Good morning and happy Sunday. Another night where I slept well. Been so tired lately. I should go to bed earlier, but the night owl in me rules LOL.
Judy happy that you and DH made the decision to stay put. Sounds like you had a nice day at home. I watched that link you sent again. Very informative. I agree with Pam, so much misinformation 'out there' This was put together very well. I would NOT have done well with those cookies!!!!! If I find myself asking for the recipe, please don't sent it LOL.
Pam also happy that you decided to not go to camp. I have a problem with long distances and needed the bathroom. Happy you got to talk to your brother and that your DBIL and DSIL are home and doing well. They shall remain in my prayers.
Nothing on the agenda today. We were fortunate yesterday to get three hood walks in before it rained. Looks 'iffy' out there now. We'll see what happens as the day goes on.
Waving...and wishing y'all a great day. I need to stop the BLT's....I did a LOT of mindless nibbling yesterday.......
Take care and be safe.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Sunday! We have a sunny morning with warmer temps, but it is going to drop all day. Sounds like a good time to get outdoors while it is nice. I only got one walk yesterday due to the rain.
Judy ~ Your cookies did sound delicious, but I fought off the urge to ask you for the recipe. I have been successful thus far in watching our treats, as well as increasing our exercise, and hope to continue. I am also glad you didn’t go to the Cape. It sounded like fun, but is really non-essential travel along with all the other reasons you listed. There was an editorial in our Detroit Free Press this morning written by the mayor of a town in northern Michigan, asking their seasonal residents (those with cottages and Summer homes) to please NOT come now! They are trying to keep their (aging) population safe as well as they have limited medical resources. Why take the (potential) germs from down here up there??
Pam ~ It is so funny to hear you talking about planting, etc., when we still have cold weather. Our climates are definitely different!! I love hostas and we used to have some, then DH moved them all into one bed along the driveway. It wasn’t too long before they outgrew that and he started giving pieces of them away, and then eventually got rid of them altogether. No matter how much we cut them back, they were thriving!! Go glad to hear that both your DSIL and SBIL are recovering. They are among the lucky ones for sure.
Ann ~ Yay for another good night’s sleep!! I had a bit of a restless one, but we had storms during the night and the barometric pressure changed dramatically, and that always seems to affect my sleep. I woke once in the night when DH was making odd noises, and then couldn’t get back to sleep. But I will try again tonight, and hopefully achieve it.
Our movie choices changed yesterday. We watched “Air Force One” in the afternoon, then had our Venison Chili Mac for supper with cottage cheese and pineapple. “Funny Girl” ran from 8-11:30 p.m. and we decided to get realistic that we would never make it until 11:30!! So we watched some old episodes of “Law & Order: SVU” that we had missed. We were in bed about 9:30.
This morning I plan to watch our favorite news anchor (Devin Scillian) on Flashpoint and then will go for my walk and get back in time to see Dr. Charles Stanley on In Touch Ministries. I really enjoyed his sermon last week, so I think he will become a favorite. DH is off to Kroger for our fruits and vegetables.
BBL. Make a great day!!

yeah to your sunshine, Sue. I'm envious. We have liquid sunshine today. Oh well....should it break I'll get out to walk...if not, tomorrow IS another day. Our walking schedule is in reverse, Sue LOL.
Sounds like you and DH made the most of it with your movie/program choices and supper.
Breakfast and coffee are done and I'm all tracked and planned for the day. Now to STICK to it! I did some extra snacking and it reared its head today on the scale. Oh well...still withing my 'happy zone' so I'm good with that.
Will CBL.....

Hey all,
Good to read all the posts. It’s a dreary day today with some clouds and rain. I’m glad everyone liked the video and I’m also in agreement that there are too many wish washy mixed messages out there. I respect the view of the scientists and medical community and as much as we ALL are itchy to get back out there, we want to stay alive first. The NY governor said that best. Our state us also one of hardest hit as are Louisiana and Michigan so I we four are all in this together! I saw the governors of both MI and LA on Meet the Press this morning. Now I shall shut the news off!
We have been watching West World which is a wacky escape series with a good story line but not a typical pick for me! DH has been liking it and he generally has no attention span fir continuing series. I have also been doing lots of online jigsaw puzzles. I probably should be using the time to clear some clutter but I’ve come to realize that scarcity of time is not really the reason I don’t do that! I’d much rather be reading! Lol I especially need to tackle one bedroom that has become a catch all. I really hate those projects because I get overwhelmed. I need help in that regard, I did weed through an over abundance of cookbooks last night and started a donation pile. I appreciate all tips! My son is such a minimalist. He says just get a garbage bag and throw everything out. But, I can’t do that.
Ill be be back later. Glad everyone is well. The leg itching is subsiding! Thanks for tips!

