Yeah, DH recorded Mr. Mayor. It made me want to watch Veep. Too bad, I really like Ted Danson. It was too, too arch and insidery and self-aware of how cool the writers think they are.
I don't know if anyone saw or remembers Bored To Death. I wouldn't mind seeing that again. Probably on somewhere. It had Danson in a charming, bumbling role.

I'm waiting on Younger to come back for the final season. I watched it on Hulu and it was awesome. Six seasons so far and 1 more to come.
I have watched Big Sky, Its pretty good. I'll keep watching to see what happens.

I'm still watching This is Us but I have to confess I am getting bored with it. Does anyone feel the same or is it just me?
I should watch the Rookie. I loved Nathan Fillion in Castle. Castle is one of my all time faves.
I watched the first episode of Bridgerton last night but doubt I'll watch anymore. Couldn't really get into it for some reason..despite great reviews.

LaDonna, I’m also bored with This Is Us. Now we are going to learn about Randall’s mother and I don’t think I really care. The storyline about his father was interesting. Kevin’s current story has no intrigue. What I am watching right now on my iPad is Arkansas, a movie with Vince Vaughan and Liam Hemsworth. The LA Times has a free book club and they’ve now added first showings of movies and it’s all free.

I have Elizabeth is Missing recorded but haven't watched it yet.
I'm watching Your Honor on Showtime. It's about half way through.
Watcher Mr Mayor. I'll get it another chance, but it hasn't grabbed me yet. Actually there aren't any comedies lately that I've found funny.
This is Us is back, so is Chicago Med and The Good Doctor.
Also watching Nurses, a Canadian medical drama. I watched Transplant (another Canadian show) and enjoyed that.

I've been watching Bridgerton on Netflix. A real soap opera, created by Shondra Rimes (Grey's Anatomy). I'm enjoying it; the costumes and sets are fabulous. It's set in 19th century England.

Has anyone seen Resident Alien? I think it's on FX but not sure.
The previews look very dumb, but I was curious to see what other people thought. I've already made up my mind I'm not going to like it, so I don't think I'll have fresh eyes.
That happened with a couple of other shows, like Mom. I didn't think I'd like them but when my brother said how much he liked them I started watching. Now I really like it.

Taking a leap into the unknown but I just bought a ticket to see the Sundance Film Festival virtually. A friend has gone in person every year since 2006 and is a member of a local group, Fresno Filmworks. She posted a link to the web site and I downloaded the entire program because it is hard for me to figure out choices one day at a day. The only one I chose so far is a documentary called Homeroom about an Oakland CA school in 2020. Tickets vary in price and the one I bought allows me to see 10 films from January 28th to February 3rd. She and I are both retired high school English teachers and when we volunteered together at a local thrift shop we would talk movies. linda72 I binge watched Bridgerton. |

I really like Kyra Sedgwick, but I didn't even bother to watch. The previews looked bad enough. I haven't found a comedy in years that I've liked. |
