Its my spring break week but I'll be at home of course. I hope to get in the yard more and do some weeding. Spruce up a little bit. I don't have much energy these days. I'll KOKO with eating. Well stocked. OH goodness Ann, hope those flying monkeys don't cause you too much trouble Bee, when something happens to my appetite I get worried. LOL Becky, sounds like a busy day - stay safe out there getting groceries.

Persistence not Perfection...
Every time I decide to do it all I tend not to do any of it well with being OP, getting exercise, etc.
Talked to my daughter and she updated us on the fence and garden they are putting in. My granddaughters were wound up and bored. My son is working two days and off four days alternating with two other managers at his company. My DIL is being reassigned from radiology to one of the new COVID-19 ICU units. She has never worked ICU but has worked ER and is a smart cookie who keeps a spotless house so if anyone can work there and stay safe it would be her. She said that if she were to quit it could impact the RN license she holds. Strange times!
The friend who brings groceries when I need them went for a drive yesterday and hit a number of stores just to be out and about (I don't get it but she does what she does). She sent a video of empty freezer sections and said more than one store had nothing on the shelves or in the freezer sections. In the news it says imported goods have increased by 55% in cost due to the devaluation of the dollar. I am glad we don't need anything from the store and hope medications are still being imported!
ANN: Say hi to the flying monkeys from me Glad you were able to converse with neighbors. Your plumbing problem sounds miserable but so glad it was fixed and that you will get dried out and back up and running again sooner than later. I am glad plumbing is considered "essential"!
BEE: I am not one who loses her appetite when things get stressful...nope...I found myself mixing peanut butter, butter, sugar, brown sugar and flour together for fake cookie dough and eating it yesterday. UGH!
BECKY: Any moving is more than not moving at all. I know you want to keep your new knee moving. Take precautions while shopping! I wonder if your PT will give you a list of exercises to continue doing at home after his time with you comes to an end?
LADONNA: Don't overexert yourself in the garden...but do enjoy being outside. I agree with you that Laken should be responsible for Lucy. She may have gifted Lucy to the family but as the one to bring her home and being old enough to care for her...Lucy should be her responsibility rather than that of others (you).
SUSI: Hooray for better bone density than before! I am thinking that if/when we go out again the first thing I would check out is the produce. I saw the delivery you received and was jealous! Too bad they can't have chest x-rays. How do you pickle your vegetables and for how long?
JUNE: Some of my friends have purchases earphones for their husbands to use while the TV is on. The husbands can have it higher as they have hearing problems but it might work for you and your husband if he doesn't just have it on for background noise. If it is viral pneumonia they used to give erythromycin...not a big antibiotic. Not sure if that is true or not these days. Hope you had an enjoyable walk. I hadn't thought about wipes impacting sewage. We have septic here and most of the toilet paper is kept in a wastebasket by the toilet and put out with the garbage. It really was disgusting idea to me when I moved here forty years ago but it is the norm now.
MJ: It sounds like your Sunday was a good one if all your plans were achieved
AUDREY: I hope you get the masks from your neighbor. I have seen the easy to make fold and wear ones but am not sure if we have elastic or rubber bands. There are so many people that were in need and now are in greater need, people without jobs and roofs over their heads and medical insurance...it is a crazy time made crazier by the virus. How fun to have the items to create Easter baskets for your grandchildren with! How will you get the baskets delivered?
PAM: I am sure you are missing Curves...glad you are finding alternate ways to move.

Ann - I have the Wizard of Oz on my DVR. Might need to watch it! LOL Hooking arms with both Ann and Bee. Becky - That's a busy enough day Enjoy your time off LaDonna. We are "off" on Friday. Cathy - I hope your friend is practicing social distancing. I use 1 cup water, 1/2 cup white distilled vinegar, 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbs. sugar. Heat to boiling and pour over veggies. When cool, drain and refrigerate.