P.s. yes, the Cape Cod residents are begging people to stay away since resources are limited. And, I really had no business making 4 dozen cookies other than giving me something to do! I’ll freeze most and ration out the rest😘

Judy I am not listening to news today. I did for a bit yesterday against my better judgement. Sometimes you just have to do what we feel is best at the time. Today is pretty nasty out. We lucked out and got in a very short hood walk with LuLa. She 'did her thing' and we happy to say we missed the heavy downpour. That began shortly after we were inside and continues as I type. So happy that the leg itching is subsiding, Judy. We are still enjoying a few episodes a day of Brooklyn Nine Nine. Light and 'out there' LOL...just what we need right now. I should be weeding through, but just not in the right frame of mind. I have a habit of ditching everything in site on a good day...today? I'd probably throw stuff out the windows LOL.....so I'll focus on remaining calm. The other day I was listening to meditation music via Alexa and that was very soothing. Today I may pop in one of my many instrumental CD's that I have. Going to fill my water mug. It makes me smile whenever I use it as it has owls on it Later!

Happy Sunday! I "went to Mass" with Fr. Josh Johnson, from a parish here in my diocese this morning. I have always liked his calm, down to earth manner. DH went to pick up our Super 1 grocery order, which was ready a day early, but didn't contain any of the cleaning supplies we were trying to get for DD2. He also dropped off some of our canned and freezer foods for DD1. Little Abby was sad that she couldn't give hugs. It is so hard for little ones to understand. Then, against my wishes, DH went into Walmart to pick up his Rx at the pharmacy counter. His argument that if I get CV, he will get it anyway is probably spot on, but my urge to protect him is strong. He says he didn't touch anything and was the only person there. Heard from DSIL that they are doing well. DBIL was able to shower and shave this morning and is now ensconced in his chair for the day. I just learned one of our nursing homes has a CV case now. It is the one where my mom's VBF lives. It's been more than 2 weeks since I made a hospice visit there, so I'm not worried for myself. The number of cases in LA continues to spiral out of control. I'm not surprised, as people are posting pictures of large groups gathering at lakes and other outdoor sites. Some just don't get it. We have another warm sunny day, so I will get in a walk and maybe get my poinsettias left over from Christmas 2019 in the ground. I will try to email a pic of the 2018 ones that survived the winter and are now inexplicably turning red. We watched the old John Wayne movie Chisum last night. After DH went to bed, I watched Crash on Prime, but fell asleep before it was over, so will finish it this afternoon. I had seen it before, years ago. Hope you all have a restful, restorative Sunday!

Pam I just don't get how people can justify getting together like that. Sheesh. Glad you got to spend time in virtual church. I hear you on DH and the CVS visit. Children just don't understand. They want to hug and be hugged.
It's a long day here. I so miss my walks. I can deal with a lot of things providing I can walk in the fresh air. Going to read again.

Hey again. I tackled a starter project which proved to be pretty time consuming but I feel good. I cleaned out two deep drawers of my kitchen desk. I had been in the habit if tossing thins in and rarely emptying so I was able to create a lot of good organized space after filling a big trash bag with things I’ll never use. I’m reading Gretchen Rubins book called “Outer Order, Inner Calm. Easy short little pages full of great advice.
So I’m patting my organizationally impaired self on the back! Have a good one all. We had ham sandwiches for lunch and an egg and sausage breakfast.
Im ready for a nap!
p.s. darn, I had missed your posts, Ann and Pam. Had to pop back in. Ann, I really wish I had your toss it out mentality. That can be such a good quality! Good you got the Lula walks in. I wish Carl would take cookies!
Pam, glad you got most of your supplies at the store. Isn’t it funny how things we took for granted or so scarce right now especially cleaning supplies? I heard that someone pulled a gun on another customer over a package of toilet paper in New Hampshire! Can you even imagine?? Yes, I completely agree with some of these people are really bonkers to be gathering in large groups and jeopardizing not only themselves but all of us. Will never get rid of this virus unless people start to listen and take it very, very seriously. It makes me angry when I hear them say it’s overblown and I’ve even heard some say “Gee, what’s the problem? Just wash your hands and you will be all set!”
My DH has been really wrapped up in Westworld today. It’s kind of funny for me to see him binge watching an Amazon HBO show and I’m kind of glad for him that he’s found something that really captured his attention. I didn’t get as into it as he did and I’m watching succession which is on HBO as well I believe. It’s about a super wealthy corporate family and all their trials and tribulations. Reminds me of a modern day Dallas or Dynasty. The language is a little rough, but what isn’t today, I guess.
Ta Ta for now!

Lol Judy. You get a few good pats on the back from me ... virtual of course We did take another longer hood walk. Miss LuLa, after sniffing around wanted no part of the great outdoors. We took her home, wiped her down and went on our merry way. Good thing we didn't go further as it's pouring again. I'm descaling our coffee maker. I drink mine black, so when it starts to taste off it's time to do it. Waving! Pam thanks for the email. It made my day

Pam ~ Thanks so much for the pictures of your poinsettias. They are beautiful!!
We have had a quiet day, watching "Adam's Rib" on TV with Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. Neither one of us had ever seen it and it provided a nice change of pace.
We are grilling some rib eye steaks for dinner to pair with steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots blend.
We had one walk this morning and then the temps started dropping and the wind picked up, so we've stayed in since then.
Have a great evening!

Sue glad you enjoyed your movie. I saw that years ago. It brought back fond memories Supper sounds delish. I am not going to bother with another hood walk. After descaling the coffee pot, I decided to take a quick shower and I'm all nice and jammified. Carl is preparing supper and while he's doing that I'll set the table and get some music on via Alexa.
