surfgirl , It's all about the balance. Happy belated bday You done good Thanks Ann, it wasn't my birthday though, I overloaded on amazing pizza because my husband wanted that as his bday dinner. And to be honest, I think it'll be mine too as we never have real pizza and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

WI today and I wasn't sure what would happen after last Sunday's Great Pizza & Brownie Birthday Debacle, but I tried hard to compensate for that by eating under my DPs for this week and it worked! I lost 1.2, so yeah for actually sticking to compensating for overeating one day. I love that by following the program and using the extra points for what we really want we CAN eat pizza and brownies (in moderation) and still lose/maintain! It sounds like the meal was worth every point!

Saturday July 11 scale dropped 1.5 back below my goal @ 123.7 Not fretting as I know it's simply a fluctuation!

Saturday 153.4 - Down .8 I didn’t know the numbers could go that low. I thought it was broken!!!!! I guess last night’s wine didn’t register yet. I’ll take it. 😊 Happy for you cathygeha, ! Wish I had some of that pizza surfgirl, !

Saturday 153.4 - Down .8 I didn’t know the numbers could go that low. I thought it was broken!!!!! I guess last night’s wine didn’t register yet. I’ll take it. 😊 Sometimes food/drink we have shows up immediately and sometimes it plays mind games and waits a day or so. Wine can be a diuretic so perhaps that is it? BUT if you were within points...it may have jostled things a bit.

Yes, I will mostly be down the next day if I have wine, no matter what the calorie count. And if I'm having wine it's usually a pretty high number of calories.
We have to be able to have what we might regard as forbidden foods on occasion. This way of life is not a punishment; it's a balancing act that we each have to find for ourselves.

I'm a HUGE fan of balancing.....nothing is off limits...and I no longer eat round foods that I crave. Works for me

Thanks for your suggestion lani,. I enjoyed my Friday wine, sans chips & pretzels. I had to make a choice. 😉 Whatever balance means when it comes to food/drink, & exercise; that’s what I’m headed toward. This way I get to choose what that will look like if I want to maintain this level of health and happiness. Unless there’s a medical restriction, I plan to enjoy it all. 😁 Yayyyy @ann2953, no limit to my choices!!! Yummmmm
