I don't know why I didn't post here today. It hasn't been that busy a day.
Phyl, good to see you stop in. Sorry you're still having back problems
CJ, yes you did have quite an assortment of greens. Greens of every hue. They're really pretty too. I did go to Facebook and look at those quilts. People do amazing work.
Ginny, it's good to hear that you had a quieter day yesterday.
I've been working on a few things. I did find my "missing" bin of fabric. It suddenly dawned on me where it was. I haven't looked in it yet because it's got a lot of sleeping bags piled on top of it. I don't know why we still have so many. I just have two more missing items to find now...that quilt panel and my eeyore fabric. The quilt MIGHT be in the bin but I doubt the fabric is. It always had mostly fleece fabric in it.
Sue I hope you and your hubby are ok.

Good morning!! Ruth, when I put things away, frequently I put something away in a place that I figure is “logical” and that I will “remember”. Guess what. I almost never remember, and when I do find the missing item its not logical at all. Your quilt panel and the Eeyore fabric might be in that bin- then again, they might not be. Finding that panel and fabric will be a special surprise when you do locate them, and a relief for you. I have a lot of sleeping bags here too.....wonder why we keep stuff like that? Do you have any plans for the fleece in the bin?
Phyl, somehow I doubt that you forgot how to quilt or craft!!! You are well practiced and can do it in your sleep, for sure. Sorry to hear you have been uncomfortable - which I hope becomes more manageable soon for you.
CJ- I did want to mention what a lot of work it was to get those fabrics trimmed so neatly and well organized!!!
Not sure what today will bring after I go to church. I am enjoying a quiet morning, that is for sure. This week will be be a bit less hectic and I will be home a bit more with less babysitting. I traded babysitting days with DD’s mother in law- as she needs me to cover her babysitting days the week after Easter, and it helps me to have her take my babysitting days this week.
Speaking of lost things, I have to find the seeds and starter kit for my flowers. I picked a good place to store them, and now cannot remember what that good place was. Also have to start planning the baby shower for Dd. We are hoping it will not be too stressful or fussy an affair, and am having it at my church in the fellowship hall which is big enough to have the number or people planned and still have social distancing.
BBL- Ginny

Good morning Ginny and allwho stop in later. It snowed again last night and looks like quite a bit but not on the roads. It's been too warm for it to stick but I can tell it snowed because it had mostly melted and slid off my vehicles and now they are covered again but that's melting also
Ginny, I think our "good places" to store things move themselves around. As you know my good places never turn out to be where I remembered them being. I'm going to go throught that bin today. I hope you find your seeds. That's one thing I can always find as I've kept them in the same place for years. It will soon be time to start them....indoors of course. I was searching in my online folders last night for a pattern I had put in one of them for dd who's bday is next month. I couldn't find it but all of a sudden there ii was. So have to get busy on making that although I probably won't see her until way after her birthday.
The fellowship hall sounds like a great place to have the shower. It's great that you're going to be able to have it there. Dgd's shower was yesterday and pictures were posted on fb. No social distancing there. It looked like she got a lot of clothing all of which looks way too large for a newborn so she will have to save it for later.

The great thing about getting a lot of baby clothes for when they are bigger is that DGD will be ready when the baby grows and needs bigger clothes. They seem to grow so quickly and those size 0 or newborn items only last a few weeks anyway. I am glad she got a lot of clothes...which hopefully are appropriate for the baby’s size during the right season. I am glad they have a shower for her....and hope that she is feeling well going into her final weeks of pregnancy. Well that is great that you found the pattern for Dd- what are you planning on making fo her? She lives close enough to you that at least if you do not have the gift done quite in time its easy to get it to her. Snow is nice when it falls and slides off the car- in other words, its not too cold and there’s not too much snow! I do not mind snow this time of year at all for that reason. Here today, gone tomorrow or sooner.
I did not even look for the seeds or the starter kit. I think I still have to purchase that seed starter soil anyway- and as long as I get them started in a week or so I will be happy. I originally bought the starter kit thinking that the shower would be here. And that if I started the seeds early enough I might have them blooming by the shower. Well, now with the shower scheduled for church, it will be much easier. They have a large kitchen right next to the fellowship hall and a good playground just outside. I know that some who are attending will have young kids with them so a playground is an asset.
Walked a lot today.....twice by myself (once before church and once around the lake after church) Saw a flock of common mergansers at the lake- they are so pretty (medium sized duck). Then my neighbor down the street wanted me to walk with her- so I sure did get my steps in. I worked on that bank change a bit too- I am about a third of the way done with that and hope to finish that up by mid week. What a pain in the neck is. Oddly enough the easiest to change my banking information at was social security.
gonna put the dishes away and then maybe sit down and start on some embroidery.
CJ- I am sure you kept busy with the Sunday blogs and your projects. Hope you were able to open the windows a bit in the warmer weather.
Phyl- hope you are feeling better today.
Sue, we miss hearing from you...did you get some snow also?
And yikes- tomorrow is Monday again. Ginny

Hello Everyone Phyl - I'm sorry to hear you are still having some problems and I hope you feel better soon. That was a neat idea/program that your quilt guild did. You'll have to pull out those fabrics someday and maybe make something Ginny - I'm glad you were able to get a few walks in, hopefully you're having the nice weather that I'm having. Ruth - Sorry to hear you had more snow, I hope it all finishes melting soon. I worked on the March Hope quilt today. I'm going to go ahead and finish it this week instead of waiting until the end of the month. I need to clear away the fabric from it so I can get things set up to do that machine quilting I hope to get done by the end of the month. I took out my old machine that was broken and fiddled around with it and got it working. It sounds a bit "rough" so I guess something was/is hitting against something or is bent. I'm going to play around with it and just do some straight stitching and see if I can get it working. It has the wavy stitch that I like to use for some of my my machine quilting and I'd rather use this machine to do that than the new one. I do like using my mechanical machine for straight line quilting - that's the only stitch that is on that machine. I checked out the blogs today and didn't see too much. I have been enjoying seeing those quilts on the Keepsake Quilting Facebook page and I found a few patterns that I like over the last few days and printed them out. Take care everyone!
