Yesterday I put the week behind me and still had all my weeklies plus a few AP's
Today -- April 15 -- I have accrued 7 activity points from walking for an hour and am easily within points for the day.

4/16 1209 cathygeha you need to do what you think works for you since you know your body best. It might be time to shake things up. The first few weeks of any plan is always a "honeymoon" period where we are so focused on tracking, weighing, measuring, and getting everything absolutely on track so, results happen. I know you are familiar with 🟣/CORE so I say go for it!

cathygeha, I had been thinking about Core/purple.... but, for me I am really trying to get out of that good/bad food syndrome which Core puts me into a bit more. That is why, even though this week I am doing nada, I may go for Purple. Having the daily points to use I think I would feel less guilt eating things not on the list. I am about 3-4 pounds over goal... I am really having a hard time even considering calories. I have 3 apps downloaded to do that, but it seems to put me into panic mode. The one thing I do like about the idea is anything can be eaten with calorie tracking. I am , as is visible, a bit confused still over what to do, which program to choose. I am taking this week off. I have cleaned my facebook feed, dropped a couple of podcasts that I wasn't listening . I did like heather roberstson's page again and subscribed to her podcast. Am I the only one that feels that I am thinking about food 24/7?

DebDoesWW, I told my sister I was contemplating Purple and she said she was a one trick pony, knows blue, won't try a new program, that I should go for it and let her know how it goes. I m double tracking today (or triple). I will track on ITB the WW Blue program and on paper track blue and purple and on MFP (if I keep up with it) the calories. I am allowing 16 for Purple as I have heard it is the low number and at 166.6 this morning figure that it might be that or a bit higher and change at 150 pounds but...16 should be fine.On Blue I get 23 points (going with my sister's points number) and for both 28 weeklies. I don't have the app so am guestimating and figure it won't go LOWER than those numbers. I think that after losing 36.8 pounds since mid-May of last year my body may be ready for a change. I have fallen into a rut having learned the blue over the last two months. I have lost on blue but...slowly. I will probably lose slowly on Purple, too, but I will have a few more options to add in without counting. I will see how it goes. Thank you for your input...hoping to shake things up although...with the slight drop this morning, maybe my body was ready to release and drop more anyway?

reneinitaly, I am ALWAYS thinking about food when "dieting-counting-tracking" it is the nature of the beast. We want to follow the program, stay within points/calories/whatever, and to do that we have to research, find what works, become obsessed. The problem is that when at goal for awhile that obsession disappears and pounds reappear.
As mentioned, I will double track Blue and Purple for a few days to see how it goes. I probably will not find whole wheat pasta easily in Lebanon but there are plenty of whole grains so will have those instead. I may not find brown rice easily but there is bulgur for fast grains and another staple grain in the country it is easy to find whole wheat grains. Barley is easy at grain stores for animals but...not going there Will see how it goes. Oh, I do think that the points in Purple at 16 seem more than none on Core except the weeklies...five a day on core (divided up) is not as many as the weeklies + dailies on Purple.