Good morning all. Slept well. I think the lull of the fans under the house helps me Very foggy out there right now, but I don't see any wind yet. LOL Susi enjoy the Wizard Yes we can all hook arms together. Cathy I always have good intentions and plan and track my day ahead of time. At times I DO have to go back and alter...most often it is to ADD treats as I had to yesterday! All we can do is our best. Yes I'm also happy as a lark that plumbers are 'essential' Praying your DIL remains safe. LaDonna well stocked is a good thing. Hope the weather and your energy allow you to work in the yard. Please don't push yourself! I know, easier said than done. Becky hope you find all that you need at the market today. Take it easy with the M! LOL Bee I think I know JUST where you appetite has landed I'm going to send it back to you Waving and wishing AWF a good OP and safe day!

My prayers and loving thoughts are with all of you and yours.
Ann Thx for the start. So helpful to set your intentions for a healthy day and give gratitude. Goodness... those flying monkeys were so scary when we were little ones.
Bee Oh no... I just checked the FBI (Food Be Inciting) website. . . 24 hours must pass before a missing appetite report can be filed. Counting blessings and appreciating that the sun will rise for us today are gifts that we give ourselves.
Becky Hope that you can get I and out of the grocery store quickly. Ohio is now limiting the number of shoppers in a store based on space. Today's the first day. Hope that customers will be respectful and patient.
LaDonna Know that you will pace yourself when you have less energy. Is the pollen count down? Hope so. Puppies take a lot of time and attention! Yep, "momma" would the best person for the job! I would love to have another dog if it wasn't me on the business ends of co ownership.
Cathy Glad that you could visit with your DD and get an update on family news. Nurses & healthcare support staff are one of front line defenders in this pandemic. These are strange times, indeed. . . I wondered about the rising prices where you are. Spoke w/ my nephew & his wife in FL near Daytona. R spoke w/ his brother in FL near Tampa. Very chaotic there. FL for just now issued a stay at home order. Beaches and docks still drawing crowds. Yesterday was much better. R was willing to do something besides let the Tv run. We went for a walk. We played some Yahtzee. We visited w/ our families on the phone. Today he is choosing to do a small outdoor task.

Susi Thx for the pickling recipe. Sounds very "doable." My niece who is living in DE at the moment just signed up for Misfits. She is looking forward to getting her first shipment.
Ann My SIL always sleeps with a fan running. So do her girls. They really cannot sleep well without it. Imagine if those flying monkeys could swoop in and gently remove some of those snacks. 🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒🐒

Okey dokey I have to decide if today is just a milk run or a grocery run. Since Aldi's switch milk vendors who use tall, linearcontainers, the milk goes bad 3-5days early. I will just stop buying it there unless I must. IfI do buy it,thenI will freeze some ofit. I have a small amt of powdered milk-- just. In case.

Getting my coffee on this morning then a little house puttering. I may or may not go outside. It's just not agreeing with my allergies. I'll be in and out with Lucy. Laken is caring for her for the most part but it is taking all of us! Whew!
Cathy, Scary for your DIL. My niece, Rachel is also on the front lines at a local hospital. She is so nervous about coming home to her 6yo son and husband. She's being careful I'm sure but there are so many unknowns about this virus. We keep hearing different info daily.
Susi, sounds like an easy way to prepare the vegs. hope your work week goes well. Even though I'm technically off this week I'll probably still boot up the work computer. I've got plenty to do and it may even keep my mind busy if needed.
Ann, glad you rested well. It is sunny and beautiful here but pollen is flying everywhere. I can only take little bits of outdoors at a time.
June, sounds like you and R had a really nice Sunday! I've made the switch to unsweetened almond milk and I really like it. It was different at first but now I prefer it. I buy skim milk for Randy and Laken as that's what they use with cereal. Our governor has shut down many things and is telling people to stay home but we are one of "those states" that doesnt have a shelter in place order. Our numbers are lower but isn't that the point to keep them that way? I say lets go all the way while we are going...damage has already been done to small businesses so at this point its all about everyone's safety.

