Good Morning,
Avatar: This is s different one, same look, less roundish, scrollish looking. This one is drawn from tutorial from Book of Kells, Ireland.
Off to a better start here this morning. Heinous kitchen is reclaimed, made muffins for breakfast, smells good, rolled the trash bins in, MB bed is made. I am preparing to finish off all photography and posting of remaining items, will pick up card order today hopefully, fold package that stuff so it's ready, get one more needed thing to do these Tiki Coasters and get going on it.
I walked yesterday, will get it in again today, rain or shine.
DH and I went through a floor plan in a spreadsheet he made for the downstairs in new house, it will look good. We definitely will be editing, CB'in furniture from our lives!
More later, hope your day is off to a good start.

Z, Such a great idea to have a floor plan and work toward a common goal. This is something for me to remember (the part about including DH) since I worry about having to downsize and the need to be realistic. The avatar patterns are interesting. I did see this Book on a trip to Ireland. This is OT, my Irish sweaters of which I have a lot have patterns that mean certain things. I like these sweaters since I can get away with not wearing a coat. Great job reclaiming the K!
Have you watched Sell this House! It's on 266 if you have Directv. I think it is interesting since I am always trying to get mine ready to sell knowing that one day we may do that and I sure don't want a mountain of items to have to take care of. Also many people have said that after they got their house ready to sell they didn't want to because they liked it so much again. Right now I am still working on getting those few screens replaced/repaired and the slider done but just don't seem to be able to get them to actually do the work. I am going to call again tomorrow. Also thinking of having some more electrical work done. I'd like to get a plug outside near where I want to put the heated bird bath.
I ran errands today and came home before I got them all done because I wanted to skip having a really long day so I will probably go again tomorrow to finish up. The weather has improved tremendously and now it seems like we are having a tropical heat wave since when I got home it was in the low 40s.
Hope you are having a great evening!!!

Wednesday Accomplishments: - More errands in town - Complicated HD return completed
- Got most things put away - Called about the slider door and was told that maybe it will arrive before Thanksgiving.
- Did all the usual dog items. The snow melted enough so that I could start running them again. -Also fed the birds of which there are so many that boggles my brain sometimes. There is also a noise pollution situation when a massive quantity of them get in the Tahoe bush and sing. I just love it when they fly all around. This is a gift from Universe to me since it makes me happy just to have so many in my life. I am a greenie but never talk about it. So glad to have kept the pollinators going through all the drought years and especially this year when they had no food whatsoever and there habitat was destroyed and then they showed up for me to help them.
- Helped DH push his quad into the garage so that the battery could be charged.
Those were the scintillating highlights of my day.

Good Evening,
I'm glad you're enjoying the birds!
I am having strange days. Reclaimed kitchen this morning, again. Returned the mailers I'd bought from Amazon, I ordered the wrong size...duh. I reordered the correct size from different company, they were cheaper this way, ..I think even with shipping. Picked up my Celtic Cross Card orders last night, they look great.
New House: Drove to Mutual Materials to look at cultured stone styles and colors. OVerwhelming at first but then I start to realize what my preferences are and why the more I look. First off, I like it all, it's all cool. But I tend to be drawn more to the type that space between the stones and faux grout/chink lines rather than what is stacked, or dry stacked look. I also learned some terminology to the typical layouts. I will go back tomorrow and ask about the stacking vs. the flat look with grout lines, And I did find a good picture, e-mailed to myself to show what I liked the look of.
Home: DS moving forward with the Air Force situation. He will do something in Mid March and then proceed immediately from that to basic training in Texas. DD..challenges, editing.
Got my walk in today, ate well.

Thursday - Not much went on. Had to go to town to do work in the office so that was about it for me today. It is lovely weather here now that I am used to the temps being in the 40's in the afternoon. Z, Good luck selecting the cultured stone!!!
Friday - I cleaned in the K, vac'd & dusted etc. Also did the stove top and sink. Put together the heated birdbath which took a long time and I finally had to enlist DH to help. DBIL was here doing a fixit project so that was mostly on the agenda. It is raining! which may turn into snow later.
Hope you are having a great weekend!!!

