Just put on Fox to see how they are handling it: even Karl Rove liked Biden's speech and he actually seemed moved by Kamala's historic election. There's hope for us all yet.

Reading posts from people that were "she lost, suck it up losers" last time, crying this time. I won't gloat or make fun of them, because we were there last time. (But, Hillary did win the popular vote - truthfully the election WAS stolen from her.)

lani, Karl Rove does a column in the Wall Street Journal every Thursday. I hardly ever read it but when I do he is usually being sensible.

lani , Karl Rove does a column in the Wall Street Journal every Thursday. I hardly ever read it but when I do he is usually being sensible. I don't know if I would go that far. I subscribe to WSJ and all their editiorials are slanted to the far right. However, the straight reporting is accurate. Newt Gingrich is spinning the stolen election line. He knows better. What is wrong with these people? I know, they are hell bent on keeping power no matter if our government is dismantled in the process. Also, I fear Republicans will add to their minority rule by virtue of the census. So many were left uncounted. More redistricting will follow.

lani, Yes, their editorial page is very much slanted right but Karl Rove sometimes has something worth listening to. A judge just stopped (again) Trump's try to not have non-citizens counted on the census for the purpose of how many representatives a state gets. I'm sure he'll keep trying. Yes, redistricting is coming up which is why it is so bad we didn't take back some state legislatures.

DotRen, I'm trying to stay away from the news and all of the stories about going to court to challenge the vote counting because they upset me, but I read them like a moth going to a flame. What bothers me is what is said is just not true. Lindsey Graham is saying if Trump concedes the Republicans will never be able to win another election and voting in this country has to change. None of that is true, there is nothing wrong with the voting and there is nothing in the process keeping them from winning the next time. I'm just worried they'll find a judge they can pull over to their alternate universe.

Watching reports. Biden celebrators: I see about 90% wearing masks in the groups. Trump protestors: I see maybe 35% wearing masks.
So even in losing, he's being a super spreader. I can't see these same people wearing masks if Biden makes it a federal mandate, can you?

Such a simple message, but one we have not gotten since the pandemic started. (I do cry almost every time I hear him because the relief and hope I feel just overwhelms me). Bidens message about the pandemic

I can't see these same people wearing masks if Biden makes it a federal mandate, can you? I think wearing/not wearing a mask will become even more of a political statement. Biden just gave a live speech on COVID and it included a big plea for mask wearing/not wearing not to be a political statement.

Apparently the Libertarian Party had a candidate, Jo Jorgensen, in the presidential race. He was on the ballot in some of the states. According to an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal today "At this writing nominee Jo Jorgensen's vote total exceeds Mr. Biden's margin over President Trump in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, enough to change the outcome." The op-ed went on to lament the stupidity of the Libertarians in these "purple" states who didn't realize they should have voted for Trump. This is a little scary to me, that we might owe Biden's winning to this, however I'm grateful this happened.

Only spin meisters would assume they would all go to Trump.
