Good morning everyone!
Happy St Paddy's Day - so happy to be working from home on this chilly Florida morning
Diocese has given a pass to Catholics by allowing them to eat corned beef today during Lent.
We are having our St Patrick's Day dinner on Sunday
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face and
May God hold you in the palm of his hand,
A half hour before the devil knows your dead.

Good morning, dina, thanks for the start! We never honored St Patrick when I was growing up (obviously not Catholic, LOL) but living in Boston is definitely an initiation! We don't have any special plans, but who know what J will find at church today. Today is my last stretching class in a bit, I've enjoyed it but am pretty committed to a less scheduled life in the coming months, so will have to stretch at home! If anyone is interested I do love the program, there are PBS specials by Miranda Edmonde-White or google Classical Stretch which used to be the name when I discovered it. I have the DVR set to watch Michigan play some basketball this afternoon and can head into Vienna on my photo editing while I do. It has been such a treat to relive that trip. I had a great time in Cambridge yesterday and the pavement had been cleared enough to get 10,000 steps; I can't remember when I accomplished that and it was a treat. Have a good OP weekend!

Good morning. Nothing special on tap today - just a regular day at work. Tomorrow my brother is having a St Patrick's Day party so I'll be going there. My hair stylist is from Ireland but has lived in Boston for many years. She always tells me how different it is in Boston vs. Ireland. No green beer or corned beef over there! ksbruns glad you got your steps in yesterday and avoided any ice! TGIF everybody!

Stopping by to say good morning before I go to the Kitchen to fix 11 pounds of corned beef, 10 pounds of potatoes, 5 pounds of carrots , cabbage and onions. The family is coming for dinner and they love corned beef. When the twins made their first communion the teacher wanted them to know our was a special meal and she sent home a homework assignment for the mom's to make the kids favorite dinner. And you forwarded it, they chose corned beef! Now we have introduced the in law children to corned beef and they love it. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Pat's to all! I think we all have a little Irish in us. I know I do.
I had a fun day with DD and the grands yesterday at the mall. I bought the kids new shoes and clothes for spring/summer so they should be set. DD was so appreciative as DSIL starts a new job soon and money will be tight for awhile. I'm glad I am able to help out. Today, DD is treating me by taking us to see "Beauty and the Beast". I remember taking her to the original Disney movie back in the 90s. So, the Disney tradition continues!
Have a great day. TGIF!!

I said you know your old when your more excited about the corned beef and cabbage than the drinking. I'm old! There will be whiskey involved, but lots of corned beef and cabbage. None of my staff eat it. I love it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Is everyone wearing green? I've got my moss green Inis Crafts Irish cable knit sweater on, and my emerald birthstone ring, and my Irish smile. How fun, I recently got the results of my DNA test from familytreedna.com - it shows I am 89% Irish, so I'm fit to step dance today.

No corned beef for me today because we ate ours last week because I just couldn't wait. Good thing I made it before I re-joined WW because corned beef leftovers always turn into Reuben sandwiches the next day and that would have put we way over my daily points lol. Stepped on the scale this morning and I am already down 1 1/2 pounds in three days. Gotta resist the urge to weigh in until the one week mark because I know that changes daily but I just couldn't help myself this morning haha. Everyone stay safe today!

Happy St Paddy's Day.
I must be the only person who does not like corned beef & cabbage. I,love cabbage, can eat a cold cb sandwich if forced to but the whole boiled dinner thing is not appealing to me. Now Irish whiskey is another story!
Cold but sunny today. It's still difficult to get around after the snow. You have to creep around the intersections because the snow is piled so high you can't see anyone coming. Parking lots look like the Alps, lol. Time to,load this stuff up on trucks & haul it outta here.
No,plans for,the weekend. Just more r&r.

I'll admit that I'm wearing orange today. Oh well!
I always loved my mom's corned beef and cabbage on St. Patty's day. Mom was 25% Irish.
Last night hubby and I had a wonderful time at a concert. We saw a famous string quartet perform Beethoven string quartets, including the Grosse Fuge. It was wonderful!
