothing like getting that power back! Makes you realize how dependent we are on electricity. I can't imagine losing power during the winter cold like many of you get. Saturday, February 8: 124.4 up 0.2 lb.

lani, We lost power once in March for three days. It had gotten into the 50's in the house. It was still cold enough outside we put the food from the refrigerator outside on the screened in porch and it did fine. ann1953, is right, you just bundle up.

It was still cold enough outside we put the food from the refrigerator outside on the screened in porch and it did fine. Always a silver lining, eh? I remember, I was renting a room from my great uncle in Mpls. when I was 18-19. I would put the milk between the inner window and the storm window during the winter. Worked great.
