We finally watched the first episode of "The Nevers". I was impressed over how much they packed in the episode, it was loaded but kept a pace where you could keep track of everything. Not "frantic" I guess is a good way to describe it.

It does seem that HBO has a lot of tempting series to watch. I'm still mad that Dish dropped HBO years ago; I guess I could pay to add it through Amazon Prime.

linda72 , for channels like AMC+/AMC Premier (A Discovery of Witches is on that one), I'll sign up for a month once a couple of series are completed, then cancel after I watch them lol. You can pretty much do that any time you want on their streaming services or through your cable provider (we use Xfinity).

DotRen, I've thought about doing that so I can binge a series. I worry I'll forget to cancel and have lots of extra charges. LOL.!

I binge watched this season of The Resident. They handled Covid in about 1.5 episodes, then moved on.
The Rookie is ignoring covid all together.
Grays anatomy (which I haven't watched in years) is apparently making it the story line for the season.
It's interesting how different shows are handling it.

DotRen, I had not thought about The Rookie not even talking about Covid. Maybe that is why I'm enjoying it so much. I'm so bored with Grey's Anatomy because that is all they've focused on. I know hospitals have been involved in Covid 100% but this season has really been dragging for me. "Meredith: please wake up"!

I wouldn't pay for those HBO; Showtime, etc. I did what Rene did and signed up to watch something I wanted and cancelled after the first month. We are watching Billions on Amazon (showtime originally) free. There are things I have to fast forward through (guess I am too old for that) also the "F" word is used like I use "the; and; an" but I tried to get past that because the acting is so good and the story line. Might get tired of it though we are on Season 2.
My favorite "Medical" show is "New Amsterdam" it is the only medical show I have stuck with. I also enjoy Bull. Marie

Meredith: please wake up"! I'm about to go over there and wake her up myself at this point 🤣🤣 So weird you said something about them not mentioning Covid on The Rookie DotRen. I actually paused the TV and asked TJ what was missing last week. With all the shows masking up it is definitely unusual to see one that isn't.

Grays anatomy got renewed DGD is watching the earlier seasons which brought back memories for me of many of the characters who are gone. Wow, there have been a number of story lines in that series. I guess they made Ellen Pompeo an offer she couldn't or wouldn't refuse. $$$.

I don't watch it, but I just heard This is Us will end after next season. I've heard it's very good, but I don't want to watch something that makes me cry all the time.
