Ann enjoy the walk and chat with your friend. I try to call someone every day. Yesterday all three children called me which made me feel very good. Continuing to KOKO. In the afternoon we have two curbside pickups, the Easter dinner and an ice cream order. Both locations are close to home. Iām going to cut roses to bring inside the house. It will be 73 so great weather for walks and gardening. Dinner will be steak, small baked potatoes and salads.

š· š„š£š¤ š· šš„š š· Happy Day Before Easter š· š„š£š¤ š· šš„š š·
My friend is going shopping for us today. I am looking forward to fresh tomatoes. It is interesting that my friend is more concerned about us than say my husband's (and mine, I guess) nieces and nephews. Today I will eat healthy foods and write them down. I also think I might shower and get dressed and not meet my friend in pajamas and a robe...again Paper Towels...don't usually use them. We use the cloth ones but can see why in the covid-19 era a paper towel might be safer...though...
ANN: I see laundry in my future. Snickers? I now want one! Your leisurely shower kind of makes me want to go upstairs and take one myself! I hope the bill for the plumber will be figured out without too much damage to your bank account!
LADOONNA: Happy birthday to your son! I looked at the rice recipe and it does look tasty. The mjudra we make here uses oil to toast the onions and they go into a pot with lentils and rice or bulgur so this reminded me a bit of that...though yours has more flavor and BUTTER I wonder what makes some dogs like a bath and others not and why some will let a blow dryer dry them and other dogs howl at the sound of one. The cake sounds delicious! Do you frost it?
AUDREY: The pizza sounds tasty. Might have to make some this week. I took 9 months of cake decorating classes when stuck in the USA after the airport in Beirut closed for a period of time. It was also while I was doing WW the first time and I gave away a LOT of cakes!
BEE Your soup sounds good...with the toasted cheese sandwich. The pork chop recipe sounds like it would have good flavor. I bet you could do the same recipe with chicken.
JUNE: Hoping we won't have hail or a freeze since hubby has planted most of the garden or much of it. Your fresh vegetables sound good! You sound so busy! Dealing with online courses sounds challenging. I hope that this will all be just a memory in a year (or by August)
BECKY: Sorry you have to go back for kitty litter...hope you have enough for now. It sounds like your county residents may be having a wake-up call about the virus...so sad so many are getting it and also dying! Stay safe!
MJ: Cutting down on food amount when going from more than two to only one or two is a challenge! Good luck with your meal planning.
SUSI: Your menus sound divine! I don't always find lipton soup mix in a package to make onion dip. If you can find that and some sour cream or Greek yogurt (2cups worth) you can make your own dip OR you can use dry onions and beef bouillon cubes and get the same thing. I make it with labne (condensed yogurt and a bit of regular yogurt and use the packaged onion soup mix if it is in the country or the dry onion and bouillon cube)
PAM: Good to hear from you
OKAY....time to go upstairs, take a shower (if the water is hot) and put real clothes on. The neckline of my hair is iffy at best...not sure if I trust my husband with scissors or not!

Enjoy the day Ann Good morning June Glad all your children have been talking to you. What wonderful weather to enjoy Audrey! I make caramelized onions often Cathy and can mix them with Greek yogurt for a yummy onion dip. I actually make a low fat ranch dip that is only 1 SP per 2 tbs. Not sure what today will hold. It's cold but the wind has finally stopped so perhaps the bike will be possible. I cleaned and disinfected thoroughly yesterday but still need to do the floors. I miss my cleaning service! The master closet needs attention. Cheryl is home and getting settled in. I'm so happy for her.

