LOL Judy....I looked up #26 and read it. Of course not only did I forget the name...I forgot what the book was about Oh well....I'm sure you'll enjoy it Thank you SO much for those links. I saw them and listened before the post I managed to take 2 hood walks despite the cloudy damp raw and windy weather. Oh well...hopefully tomorrow will be better. Glad that you snow was short lived. We still have plenty on the ground here. Seeing as I'm already jammified I'm going to make a cup of tea and sit on the sectional with kindle and read a bit. Sleep well, friends

Good morning all. Happy Thursday. Slept well and grateful for that. Woke up to sunshine blue sky and so far no wind. I'm hoping it feels better out there today than yesterday so that I can walk longer. Need to do laundry today. Bathrooms and kitchen are all sanitized. I do that first thing in the a.m. and several times during the day. Will CBL....not fully awake and must complete all my desktop chores Stay safe!

Ann, I really relate on forgetting the name of books and movies and even what they are about! In fact, I hope I don’t discover halfway through that I’ve already read this #26 Evanovich book! Lol Good news in that the ☀️ sun is shining brightly so far even though it’s nippy at 33 degrees. Supposed to get up to 52 (thanks, Alexa 😉). Nothing new to report today...not going anywhere, no visitors- status quo! I did another Silver Sneakers video last night. Strength and balance. I like them so that is something good coming out of all this chaos right now.
We had a fun zoom visit with our friend who’s having her mastectomy today. About 10 of us talked for about 40 minutes wishing her well and just chatting and trying to keep her mind off of her heading to the hospital for two days. She is hoping that she might be able to come home sooner because the thought of being in the hospital scares her more than the surgery, I believe. At any rate, it was fun to catch up and see my coworkers since most of us are extroverted and it’s hard to be home isolated. Pam, Zoom is not free but very reasonable and a very impressive product to bring everyone together. I love how the camera automatically shifts to the person talking. You can have a huge number of people - up to 100. I think it costs somewhere between 12-20 dollars a month.
I’ve developed an itchy leg problem in the past week or so. The tops of my calves are really itchy but I don’t see a rash but it’s especially annoying at night. Maybe it is eczema or dermatitis I’m not sure. I’m going to see if I can get some medication today from the pharmacy. This is a new problem for me and I’m trying to figure out what it could be. Maybe some Benadryl at night will help me. Any thoughts from any of you and if you ever had anything like this?
Well, guess I better get my work computer cranked up and start checking on emails and meetings and so forth. I’ll check in later with all of you until then, have a good day. And Sue, I am still thinking of you very often and especially your DH, who must be grieving quite a bit right now. Hugs to you both.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
We have a balmy 50 dg this morning. I have been to Meijer and unfortunately did not find any TP or distilled water, but still have quite a bit of both so no worries. I did find the new Tyson air-fried chicken tenders that we have been seeing advertised and bought a bag of them (and they were on sale!). I returned some TP that DH brought home yesterday that is especially for RVs and boats and needlessly pricey and got his refund. When I got home, I put everything away and then took myself for a hood walk. One down .....
Judy ~ Thanks for thinking of us. My DH is grieving terribly but trying to keep his spirits up. Now that the shock has worn off, the dull aching pain has set in. We are both remembering so many happy times with Rick and trying to remind each other of them. DH is just stuck in the fact that he always thought he'd go first, being almost 20 years older and with a cardiac history. But there is no rhyme nor reason .....
We will all get through this, we have no other choice. I need to go text the three kids so they have something when they wake up. Also, our Governor is doing a press conference at 11 o'clock and I can only hope there is some good news, but I fear not.
BBL. Make a great day!!

LOL Judy we are cut from the same cloth as my mom used to say Sometimes it takes me 'half way through' to realize that I've read it before. I used to HATE when I'd buy paperbacks back in the day...all they needed to do was change the cover and I would buy it again...only to donate it to Annie's Book Swap LOL.....some things never change Judy Benadryl does help with itching. I have the salve that I picked up at Walmart and also the pills. I can only take the pills at night as they put me on the 'bunny planet'. They say ice water helps with itching. I've tried it all and other than the Benadryl nothing seems to touch it. I've never had an Rx for it.....if you go that route, keep us posted and good luck! Hope it clears up. Nothing worse than an itch!!!!! Glad you got to 'see' you friend via zoom WW meeting. I downloaded the one from WW and still have a problem with it 'working' Has nothing to do with the app...has EVERYTHING to do with me Oh well...this is NOT the time to stress out over that. Heck, I don't even do 'connect' well on the WW site. I'm way behind the times when it comes to computer stuff. Sue also thinking of you and DH with the sudden loss of your DF. I so agree...there IS no rhyme nor reason.....God controls the entire deal. We only see a glimpse of the entire picture. (((hugs))) Great job on getting what you needed and returning the TP for a refund. Awesome job snagging the deal on the chicken. I was in my freezer taking 'inventory' and I'd say we are all set for food for the rest of the year if need be!!!!! Amazing. I have at least 4 bags of coffee and one of coffee beans. No worries there Once Carl is ready, we'll be out for a hood walk. Waving to Pam and will CBL

