I was doing the Zoom meetings regularly. It was our same meeting group with our same excellent leader. It was good to see everybody and we still had our group feeling and our good group dynamics. I can tell from what you all are saying that we had a rare and precious experience.
I have been to several in-person meetings. We were told that the reservations would be open on Sunday for the following week. Not seven days in advance of the meeting we want to attend, but Sunday of the week we want to attend. The in-person meetings have been sparsely attended, with vacant chairs. With chairs spaced 6 ft apart, the room holds 15 participants. At 9:30 am on Wednesday, we went from over 40 attendees to less than 15 now. The leader said that she did not have enough advance reservations to fill the chairs.
The time of our pre-covid in-person meetings, the time of our Zoom meetings, and the time of the post-covid in-person meetings are all the same: 9:30 am on Wednesday. The leader for pre-covid, Zoom, and post-covid are all the same. The pre-covid and Zoom meetings had pretty much the same group of attendees. However, the post-covid in-person meetings are picking up people from other pre-covid meeting time slots. We don't have our same familiar group, and the group dynamcis, group support and group love is not the same. I think I will go to the in-person meeting this week as it is the first weigh-in of August, and then go back to Zoom. I want to see my meeting friends! The only drawback will be that the Zoom leader will be different. Our excellent familiar leader that we have been with for years can't do both Zoom and in-person simultaneously.

I keep intending to go to Zoom meetings but haven't done so yet. Well, I went to one but I didn't want to be on camera for it and they gave me such a hard time I left. They are definitely not all that way, thankfully. This page that was posted earlier has some good meeting suggestions. I really liked Quinnโs meetings (listed at bottom) www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/kickstart/coaches
