I am watching to see if anyone has posted anything good. The only thing I've read about is a new PBS series, starting Sunday, January 10. "All Creatures Great and Small". It's a new adaptation. This link has some other shows listed. I taped "Elizabeth is Missing last night but I'm waiting to watch it. It's about a woman with Alzheimers but that hits pretty close to home (my Mom had dementia) Here is a preview link: Elizabeth is MissingPBS Masterpiece

DebDoesWW, I forgot I had taped The Rookie!! I watched and it took me a minute to remember what was going on but I got there. I like this show; different than so many cop shows. Thanks for the reminder! I'm interested to see Mr. Mayor; I like Ted Danson. I wonder if it'll be like Veep with Julia Louis Dreyfus. I watched "Call Me Kat" (on Fox) with Mayim Bialik but I was underwhelmed. I don't think it will make it.

Deb The regular NCIS was a rerun. The other ones were new.
The Rookie was different.

I watched "Call Me Kat" (on Fox) with Mayim Bialik but I was underwhelmed. I don't think it will make it. Linda we watched that too. Her turning and talking to the camera every other line seemed a bit much. I LOL only once at the end when she accidentally kicked that guy in the nose. Her physical comedy is good but, I agree it may not make it.

We started an old British cop series that's on Amazon Prime. "Line of Duty" has 5 seasons, each one about 6 episodes long. We watched season 1 and really liked it. The characters carry over to the next season although season 1 finished at least 1 story arc. Check it out.

Has anyone watched Elizabeth is Missing. Thoughts? Am I the only one that had to rewind at the end thinking I missed something?! Putting a question in a spoiler so I don't spoil for those that are going to watch it. Who attacked her friend? Or was her friend not the person mentioned in the paper and she just fell or something in the garden (because of the comment about her son not making sure it was safe.)
How did she know the story of what happened to her sister so clearly at the end? Do I need to rewatch it because I missed something or is everyone else scratching their heads too.

We've watched the first three episodes of Flight Attendant on HBO Max. It stars Kaley Cuoco from Big Bang Theory. Definitely a dark comedy. It's fast paced. If you like her, you'll like it.
The fifth season of The Expanse has been available on Prime. They dropped four episodes to start and then a new one every Wednesday.
We finished the first season of The Wilds on Prime. It has a Lord of the Flies vibe, only with a group of disparate young women.

Recorded the Rookie but haven't watched it yet. Magnum PI is back on, 3-4 episodes already. We've watched 3 episodes of the expanse and it's not as grabbing as the previous seasons. susiq25679, lol the Pioneer Woman is crazy for virgin river. She posts about it all the time!

Susi - which NCIS do you watch. I have never watched the show and thought I might look for something new.
Deb - I did not enjoy Elizabeth is Missing - I usually really enjoy everything on Masterpiece but not this. My understanding was her friend, Elizabeth, had a heart attack or stroke while they were in the garden. Her thoughts went to her sister. They went back and forth much too much without any boundaries, etc. Yes, I did watch it all - sad to say I watch things I would have pre-Covid turned off!!!!!! Marie
