Glad you slept well Ann. LaDonna - Happy birthday to DS. What a decadent rice dish and meal! Audrey - I so want some pizza but I won't go in the shop for just 2 slices and the place doesn't make personal size pizzas. So I hope you enjoyed it for me. LOL Bee - Yum! Weird storms yesterday June. Veggies sound tasty Becky - Sounds like a perfect day to walk. Good luck with your shopping The storm hit fast and hard yesterday. It may even have been a mini tornado as a metal shed was uprooted and thrown in the street at the end of the block! It's still quite windy and cool. I'm heading to the supermarket around 9. It opens at 8 but I am expecting a line and hoping it dies down quickly. My list is short but necessary and includes things for both Carol and Cheryl. I'll do a dance video and take a bike ride later. Scale is well in my comfort zone even after pasta for dinner. Fortunately, 1 oz. is enough for me. However, pasta MUST be accompanied by a salad, garlic bread and wine! LOL.

Happy shopping Susi. Hope you find all you need quickly. Wish I could say the same amount of pasta satisfies me lol.
Bee that is the same recipe I have made but nevet used pork chops. I used boneless chicken breasts. Will try it with pork. Thanks.
My scale slid down 1.1 this morning. I'll take it.
Have sheets washing lol.

Goooooood morning
LaDonna & Bee Thx for the recipes! Lots of comfort to bringing out family favorites. Plus there are many ways to make favs work.
Becky Hope that you have a good experience with the HEB curbside service. Will be good to have your groceries earlier in the day and on hansfir the weekend. Not sure which ones, but some grocery stores here are closed for Easter. Think that is a good idea. Will give workers time for their devotions. Plus they can rest and relax at home w/ their families.
Audrey When I think ofcooking w/ a stick of butter, I think of JuliaChilds.
Bee Yay for theTB moving downward. 🎉
Ann Glad you had no problem sleeping. Probably was all that laundering that made your body ready for sleep.

Susi Yikes! That was a pretty powerful storm. Good ideas for indoor & outdoor exercise. We Awoke to a scant coating of snow on the ground and then a flurry of snowflakes. Hope that you can be in and out of the grocery store as you shop for the three of you.
ha ha ha. . . Again, you can make your favs work. Yay! Congrats for being in your zone!

Okey dokey I have had to put in quite of few hours on my course- emails, grading, curricular development & Blackboard structural work. Got this week's lesson finalized, next week's introduction roughly half finished. Have to grade 12 more submissions. Will probably do that now. May push through the work necessary for the next week'sdocument analysis.
Will make sure I eat healthy even though my tendency is to drink caffeine & push through. I am setting my alarm to eat healthy.

Cathy - goodto hear from you. Goodto know that all is well enough. Understand-- I hate to be out of the loop, but cannot always respond to personals if I get sidetracked especially when we are chatty!

Good morning, all!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family...
💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞 <miss my monkeys> 💞🐵🙈🙉🙊🐵💞.
It's beautiful and sunny, but cold and still windy after that wild storm yesterday afternoon. So we're deferring any yard work and the dandelions will live to occupy Toots another day. That doesn't mean that there's nothing to do around here!
MissMilla's school is presenting Stations of the Cross on-line at 10 AM; our governor will have his daily update beginning at 10:30 AM. That shifts the day a bit.
I think I want to rough out menus for the next week, working backward and forward from Easter Sunday dinner. I still haven't quite adjusted from the habit of making enough to also feed the Kressling, LOL.
Coffee's hot and tasty... ☕☕☕... <mug held high>...
🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱 Be well! Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱🐇🐣🐇🌱

Bee, I'm for sure going to try that recipe! I'll try and snag some pchops in my next grocery order. Thanks!
Audrey, I won't eat any of the rice but I have indulged in it around the holidays. Today my heart does not need it. 80 sounds nice.
Ann, very good job with the scale. When I weighed at Drs ofc last week I was down some, too. Miracle of all miracles LOL
June, you are rocking the school work! Good plan to keep the healthy nourishment in the cards.
Becky, great that you could get a curbside pick up. IMO those are the way to go esp in these times.
Susi, have you tried the tombstone pizzas? I think they are really pretty good for store bought if you can't get to your favorite pizza place right now.
Cathy, good to hear from you. Take care and enjoy the new book you've started.
Waving to MJ and Pam

Took a nice leisurely shower, had breakfast and a coffee and now waiting patiently for the second pot to brew. Very windy here today. When I go out I will have to dress warmly as it's a cold wind. I stepped out in the screen room to 'test the waters' and came back in rather quickly. I didn't go with Carl for our normal morning walk. Will wait till after coffee. MJ hard to cut back on cooking when you are used to feeding a lot of people. That's great that MIssMIlla's school is presenting Station of the Cross online. Cathy I also understand. Sometimes responding to all isn't in the mix. Depends on how much energy we have at any given time or what is on our own personal agenda. Know that those kinds of things are always forgiven Just love it when we all 'show up' and are accounted for...especially now! Great that you are adapting and making headway with the online schooling, June. Eating healthy helps keep the mind and body going...I balance it all out with my caffeine as well.... I need to go into the WW app and add my meals. I've already paper tracked the day. Will CBL

LaDonna you snuck in also LOL. I haven't tried Tombstone pizza. Hannaford's makes a good frozen pizza. We usually get the plain cheese as I prefer to add my own toppings. Will put that on the list. Your Easter meal sounds good. We are having ham, green bean casserole and asparagus for Carl...I'm not a fan.....Maybe a small salad. Have to see what veggies are available.

Ann, I like the idea of getting the cheese and adding own toppings. Its cooler here today. Lucy and I had a great walk earlier and then I brought her in and gave her a bath. Then I had one. She showed out in the bathtub. Doesn't like it. I wore her out and she's sleeping now. Your Easter meal also sounds good

Nice that it's down Ann June - I was able to get everything except paper towels and Cheryl's onion dip. I had to wait on line for 30 minutes but then was pretty alone in the store. The fish monger was kind enough to make up 4 stuffed flounder fillets - 2 each for me and Carol. I'll have one tonight and freeze the other for another time. Setting your alarm to ensure you eat healthy is a great plan and good you can get ahead on your work. Cathy - Please get some rest. Glad you have some good options. Enjoy that coffee MJ. I'm sure he is missing you as much as you miss in and all the others. LaDonna - Thanks for the tip. Next shopping trip next week I will look for it. When it comes to pizza, I'm very simple, just plain cheese for me. Easter dinner will be very simple - grilled filet mignon with caramelized onions, asparagus, risotto alla milanese, small salad w/ov and 7 Deadly Zins wine. We will start with a Kissed Caramel vodka martini and raw veggies with lite ranch. Wind is too strong for a bike ride, at least for now. Tonight will be the stuffed flounder, baked sweet potato and either spinach or broccoli.

Just got back from a hood walk...or should I say 'fly' as it's windy as heck out there. It started to sleet a little and then that stopped. Right now the wind has died down, but it comes in spurts. I will walk again...later We heard from the insurance company and unfortunately they are not responsible as no damage was done to the inside of the house, and there is not clause in there about sharing a septic system. Soooooooooo we will deal with the plumber and the HOA. Hopefully it will work in our favor, as no way do we have that kind of $$ for this type of bill. I am trying to NOT dwell on it...easier said than done! Susi glad you were able to accomplish a lot at the market. Your Easter dinner sounds great. Enjoy. LOL to wearing out miss Lucy, LaDonna Going to heat up some soup for lunch. I'm a little hungry. Later, gals. Please keep us in your prayers for a happy outcome....thanks