Yes, Sue and Ann, life is such a complicated puzzle at times, and losing a younger friend makes it so hard. You are right, Sue, and you and your DH have no choice but to put one foot in front of the other and soldier on.
Ann, we also have enough food and toilet paper and distilled water to last a year! Yikes. We only had trouble getting distilled water but all of a sudden I bought three, my DH bought three and the hardware store ordered a case for us. Wish I could give you some, Sue!
I had a grilled cheese sandwich today for lunch and a carton of Light and fit yogurt for breakfast.
Not sure why my legs are so itchy. I hope it is not circulation. Ugh. I’ll get the Benadryl but I hate to have to go out for it.
Have a a good afternoon all.

Right after I posted, DH came in the back door and asked if I'd like to go out for a hood walk, so we did. That was my second one and we plan to go again in about a half hour. He also brought home some Checkers Spicy Chicken sandwiches for our lunch. We are planning to have tuna & mushroom soup over rice for supper with green beans. That was a favorite supper from my childhood and when I introduced DH to it, it became a hit at our house as well.
Judy ~ For several winters my upper legs itched like mad. I discovered that because I only focus on shaving from my knees down in the winter, I also was only applying lotion from the knees down. My upper legs were very itchy until I started lotioning them. When winter ended, I went back to lotioning the whole leg and then continued into and throughout the winter and it was resolved. Also, if needed, I use Tylenol P.M. at night. The ingredient that makes it "P.M." is generic Benadryl.
Ann ~ I have also started a book only to discover that I've already read it. I also chose some books on Book Bub only to have Amazon tell me I had already purchased that book (Whoops!). Hope you enjoyed your walk.
We have temps in the 50's today which makes it much nicer. We are starting to get bored, however, but we'll find other ways to fill our time. Today just seems to be dragging. Maybe it's because we got up so early??
Have a great afternoon!

Judy another oldie but goodie saying 'put one foot in front of the other' I used to laugh at that when I was a kid...now I find myself saying it LOL it's either feast or famine. Glad that you are all 'stocked up' in the water and TP department In going through the freezer I found 3 perdue whole chickens!!!! They have chickens on sale at Hannaford's but I told Carl 'step away from the bird' LOL......he got the message Sue I also use Tylenol PM at night when I need it and never realized it was generic Benadryl. Live and learn. Thanks for that information I'm in good company with the reading books that I've already read. I do love that feature on Amazon and Book Bub. At least someone is paying attention LOL...sure as heck isn't me! We went for 2 good hood walks. Second one we saw a few people out and about and got to talk to them. Poor LuLa does NOT get the social distance thing at all. She is totally pi..ed off that she isn't getting her scratches behind the ear or her cookie bones LOL. She does put a smile on their faces which is great. I did accomplish all that I set out to do....laundry, steamed kitchen floor and bathroom floors, and did 2 loads of laundry. Tomorrow is another day. I also switched out the Scentsy burners and the smell is really uplifting. I love anything with lemon in it and this one is iced lemon cookie. Sheesh...I hope it doesn't make me hungry LOL. I also ran the vac and of course used the disinfectant numerous times. We will have supper and go for one last walk of the day and then it's me and the sectional Take care all and talk tomorrow.......

Hi all,
Good to read about your busy days and all your walks. I wanted to get out there but never got around to it because work and a couple home obligations kept me busy. Ann, I’m envious of all you accomplished steaming floors and getting lemon scented room fresheners set up! I love ALL things lemon, too. I have a steamer. I should get it out. Do you use it on wood? I have a vinyl flooring in the kitchen and it seemed to strip it a little. Does that happen to you?
Thank you Ann and Sue for the itchy leg recommendations. This is a weird combo of tingling and itching. I ordered a couple new creams on Amazon tonight. I’m a little worried about diabetes so I hope this is just a case of dry skin or even dermatitis but I don’t see a rash. I’ll see how the creams go and then if they don’t improve, I’ll get it checked out after this Covid passes.
We had pork tenderloin with a fig sauce along with roasted potatoes and green beans for dinner- one of our meal kits. I’m glad we have them now.
It’s weird but I’m more tired than when I work full time. Lots of worries I guess. I helped my DD fill out small business loan info today. Also, we did have fun FaceTiming. My DGD is turning 6 tomorrow and since her party was canceled, my DD is trying to make it fun for her. One big wish is to have pink hair! My DD put a temporary rinse in that lasts 5 washes. She’s thrilled and wants me to have pink and green hair! Lol
Sue, your dinner sounded like good comfort food. I used to love a tuna noodle casserole! My mom would put a hard boiled egg in it, too.
We are going to the Cape tomorrow. We’ll have to pack food so it’ll be a bit more work but it’s only for 1.5 days or so.