Good Evening,
New House: Returned to Mutual Materials, learned even more about layouts they offer on the boards, then the three or 4 differnt ways you can have each done, smoothed, slightly smoothed, rough and rougher still in the cultured stone and the more traditional look with grout lines vs.the stacked/dry stacked. For some reason, to me, though colors are same the dry stacked to me looks unfinished and jumpled, like someone forgot a step. If it's anything larger than the super skinny very linear looking stuff. So this is all clear in my mind and I do have the two layout preferences narrowed and two colors prioritized.
Home: Yesterday DH and I took care of bank stuff locally, I did the Mutual materials thing, got some shipping tape, a couple more prints and a flat, shorter bristled brush to apply ink to my stencil numbers. I got gas, went to Costco, got dinner stuff. TOnight I made chicken noodle soup with the left over rotisserie chicken.
Craft: I went ahead and made 5 more sets, photo'd and listed of the 12 days tags after trying the brush to do the ink for the numbers with the stencil THis worked great, much less messy. I feel sort of bad for those people that bought the first 4 sets I posted (though there were close up photos and full disclosure..lol because these 5 sets are much neater, but they bought them anyway!) Now that I've done that, got those Celtic Cards made, I feel it's time to clean up and put away. I must do the painted Tiki Coaster sets I"ve have two people order 4 sets total of these from me, that's $100.00 worth of stuff so a very big order for me. I must start these in the morning, I think I could finish them by Sunday night if I'm diligent! Also, someone ordered two sets of my Christmas Quilt cards, this was exciting. Also I'm not sure I mentioned someone bought a set of the 12 Days of Christmas Cards, that's a $24.00 set (all my cards equate to $2.00 each, just depends how many in the pack). SO I think the Etsy is going well over all.
Thanks for listening as always. Have you ever watched "Grand Designs" on Netflix? It's major, huge, expensive house builds in the UK. Fascinating. I just watched these guys redo a Victorian water tower in London to live in.
Hope your day has been good. TOmorrow I will have some "Tiki Talk" Meaning, I will have begun this process, no more putting off!

Good Late AFternoon,
Things are going well. I got up early this morning and did some kitchen reclaiming and started the DW. Then as I was folding cards, I realized the printer had printed half the order on full/normal color and half on the setting I actually asked for, which they have now named after me...lol, which was lighter. Now I needed these fixed ASAP, because I've listed those cards and I needed 5 normal sets ready to go, so I took care of that. I got my walk in after that. Then Someone ordered a set of three ornaments for $24.00, this was also exciting, so I shipped that. It is very nice having the shipping supplies I need at the ready to take care of these things. Then.....drumrolll.....I have started the TIki coaster custom orders. Now that I'm going on it, I'm unsure why I was procrastinating, maybe cause it's so many, but they are fun designs and I'm looking forward to the colorful painting part. They are prepped painted base coat, cork bases glued and I have all the designs transferred. I will get back to it shortly.
Hope your day has gone well.
Sunday: -day is going well. I got my walk in. I have half of the TIki Coasters (there are 16 total, black line painted, going back to it now.

Saturday - Mostly housework. Sunday - Mostly pine needle raking. A huge job. DH helped which reduced my raking by two days. Tomorrow more of the same but inside the yard that goes around the house. The hole has an incredible amount of pine needle piles now. Glad you are enjoying your crafting!!!
Monday: Just the loveliest day imaginable today!!! I spent the day outside and managed to get some painting done which I thought would have to be put off until next spring. Raked.... Got the rest of the enclosures for the bushes installed. 18,288 Steps. Supposed to be another lovely day tomorrow so I am going to spend the day outside again in my shirt sleeves. Doing my happy dance!!!