Good morning, Ann - Bee - Becky - LaDonna - Cathy - Susi - June - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family...
💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞 <miss my monkeys> 💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞.
All three of the Big'Uns send pics of their weekend relaxation. Son#1 & MissMouse sent feet-at-the-firepit pics. Son#2 sent a pic of the trench he dug from his garage downspout to the street for the drainpipe he's installing. Different strokes for different folks, LOL!
My WW Breakfast Group has set up a Zoom meeting to follow our WW workshop next Saturday morning just to have chatting time. There's also a FitBit steps challenge that my GF had set up B.C. (before Covid-19) that is still going strong. Since I lost my FitBit a while back, I happily cheer them on 😂🤣😂. And I've been attending virtual workshops led by different leaders whose presentation style I admire (our Saturday group gets the weekly topic on its last day; I also like being able to "work the topic" all week long).
Today looks like it will be a good yard & garden day. We will also take some time to carefully craft our grocery list so that we have an efficient trip (the plan is for tomorrow or Wednesday). I want to clean / organize / inventory our upstairs and downstairs freezers - I think I'll do that right after breakfast, when it's still just a bit chilly outside (yes, I do see the irony in standing in front of a freezer instead of standing outdoors).
Time for coffee... ☕☕☕... and breakfast...
🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱

Stopping back in before starting the day....breakfast and coffee are done and ONCE AGAIN I have planned and tracked my day. Hopefully today will be the day that I actually stick with it So far no wind. Not sure why the weather advisory is still on. June happy that R and you are involved in more than the tv. Carl and I watch very little tv with the exception of at night. We have a few series that we watch via Netflix and Hulu, but mostly we enjoy you tube music videos. It is annoying when he has on the police chases.....when that happens I immediately plug myself into relaxing music and read! Keeping your DN in my prayers. LOL to those flying monkeys. If I ruled the world, they surely would rid us of pointy foods and take some belly fat away along with them Good luck finding powdered milk. LaDonna yes the pollen is flying around here as well. Spring is a horrible time of the year for me. I sneeze constantly and forever cleaning my throat. Those that don't understand allergies must think that I have the virus. I never leave the house without tissues especially this time of the year! MJ happy freezer organizing. I did that last week and found a few good meals hiding in the way back. Enjoy your yard work. Time to get a move on.

Took our first walk of the day. Heard from Service Pro, our insurance company and our insurance agent. The gal at Service Pro said that another crew will be coming out perhaps today or tomorrow to inspect the work and if need be, do another cleaning. I guess that is their protocol. This has surely been an upsetting ordeal...especially at THIS time. Just trying to keep cool and wanted to pop in and give an update. Prayers and good vibes appreciated. Thanks

Popping back in...
R has started an outdoor project. He had to go to the local hardware store. Customers were respectful & patient.
We have made the decision to wear a face shield and bandanna when out. The deciding factor was the mental health of those who are staffing the stores. Also not everyone without symptoms is healthy. If you do not have a mask, then there is a simple one made out out paper towels on FB. I also thought of this-- most of us have a fitted sheet from which we can remove elastic or old tennis shoes from which we can remove shoe laces.
LaDonna That pollen is wicked in the SC this time of year. Don't you just know it-- I cleaned out all my OTC meds & tossed allergy pills that were expired in Feb. Of course, I intended to replace them as needed. Uhm. . . I think that time is here.
If you want informed, calm, and reassuring news source, then I would recommend OH's Dr. Acton.
Ann I have my fingers and toes crossed that you will hear goods news from ins. company and get great results w/ ServicePro. A professional cleaning will give you greater peace of mind.
I have a small bag of powdered milk. I am holding it in reserve. Still am weighing mission go/ no go for the full grocery run or just a quick milk run.
Mj i will have to look into Zoom. You make it seem so appealing!
Time to supervise R and decide on grocery mission.
