I will KOKO. I'm not tracking or weighing right now and home health has agreed I just need to focus on getting better right now.Yesterday a couple from church brought us a goodie basket. It had the best blueberry muffins.Kenneth helped me with them. There are also some Rice Krispies that aren't even calling my name so that's good.
Yesterday Home health just came out and asked questions.Saturday a different one came and I told Kenneth she was torturing me.Not really but I am sore. She said I would prob be sore tomorrow but it didn't wait until tomorrow to get sore. I have been very tired so I haven't done well keeping up with personals but I thank each and every one of you for your prayers and good wishes. You are the best.

I am taking it one day at a time. I will eat healthy and think positive.
Hubby went out for produce and bread. One shop posted online that they are open but to call in orders and they will meet customers at the door to exchange money/purchase. I will go to the bank Monday to get the 300 dollars they allow to be withdrawn every other week...such a strange world! I am guessing they may close the banks. Told hubby that if there is a line I will NOT go inside, though.
JUNE: The Wednesday group checks in most days via WhatsApp. It is good to keep in touch even if we don't get together. The conference is in July. My daughter hopes that by then things will be back to normal if things really close down as projected SO she is buying tickets she knows will be reimbursed should the pandemic linger beyond what she expects. I worry about my BIL and sister...they had a rough time last time he was in hospital. I know they want to stabilize his spine higher and he also has some cracked/broken vertebrae but I don't envy them...Sorry R has had a bad week.
BEE: We have opted not to meet on Wednesdays so it is quiet here.
ANN: I agree that it is wise to avoid unnecessary going out. My sister said that she read sneeze droplets can travel 25 feet...that is further than the six feet they say to stay away from others. Playing cards and sharing food if any one person at the table is exposed or is ill would increase chances of getting sick.
BECKY: I am sure you are sore...I sometimes think it is worse days 3-5 than the first couple of days. Glad you are on the mend.
SUSI: Will work continue and life go on as usual or will you be staying home more?
MJ: It almost sounds like life is going on as usual for you?
PAM: Will you be staying home more or still going out and about?
AUDREY: Glad you got your weekly shopping done and family photos taken.

Good morning June, Ann, Bee, Becky, Cathy, MJ, LaDonna, Pam and anyone I forgot. Sounds like you are healing well Becky Cathy - Glad you can stay in touch with your group I'm hoping I can take mail and necessities to Cheryl today although I won't be able to visit her. I pulled hundreds of day lilies yesterday and repaired the canvas canopy for the deck. I'm heading to the gym shortly. Unless mandated, they will remain open. The ferals are first.

Good morning all. Ahh the blessings of another good night sleep Susi enjoy the gym. Nice of you to drop off what Cheryl needs. Sounds like yesterday was a busy one for you. Smart move to call ahead and have groceries ready for pickup, Cathy. I am taking all precautions during this time. May sound 'over the top' but I'm doing what I feel comfortable in doing..... Becky I can fully understand your need to put ww on the back burner and concentrate on getting better. It will all fall into place when you are feeling more like Becky. Hang in there and know that prayers continue. Please don't worry about personals....... Bee yes we can all 'do it' today. I believe that we all need the power of prayer. Makes life and the world a much better place.... June ((hug))) great goals. Waving and will CBL.....

Goooooood morning
Ann This is a particularly good time to do what we know to do. KOKO Did you go for a drive? We did. Went on a drive through the country.
Bee Exactly! That's always an option for any day. Dailing that in for today.
Becky You are smart to do as you are doing. Focus on your PT and make as many healthy food choices as you can.
Cathy Thx for sharing. I had wondered about your access to $$, goods, and services. Nice that WhatsApp keeps you connected w/ your friends. Completely understand your concerns about another spinal surgery. Would be a very difficult situation to face.
Am hoping that this will be a better week. R has steadily improved, but an occasional rough patch is likely part of the process.
Susi You had a very productive day in the yard! I was thinking of what lil care package I can drop off for mom. We can call the nurse's station and they will get mom to come to the phone. (Am actively not thinking about the phone situation. I said what I said, no one listened).

Ann I should not be so frustrated by the work situation when I knew it would unfold as it is. I will work my head and heart around this. There is a silver lining in all this. I will find it.

Our drive never happened. LuLa is doing a bit better but still not quite there yet. As good pawrents we stay put and monitor her. Today we will spend it taking hood walks. I think there is a silver lining out there for each of us....and if we keep digging we shall find it Time for coffee.

Good afternoon, June - Ann - Bee - Becky - Cathy- Susi - and AWF!
I put a blabberpost over on the General board.
No drama going on; just random thoughts and I am going to go sit in a sunbeam and relax for the day.
Love to you all.
🍀🌷🍀🌷🍀🌷🍀🌷🍀
One more random thought... the absence of activity, after so much activity - welcome and otherwise - is actually unsettling.
And right now it has the potential to be like having Woodloch-for-weeks (except I have to find a cook...).

Just got back from a wonderful walk around the hood. It's really nice out there. Surprised more people weren't out and about. I do miss roaming around our usual haunts and not taking kindly to having to cancel my hair cut/color! Other than that...business as usual. Trying to keep my hands and mid busy and my mouth from chewing Be well.......

Last night with Rob's family was so much fun. The little boys made us all laugh all night long. The kids are so kind. They are so concerned that we are safe and want to do errands for us or anything else we need. So far Fresno has no community spread and the two confirmed cases are travel related. June, do you have to teach online classes? Our school district is closed and right now our son does not have to go to work this week so he can do the childcare at home. Cathy, I hope the shops continue to have everything you need. Also I am glad you can keep in contract with your Wednesday group. I'm making a list of people I need to call just to keep in touch. MJ, enjoy the quiet day under a sunbeam. Susi, it is good that you can bring Cheryl everything she needs. It's great you could get so much yard work done.Bob is working on our garden but I have not helped with much in the yard. Bee, you always have such a positive attitude and definitely know what to do. Becky, glad you had your surgery when you did because many hospitals are now canceling all elective surgeries. Be strong when the home health care person is making you work hard because that is how you will heal well. There was a WSJ article in 2010 titled "patient heal thyself" and it focused on what made more successful knee replacements. It was the patients who did what they should do to get stronger. You probably are eating just fine for your health and strength. LaDonna, I hope the weekend was good and Pam, here's to another blue dot day. Ann, you and Carl are extremely good pawrents. When we walked this morning Lily Belle saw three of her dog friends and that made for a great walk.