Wow, sounds like you're having incredible weather for this time of year! I'm glad you're enjoying, enjoying your chores in shirt sleeves and getting all those steps in! Woo hoo!
Craft/Etsy: -I spent time researching tax, state sales tax, remittance in regard to Etsy, then I filed my state Dept. of Revenue (late..I will not let this happen again, I had to pay a $5.00 late charge to remit 10 cents...OMG!!!!...lol. However the guy said I could file a claim, but but the fine print on that said I would have even more late fees if my claim was denied...lol. SO I was like, um, it's bad enough already for ten cents, I'm just paying the $5.00! I printed out things from Etsy, and read, followed directions on how to print reports, and now I really understand what I'm doing now in regard to my state for the sales tax and my own DOR related stuff, so I feel really good about this cause I was a bit "head in the sand" and now I feel relieved! -I'm excited, someone I know placed a huge order (for me) and I've had 2 strangers order multiple card packs/variety, and lots of likes, and such, people are probably browsing a lot more for Christmas shopping. SO this is all very fun! ALso I got more ideas for art, I must write down in my notebook!. Now if some of these people would leave reviews for their orders, that would be really, really good! And someone just ordered one of my wood slice ornaments! -found my paperwork so I could log into craft bank account, and did that, cause I needed to research a deposit. -DOR...the Dept. of Revenue has been so helpful everytime I call them over the years, they just help, help, help and are so nice walking me through carp!
Avatar: These are the antiqued tags, with antiqued cut square art glued to them that was also printed with a grayish/aged look. I won't post all of these, this is jsut to give you idea what the sets look like. I love making gift tags. I'm excited to make more types next year!
Home: -took care of renewing some memberships -trashes to curb -took care of ordering some DD's senior year carp -dropped off two packages at post office, dropped job off at printer, brought lunch home for DD -got my walk in, must find my rain pants!!!
New House: -DH and I decided to not add a second fireplace insert to our basement. And we added a faux beam to our vaulted ceiling upstairs. We got an updated list from the builder about our costs, additions/subtractions for the first meeting and we ended up actually under what we thought we'd be so this was awesome! We have a note in asking when do we hear back from the main store where we did all flooring, tile, countertop, backsplash carp and the cabinetry place, in regard how we came in in relation to the allowance numbers. We know there will be overages, but just want the numbers, it's been over a week. -DH did a spread sheet with moveable little cubes in Excell and that has been very cool as we did a layout of the living areas upstairs and down, this is helping us edit furniture placement.
Weight: I have been maintaining, but overall, I'm still down 26 pounds since April! Woohoo!. My mini goal is to hit 30 by the end of this month! Must keep up with the activity and mindful of food intake.
Now, I'm headed back to the den for more Tiki Painting. THe house is a disaster somewhat..but I must get these Tikis done so they can dry and cure! TIki update: All black lined painted, excess white graphit transfer paper marks removed, eyes and mouths painted in. Teeth next on all, then colors. DH is being very understanding about the mess. It will all come to order soon!