Hello dear friends! I started a post earlier, but hit a wrong key and POOF! It was gone. DH and I started the day with a visit from our neighbor, Pete, who was borrowing some equipment from DH. We all carefully kept a distance, but it was so good to see SOMEONE, lol. After lunch, we took a ride and delivered masks made by my cousin's wife in Nebraska, to the wound clinic nurses and to hospice. We also gassed up my car. Gloves, wipes and social distancing made it a safe day. It is surprising how much it boosted our mood to get out a little. We also touched base with DD2 and planned a future visit with her to deliver her birthday present from March 12 and some food items. I also talked with my DSIL, wife of my baby brother. We talked just shy of an hour and caught up on things. DB and his son are sugar cane and soy bean farmers, so are busy planting now. The two daughters and one of their spouses are working from home. The other spouse works at a plant and is considered essential. We had good news this morning about DBIL. He was fever-free this morning and blood sugar was below 200. Still very short of breath and coughing, but able to get himself to the bathroom. I hope he is on the downside of CV. Still no test results, but we are pretty sure it's what he has. The good news really lifted DH's spirits. Louisiana still has a rising CV-19 census, with a 28% increase in cases from yesterday. The Governor was pleading with people to please stay home. Healthcare personnel are overwhelmed and tiring, especially in the NOLA area. The feds are sending in medical personnel to help out and the government is pleading for volunteers from the retired nurses and doctors to fill the shortage. I think the next couple of weeks will be scary and crucial. DH and I marveled at the full parking lots at stores. Ann - Your "step away from the bird" comment cracked me up! It sounds like you got a lot accomplished today. I love a citrus scent and we often put DoTerra's Citrus Bliss in our diffuser. Judy - I immediately thought of dry skin when you mentioned the itching, as I fight that often in the winter. My next thought was, "Oh no, I hope it's not shingles!" Hoping it's dry skin! Enjoy your trip to the Cape. You can make that distance without a bathroom stop, right? Sue - I'll bet the frequent walks will help your moods. Keeping you and DH in prayer. Life is so hard to bear sometimes! I'm going to read a bit before bedtime. I am enjoying "Circling the Sun" by Paula McLain about a young girl growing up in the wilds of Kenya. My audiobook is "How to Walk Away" by Katherine Center and it is quite exciting only a chapter or two in. We had hamburgers and air fries for dinner. Once again, I am maintaining perfectly at 12 lbs. above goal. Sigh!

Good morning all. Another morning where I woke up feeling refreshed. Grateful for that. Judy so happy that you got to help your DD out with the form. How nice to get to face time with your family. Wishing DGD a very happy bday I so enjoyed all my walks yesterday. Whenever I looked at my Garmin and saw over 17,000 steps it made me realize just why I was so tired! It wasn't all at once but I can surely 'feel it' in my legs today! I shall take walks, but I will keep them simple. LOL to pink and green hair I bet you could 'pull it off' Enjoy the cape and be safe. Your pork tenderloin sounded really good. I've never had fig sauce. A friend of mine said she had a pizza with fig on it. Never had that either. Pam God is good. So VERY happy that DBIL's fever broke. The waiting is the hard part. He remains in my prayers. I bet it IS a load of DH's mind. Glad you liked the chicken comment I loved How To Walk Away. Thanks Judy for that suggestion. My reading has been on and off. For some reason I'm enjoying playing fierce games of scrabble on my phone LOL. Your supper sounded good. Nothing like a good burger. I should defrost some hamburg and plan on that over the weekend. Sue keeping DH and all involved in my prayers. Noting much on the agenda for today. I SHOULD do a little more cleaning. Right now I have the sheets in. We'll see how I can keep up this momentum. Be safe.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
TGIF!!
Judy ~ Thanks for the uplifting music links. I had time to listen to them all and enjoyed it!! How are your legs?
Ann ~ You did awesome with all the steps yesterday AND did laundry AND wiped down and steamed!! You're my hero!!
I have already showered and straightened up the house and then walked 2 times around the hood. It is quite chilly this morning, but I put on a down jacket, infinity scarf and gloves and headed out with my iPod. I am so enjoying my old play list of songs I don't hear any more.
The news on our front has not been good, they are predicting 6-7 more weeks of this. It could get really tedious!! But all we have to do is One Day At A Time!
BBL. Make a great day!!
