The state Supreme Court overruled the governor. and there is a primary today. And the US Supreme Court overruled the federal court to require postmark today of absence ballots. at the latest overruling lower court who said the 13th was the deadline due absentee vote. Thank Republicans.

@lka48, not surprised. "Take it, what do you have to lose? So you might die, but I make $$ so it's a win, right?"

@lka48, Linda, it figures! He's erratic and unpredictable about a lot of things but the one thing you can always count on is that whatever he does he's got an angle to benefit himself in mind. amyrs, here in TN the only thing on the ballot on Super Tuesday was the presidential primary. Does Wisconsin have other things on their ballot that Republicans are trying to get through? It makes no sense to require voting when we're in the middle of a pandemic, so they have to see some advantage to themselves in doing that. Or is it that they just want to prevent anything your Democrat Governor proposes?

I was reading where, experts are wondering WHY Trump & Pence are still not separated in case Trump gets sick & needs to turn the running of government over to Pence. Should Pence get sick as well, then Pelosi is in line, with Grassley after her & Mike Pompeo after that. It was an interesting list & a very scary one when you read the names on it for succession.

Linda, I think the answer to your question is because they are total idiots. Otherwise, I can see absolutely no explanation for it.

My hummingbird feeder is hanging and ready. Come on hummers! You'll be the highlight of our quarantine. Think I'll go for a walk now as thunderstorms are predicted possibly for later today. Really trying to stay positive here.

Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) purchased as much as $65,000 in shares of stock in a company that produces personal protective equipment, the same day the Senate held a private briefing about the COVID-19 pandemic, according to new financial disclosures reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Monday.
One of several senators whose recent stock activity has raised red flags, Perdue bought shares in DuPont de Nemours, commonly known as the chemical giant DuPont, which manufactures personal protective equipment, or PPE, like gowns, masks and gloves. PPE has become scarce as health care workers protect themselves against COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
He made the transaction on Jan. 24, when senators had a classified briefing on the growing threat of the virus. A spokesperson for Perdue told HuffPost Tuesday that the senator did not attend.
Over the next month, Perdue, a former corporate executive whose net worth is an estimated $15.8 million, continued to buy more shares of DuPont stock, investing as much as $185,000.

I have thought, too, that maybe this virus was an accident in a lab. Why did the Dr. that warned of the virus, first, in China get shut down & eventually died. When China is involved, who the heck knows what the truth is. Something Trump & China have in common!

Trump Has a New Press Secretary: Kayleigh McEnany, a Campaign Spokeswoman She replaces Stephanie Grisham, who had the job for nine months, and will return to Melania Trump’s staff.
I could never stand her when she appeared on different political shows as a pundit. She also claimed earlier that this virus would never make it to the US. Yup, lots of credibility there...

I can not stand Kayleigh McEnany! Thank goodness the press secretary never gets to say anything because he's always in front of her microphone. I could not stand her back during the election when she was on CNN a lot. Listening to her then was like nails on a chalkboard. Who would have thought I'd ever miss Sarah HS? One more person I will not be listening to, that is if he ever lets her actually say anything. Ugh! He has a major talent for picking the absolute worst people.
As for where the virus originated, I suspect we may not ever really know. I just hope we find a way to kill it, and find it soon.

If he's not bragging about what a wonderful job he is doing, he's blaming others for his dangerous, deadly, and stupid mistakes. The "buck" never stops at his desk. It is always over there, or there, or there. Pathetic little weakling.
An old Chinese proverb, "May you live in interesting times" came to mind today, when I opened a letter from a friend and there was a face mask in the envelope.
Aww. She loves me.