Z, Those tags turned out so cute!!! I just love reading about all the wonderful things you have learned and the crafting you have done--topping it off by getting on Etsy! Congrats! on your streaks. Monday accomplishments for me: The wind decided to create an epic dust storm so I had to work in the house today. The power was out long enough for me to start getting all the necessary supplies out of storage and then came back on when I had all of that organized. Otherwise, I just puttered around cleaning and doing miscellaneous homemaking chores. Hope you are having a great evening!!!
Tuesday Accomplishments:
I spent the day working on a long list of items that really don't take all that long. Highlights:
-The quad repairman came to fix the green quad and I tried again to get him to see the point that mine should be repaired. I think I finally got through to him without sacrificing my friendly demeanor.
- The power has been going off regularly the last couple of days so I had DH figure out the two new heaters I bought for these events which was successful. Also bought two carbon minoxide detectors to install. We are all electric but these heaters aren't - Did a bunch of small To Dos and have more to get done. Hand washed two decorative pillow covers that said they were 100% polyester. Ordered a large case for my laptop. Batteries changed in a TV remote, battery installed in something else. Got the recycle to the trash can for these items. Changed the water in the dogs swimming pool. More done but I will skip listing them.
- Reorganized the area where I keep the supplies for power outages so that they are easy to get to. Also ordered two led lanterns that will brighten up more areas. The power has become a problem because of the wildfires and major wind storms so it is rather like it used to be years ago. I have to install the rotary phone so that I can call the power company after 1/2 hour of outrage to make sure that it is not just us, or just our street or..... since one time it was just us. This is a very country power co-op but has gotten much better since it became affiliated with PG &E.
More items like this tomorrow until I wipe everyone off my list. I mean business!!!

You got lots done yesterday. I actually need to go to HD and get two new battery operated Carbon Monoxide detector, ours died.
Yesterday, not much in the way of anything except getting through these Tikis. Whoa they take a looooong time to paint. I painted ALL day with minimal breaks. THey are fun, cute to look at but my oh my. So I think my friend decided she only wanted two, and my Aunt ordered a set also, which leaves me with one set left over. I knew this might be the case. I will list the other set for sale in the new year, after my Aunt has given her set to her son and DIL who are Tiki Maniacs. when I list the left over set. I'm going to charge a lot for them and I dont' care if anyone buys them or not, they really are labor intensive. But I also have the idea, which I will write down that I'm interested in coming up with individually hand painted coaster designs. There is something encouraging about trying art when you know it only has to fill a small area. Also doing things with the lining, black or maybe other colors, does create a very graphic fun look to things and people would pay more for a one off, whereas a whole set can be too much and too many. So, I finished the all the Tiki people and this morning I will be able to finish off the flowers, they are tiny, but there are 160 of them...lol. Then I can seal them. Then:
ToDos: -Finish tiki flowers -back car out, get Halloween Totes down, put away. I may get out my big Christmas Tote down while I do this and get my big Christmas behind the sink decoration down. -Reclaim kitchen -work on MB -put away the kitchen entry way photo stuff -go to grocery store, get food, Thanksgiving Dinner list items -walk
This list should be do-able

Z, The tags are so cute! Hope you got your ToDos done. Thursday - I did couple of loads of laundry, picked up the house and did the usual items to make it look great again. I wanted to work on my long list of items but had to work on the pine needles again today. The Epic Wind Storm blew 60-80 mph so more needles dropped and I must be vigilant about this situation for wildfire EMP. Speaking of that five wildfires got started during the Epic Wind Storm two of which were about 15 miles from me in different directions so both of these could easily now reach my valley depending on which way the wind blows. Just a reminder to me to take this deadly situation seriously. Fortunately it rained significantly so most of these fires were put out. It took every ounce of self discipline I have to get me to go out there and rake for hours in cloudy 40 degree weather especially since I just raked last weekend which was a huge job. Thank goodness DH helped with that chore.
Tomorrow I am going to have to run errands otherwise I will run into Thanksgiving Christmas shoppers if I put it off.
Hope you are having fun crafting!!!

