Susi, I'm completely out of paper towels. I may could go to a store and get some but I've ordered some and they will hopefully be here soon.
Ann, sure will! bet that bill is a doozie. The wind here is whipping also and it is chilly!

LaDonna we haven't gotten the bill yet. When it does come I'm sure it will be complete sticker shock. I still have a few rolls of paper towels. I am using them sparingly. The wind chimes are comforting. I'll take it anyway I can

I'm sorry Ann. Hopefully the HOA will help out. Sending prayers your way. LaDonna - They never got a delivery of paper goods but fortunately Cheryl is a "hoarder" from way back and was loaded with paper towels. She kindly gave me a couple. This crazy wind has not died down and probably won't until tonight. Found a different exercise video on demand so that changed things up. Just watched last night's Top Chef and will now do some cleaning. My food prep from last week is still carrying me through.

I’m checking in this Good Friday. Our church video service is tonight at 7:00. Meals have been planned and will be tracked and I’m hydrating as I continue to move toward blue. Have a healthy day.

Mj Ha ha ha... funny to think of the dandelions getting a reprieve. Toots will be itchy to serve up some justice. Glad that you could "see" the program at Miss Milla'sschool. Have not even had a chance to think about Covid-19 today except for how school work absorbed my whole day. I take that back.. I said a prayer today for all. Will check out DeWine's presser online.
Oh ms,oh man.. we know first hand the challenge of cooking less! I do not know if this would help you,but I am not fighting it too hard right now. Instead, I just freeze the extra even if it is one serving. Gotta tell ya, we have reaped the rewards from this strategy. Yesterday we had all vegetable soup and ham. R made a sandwich, I didn't. Tonight we had l/o stuffed peppers, the rest of yesterday's vegetables, & instant potatoes. Very easy. Very tasty.
LaDonna Congrats on your WI at the dr's last week. Sure wish I could see the pup's antics. We bathed JoJo ina kiddie's pool outside inthe summer & downstairs in the winter. She was such a sweet dog.
Ann Well said. You are exactly right regarding times when personals are not inthe cards. Sigh... will keep my fingers crossed about the HOA. ((Hugs))
LaDonna& Ann Aldi's pizza is supposed to be very good.
Susi Again, I love your idea for Easter dinner. We only have small round steaks on hand though. Unless I have a LondonBroil or venisonsteaks that R buried Maybe there is a beef roast? I already stabbed off some ham that was maybe Easter dinner. So. . , we will see.

Thanks June. I appreciate the prayers. Nothing we can do till Monday as the office is closed.
I only got one walk in today. After the winds we got pouring rain. I kept myself busy and amused and did a little house walking.

This is the recipe I used to make DSs favorite cake today. It is so moist and chocolately! Definitely for special occasions only. I got it out of a Baptist cookbook I bought many years ago from a co-worker.
1 box Duncan Hines Golden butter cake mix 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup oil 3 eggs 1 small pkg of instant vanilla pudding 1 8oz container of sour cream 1 12oz bag of chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together except the chocolate chips and beat two minutes. Take half the bag of chocolate chips and put in a small electric chopper or a food processor and process until almost powdery - it's fine if little chunks remain. Stir this in the mix and the rest of the bag of the chocolate chips. Pour into a bundt pan that has been buttered and floured. Bake at 350 for an hour.

Bee Yea on the TB sliding down. Mine hasn't slid down too much since I am not as active. The recipe looks great.
Ann Good you could sleep after falling asleep on the couch.I got all except 2 things I ordered.Kenneth was able to go in and find substitutes since he also needed yogurt.Yea on the loss.
Susi I don't blame you for not wanting to go in for just 2 slices of pizza. It was a nice day to walk.My leg is hurting more today so we didn't go far and we skipped the stretches since I had already done them this morning. It was still cloudy when we walked but it's nice and sunny now.
June It went pretty well but Kenneth forgot to get cat litter so we do have to go back tomorrow but I also need to pick up refills so it won't be a wasted trip.HEB is closed for Easter but not Walmart. It's hard to believe some people are still getting snow and ice when we have been so warm lately.
Hi Cathy.

Ann, I’m sorry insurance won’t pay for the damage. LaDonna, I may make a similar cake for Bob’s May 1st birthday. I used to bake cakes all the time.

June Good for you planning to eat healthy.
MJ I hope you enjoyed the online presentation.
LaDonna Congrats on being down at the Dr's office last time.I won't do curbside every time but it was nice that Kenneth didn't need much.I have another scheduled for next Wednesday although we need to go Monday so I will see how that works.Your Easter meal sounds good.I doubt we will do anything different since it's just us.LOL on Lucy not liking the bath.Scooter never does like it either.
Susi I'm glad you didn't have to wait too long at the store and it was pretty much empty.Your Easter dinner sounds good also.
Ann I'm sorry insurance isn't paying for the water problem.Prayers it will work in your favor.
LaDonna The cake sounds wonderful.
After we left HEB we went out to pick up a face mask a lady was making for free that I found on our Next Door app and this afternoon a lady at church texted me that she had 2 masks for Kenneth and I so we picked them up.I don't know if it was just for today since the face mask order was mandated and I think HEB probably hired them but a police officer was outside making sure everyone that went in had a face mask or I guess they didn't get in.I don't believe anyone mentioned Walmart having any police so I'm sure HEB was wanting to protect their employees.
7 out of the last 8 confirmed cases in our county in the last 2 days came from our little town for a total of 12 from our town out of 26 confirmed cases for the county.PT told me someone had a party in Elgin and he was asymptomatic and he was guessing all the confirmed cases came from that party since the party giver was confirmed later with the virus.I wish people would wake up and not think that our rural areas are immune to everything.Sorry for the rant.
