Good to see Michigan is decreasing in cases but concerned about a rise in those statistics because of so many demonstrations here in our state. People were wearing masks but there were a number not wearing them. No social distancing as crowds were packed together. We watched the demonstrations and people interviewed said the march was more important to then the virus! So we will see in a couple weeks what happens.
Fullmahina, thanks for posting this!

Here in Calif, 123K total cases, rising (but more testing all the time, so bound to go up), 4484 deaths. A more informative number would be number of hospitalizations, but that is harder to find.

I couldn't get the search by state/county to work. I put in my state and county and hit enter and nothing happened. How did you guys get it to work?
None of the interactive part seems to be working on my computer.

bbbearsmom, there are any number of sites with the information. I just googled Calif covid until I found what I wanted. Also the Johns Hopkins site is the most current.

fullmahina, I'm in Connecticut. I played with the site more and as I said it wasn't interactive for me. I tried to find the site by going to the New York Times online but couldn't find it so I used your link again.

Can you go to your state's website. I check coronavirus.ohio.gov then go to the dashboard - current trends. They tell us the most important numbers are hospitalizations and ICU admission.

I went to my state's (Connecticut) website and: Positive Cases -- 43,239; Tests Reported -- 279,459; Hospitalized -- 373; Deaths -- 4,007.
In my city of 85,000 today's numbers were: Positive Cases -- 2,032; Deaths -- 135 (72 (80+); 36 (70-79); 16 (60-69); 5 (50-59); 2 (40-49); 3 (30-39); 1 (20-29))

fullmahina , Thanks, that works great. How did you get there? At the top of the original page there is an area that says "World Country USA States NYC" and you click on "States" and a dropdown list shows up with all the state names on it. Maybe you have popups disabled? Not sure why it doesn't work for you.