Wow, I'm' glad those fires are under control!! THat is CRAZY winds! I hope it settles down for you.
Mixed up Tadas" -Tiki painting done! This all took much longer than I anticipated! It was 16 coasters but they all had to be trasferred, black lined painted then 5-7 different colors applied to all the little parts, 10 tiny flowers per coaster = 160 flowers, etc. whew! -several New house e-mails taken care of, read, responded to, questions asked. -got my walk in -Dh made grocery list, wanted me to get the free turkey for spending x amount of dollars, so I went and did that. I got two shopping carts full of stuff and the free turkey. -got most of it put away appropriately. DH says some really old, bad crackers in the pantry, AFTER I put everything away in the pantry, which is sort of full. I said, so there's a box of crackers gone bad behind all the stuff I just put away? Granted the house is disaster right now, but I get now help most of the time. If something is bad, empty, broken THROW IT AWAY! Why is it talked about and left where it is taking up space, waiting for me to deal with it? I dont' even eat those crackers. Rant over. -Then DH and did a zoom meeting.
Tomorrow I will get up early and do some of the rest of my "Todos" , try to go to Costco, I may have to wait in line, My mom needs something from there, then I'm planning on going and spending one night with her tomorrow night and will return on Saturday, when I will proceed with house cleaning in earnest, no crafting anymore, I'm cleaning, getting ready for Thanksgiving and then will be ready to decorate for Christmas! It is happening!

Z, Thanks so much for posting the Rant. It seems so petty to others but they just don't get the amount of things we don't mention. I have some whoppers I could talk about LOL--sort of.... Friday: Errand day for me today. I left early and had a plan for dealing with the day. I went to my most difficult store first and limited my number of errands so that I had plenty of time to get things put away without getting exhausted, leaving half of it in the car on and on. Hooray!
Saturday: More raking.... I bought a better leaf blower so this will help in the future when I have large batches of pine needles and leaves. Right now I am just doing mop up of what is remaining.

Hello!
Leaf blowing is an art! I'm sort us shocked a leaf blower would successfuly blow pine needles at all? Keep me posted how it works out!.
Friday I awoke to a clogged kitchen sink and grossness projectile spewing from dishwasher air gap when the disposal was running. I can't recall what mentioned, what not, etc. we recently had the sink, faucet, and disposal replaced with all NEW! They had to come back once already cause connection was leaking below the sink was not done properly. Then this, which I thought was related to the sink, so when they told me someone could come MOnday, I was like, "No, no, no! Someone WILL come today!" Well it turned out to not be necessarily related to the new stuff (but think it was, I've never had a clogged sink in this house, even with the OLD disposale, which makes me think the NEW disposal...not so hot. Anyway, they came, they fixed, DH could not help facilitate this cause he's on meeting calls all day, and so all this threw my whole morning off schedule for what I wanted to get done. Thankfully the plumber only charged for one hour of time (he was here two, why they did this, I don't know, I was not behaving badly, I promise, but I was thankful for that) Now, I believe becaues we had NEW disposal more than usual was being put down it, which I NEVER do regardless. SO that was put a stop to as well.
I did make it to COstco to get things MOm wanted, went to her house, we went to the bank to take care of paperwork together, I did grocery errands for her, helped get her bedskirt back onto her bed, we played games and had a nice time. I Got home later than planned last night.
Today Tadas: -Washed a HUGE amount of handwash left over I couldnt' get to before the sink debacle Friday -Unloaded DW, reloaded, Ran it -Halloween Cookie Cutter away! -Warming Taco Soup for the days part of meals to get it out of the fridge, -fed my sour dough starter -rotated the thawing turkey -fixed some card files and e-mailed the print shop, I'm supposed to pick up an order there today, so I can figure this out at the same time.
I"m going to get my walk in now before it rains or get's dark, then I will put the Halloween Decorations away in the garage and get down/out the big Christmas tote while at it for the big Christmas thing that does behind sink in kitchen.
Etsy: SOmeone bought a Celtic Cross Ornament! Yay! I had my first sale from a internet search of the Christmas Quilt Cards ( have to pay Etsy more commission on these types of sales cause they facilitate them somehow) and I'm getting good reviews from a few non friend/family people.
Craft: Those Tikis are done, done, done! I have second coat of sealer on them, one more to go and I will be able to mail, deliver, collect payment on those which will be about $70.00 (I undercharged my Aunt and my Friend for these...oh well...Merry Christmas!...haha)
That's it for now.
Hope your day is off to a good start.
