Hope everyone is doing well and had a good weekend. Can't believe this month is almost over!
I weighed in today and and I've met my goal to lose 5 pounds a month, so I'm really happy about that. I had a few days earlier this week that I ate quite a few of my weekly points, but not all. I was able to eat lower the next few days after that. Hopefully mixing up the calories/points every few days is helping.
I was up as expected this week. I'm ok with that. So far this week, I'm doing fairly well. I actually got a little exercise this weekend. I'm just plugging along. I won't meet my goal of losing five pounds this month. I'm ok with that. I feel like I am having a bit of a transition - what I have been doing has gotten me to this weight and if I want to continue to lose I need to re-evaluate and make a few more changes. I really think that the activity piece is where I need to focus; I don't want to eat less than I am (although I know that I could ease back on the snacks/treats - I'm not there yet). I would like to try to get intentional exercise a few days a week and see what that does.
sunrose49, In an effort to get more activity, I took my daughters (10 and 6) for a walk the other day. It was freezing! I can't wait until it's consistently nice out so that I can do that more often. My 6 year old is finally getting to a point where she can keep up, but the 10 year old doesn't really want her to come with us!
I am doing well this week in terms of staying within my points. I still have lots of WPs left. The scale isn't really moving, but to be fair, I've been over my points at least by a little bit every week in March. So I need to stick to my points for a few weeks and see what the scale does. I am thinking that I need to shave off a few more points per day, but I can't be sure until I spend a couple of weeks sticking to my points.
wwlurker - You have a really good insight into yourself and what you need/want to do to continue losing weight - I hope it all works out for you. It would be nice if you and your DDs can get out and walk once the weather is nicer.

I'm doing pretty well, just sticking to my plan each day. I am finding that I'm leaning more towards watching my calories than my points. But having that daily point goal does help too, especially since I'll probably be lowering it next week (fingers crossed)
I've been thinking about planning to have a special dessert for Easter so I might save up some calories/points for that. I really need to get away from that thought process that holidays equal eating, but it's a hard thing to do when it's been something I've done my whole life.
cj59, I think entirely too much, about everything. Sometimes I wish that I had a more quiet brain. I like the idea of planning something special for holidays.
I'm still doing well with my points for the week. The scale is pretty much where it has been; I may be down slightly but not much. We'll see what my official WI says on Saturday but as of right now, I am down a little bit this month.