Audrey Awwwww. . .so sweet that you heard from all your children in one day. Fresh flowers are a lovely treat for yourself. Last Saturday I picked a huge bunch of daffodils out of my oldest sister's flower beds. We both enjoyed seeing them.
Becky Very glad that you have cloth masks to wear as required. Thank you for being as safe as you can be despite the actions of other locals. My head hurts when I hear of parties like that.
Cathy Will join you w/ "get dressed" goal for today. I have been in pjs the better part of the last day and a half b/c of school work. We have lots of dish towels so ai rarely buy paper towels. But I did pick up a 6 pack last week b/c of the Covid-19.
Yes, I was very busy school work. At least Blackboard adds all the points to date for me! Lots of extra work this week b/c of things I did to support students. Plus this week I had an optional make up inadditional to theregular lesson/paper. I was still committed though to being a lesson ahead with the next one in at least the second draft stage andthe one behind in a first draft or outline. The upshot isthat I did it. And we only have 3 more weeks of classes left plus finals. '

Susi You make amazing dishes with those carmelized onions! Hope that you can take a pleasant bike ride with Carol today.
Yay for Cheryl! She has to be over the moon to be "home."
I can imagine that you could get very accustomed to a cleaning service..

Love your weather Cathy nice that your friend will shop for you. LOL to not meeting her in the PJ's and robe Thanks also hoping that HOA pays for all or at least some of the damages! Susi so happy Cheryl is home. Hope she continues to do well. Just love caramelized onions. I just finished my Clorox wipe down. I do it first thing in the morning and several times during the day as I see fit. June happy classes are going well for you. Only three weeks left and you are 'home free'. Ann, sounds like a good plan.
Audrey, sounds like a very good plan. Enjoy the dinner and the ice cream.
Cathy, yes, chicken can be subbed. Great that your friend is shopping for you. Just think of it as her mission, not theirs.
Susi, here in the south we caramelize onions a lot. My son used to make his own onion dip. It was soooo good. Glad Cheryl is home.
June, sounds like you have been extremely busy. Remember to take some time for you.
I have decided that the only thing I am doing today is cooking some green peas with boiled eggs in them. It's a Cajun dish that is delicious, especially the next day.
I will be AWARE, WILLING and ABLE as I go forth to conquer this day.
DDIL sent me some cuttings from the yellow Christmas cactus, so I have to pot them.

Today will be getting back on track. I never got around to planting yesterday so I'll get to that today after it warms up some. There was frost on the roof this morning. Guess this should be the cool snap before Easter but who knows with the crazy SC weather. A walk will also be part of my day and some homestead chores.
Ann, I also slept well. Hope you find your friend well today.
June, love the walkie talkie reference LOL Three weeks will fly by! Will you be teaching summer classes?
Audrey, I know you love talking to the kids. hope the pick ups go smoothly.
Cathy, the cake does not need any frosting. It is so chocolatey and gooey. The outside layer is almost the consistency of a chocolate chip cookie while the inside is super moist. Glad you are getting a grocery order today...enjoy!
Susi, I've not missed my cleaning person as much as I thought I would. I'm sure there will come a day when I will want to resume with help. So happy for Cheryl.

Just finished having coffee breakfast and tracking my day. Now to stick to it In a bit we'll head out pick up the mail and take a hood walk. It's on the chilly side here also...but with little wind and plenty of sunshine and no rain, I'll take it. I had a nice long chat with my friend. It was nice catching up. I also texted my hairdresser and wished her a Happy Easter. Really looking forward to having my hair taken care of LOL. Bee great goals and I shall join you. Also add me to never hearing about peas and eggs. How nice of DDIL to send you yellow Christmas Cactus. Happy potting LaDonna we also had a little frost on our front lawn when I woke up this morning. This weather surely is crazy all over. Enjoy your chores and walks. Time to finish a few more things online before heading out. Later

Good morning
Ann Always good to connect w/ friends, but especially so right now. Nippy here. But I hope that we all get out for a walk. Clear skies beckon...
Ha ha ha. . . I saw a picture of a R's former co-worker w/ his kiddos and did not recognize him. His hair was longer, scruffy & wavy, he had some facial hair, and was wearing glasses. Those stylists are going to have their hands full!
Bee Your Cajun cooking always sounds intriguing. Somehow eggs & peas reminds me of those ingredients in fried rice. Can not wait to see a future picture of your Xmas cactus when it blooms. Was a crazy week. Extra work that I took on to try to help students compounded w/ tasks set by Provost. There was some "me" time at the beginning of the week. š¦
