Z, What percentage of completion of do you think you are with the decluttering for putting the house up for sale. You have been working so hard!!! Today, I went into hype overdrive and jammed through the office decluttering and reorganization. Decluttering list: Four chairs, 9 pieces of e-trash such as printers, monitors, hard drives, two half size lateral filing cabinets, a bookcase, on glass desk, four tables, three large filing cabinets, a mass of office supplies, miscellaneous things on and on, telephones, calculators, I don't know how many bags of stuff also--the junk guys were taking them as fast as we were filling them. After the junk haulers left we ended up with three filing cabinets and a half size that could go so we were just pulling those out and a women showed up took them and also the last table. The movers hauled 51 boxes to storage, rearranged the filing cabinets, moved the entire contents of one office to another bigger office. Then we worked on putting like things together for storage and got all that done. We have lots of storage room now. Friday I will work on the feung shui situation with the energy in a couple of the offices. One of them feels like a pack rate lives in it. The other feels like pig pen works there. The general vibe in that office space is really good and was like that when we decided to lease it. So I will figure out what to do to improve those two problem offices. Pig pen wants to work on it. Pack rat doesn't. So it may take me more than one trip to straighten out pack rat. We'll see....
I am jazzed about this because I did spearhead a very thorough project and got way more accomplished than I thought I thought I could. Hooray!!!

wOWw!!!! Banner day for you today!!! THat was quite a list of a lot of LARGE items. It HAS to look so much better in there! Way to go. I love the nicknames by the way, I think I'm Pig Pen and DH is Pack Rat....lol!!!!
Banner day here as well!
GRaduation: -actually started and am probably at least 1/3 to 1/2 way done with grad announcements. I send the big, fancy, school announement with a larger picture to Grandmas/Grandpas, Great Aunts and Uncles both sides, and Aunts and Uncles on both sides, if I have fancy left after that I might send some to close friends. Everyone else gets a photo card announcement.
TaDas: -boxed the entire area of working materials last night from Master bedroom outer area. -examined, combined, boxed, or taped current boxes shut of all craft related items from MB closet and moved downstairs -brought the big wrapping tote down and the taller wrapping paper rolls tote down, but in craft closet also, a stool and a shoe shelf -emptied the two, two large drawer plastic storage things I'd thinned a couple of weeks ago and boxed all that was in them, wrapped them with the plastic wonder moving wrap so drawers stay in and brought down -boxed all loose art, kid art, old framed photos mom deposited with me. -moved items that were already in boxes, that were mine when I was a kid, out, and brought down -purged over 15 pairs of shoes to go to Goodwill, three books, shoe rack DH had set in downstairs hall, so I have three small/medium sized boxes to go to goodwill. -drove to the storage center to examine the space situation in both units to see if I could possible get all these boxes in there, and felt I could do it! -called in DS once I had all boxed and had him start hauling them downstairs and out to the outside door step and I took them from there and loaded the car including the emptied 2 drawer plastic things. Those are bulky, yet light, so they can be teeter tossed on top of other stuff as a topper and not hurt anything. -maybe this doesn't sound like a lot, but it was at least 25 boxes total of stuff...if not 30, there were few smaller ones I did. And I got them all in only one of the units, and could still stack more in there, but there is also a small amount of more stacking room in the other unit. -DRUM ROLL......my side of the mb closet is COMPLETELY cleared of ALL items. nothing s on the floor, nothing is even hanging on the lower rods. This feels great! -DH bought some banker boxes, which we'd discussed, needed to box our files. I advised of the schedule for when that would be done which is not until Saturday. But all the boxes were bought and now assembled messing up the one clean room of the house and I find this extremely annoying as at least I was able to view one area of accomplishment and cleanliness and I'm not even sure we needed them all assembled. Sigh. Also he keeps focusing on this and there's other stuff he could be focusing on that's more "his" area than "my" area. I can't box teh files until I pick up, go through and put away the papers that are all over. Sorry, vent over.
That is a tough question. I'm going to say we are only 50% of the way there with most progress downstairs and in master bedroom. We have to continue to push hard before carpeting job on May 28th and the the wood flooring job that following Monday May 31st. If we get done everything we have planned that is needed by then I'd say we might be at 75% after those happen. Our photo shoot is not until June 22, to go live then the end of that week and ideally we can be getting some of the things out of the garage and storage unit with a big truck the first part of June into our new house. The major challenges will be the three bedrooms, the kids' rooms are atrocious and DD and DH together have made the guestroom atrocious.
TOmorrow I take DS to see my mom before he heads out to basic training on the 24th. Friday my next goal is to clean all trash , paper, file paper, purge paper, from den, entry way, formal dining area and formal LR. These areas all adjoin one another/open to one another and there is just messes of all kinds of carp everywhere to deal with, and the filing and paper has got to get taken care of on Friday so we can box the file cabinets and get them out of the den, which will also receive new carpeting next Friday!
Thanks for listening.

Z, No wonder people don't declutter and organize. It's all so incredibly complicated. You are doing a fantastic job!!! And a HUGE CONGRATS!!! on getting your side of the the MB closet 100% ready for the next phase. Years ago we used to store the business records in the basement. One year it kind of flooded and that made those papers all get so moisturized that they got moldy on and on. Finally I refused to go through them and have such a colossal amount of papers so now they are kept in a storage unit and only have to be cleared out every few years. Also I refuse to have any of the personal or work bills at home. It's all kept at work--along with the DREARY conversations about having to spend money to live. I totally will not put up with that considering every single thing in our life is 100% paid off. Life is to be lived HAPPILY--IMO. Also the dingaling button gets pushed about politics-- so I have outlawed that topic. Just chatting LOL Today, I had to recover from yesterday's mega-marathon. Spent the day working on this and that pertaining to my office job. It snowed! Copious amounts, however it was warm enough so that it didn't stick to the ground.
Hope you are having a relaxing evening!!!

Good Evening,
I was just shuddering at the thought of you guys lugging those office storage boxes up and down the stairs in your home for storage, let alone the flooding incident! Yikes! I recall mention of this before, not sure it's when it happened, or if you were telling about it.
EX-7 EP-8 WI-8 167.5 scale not moving right now, trying hard.
Yesterday was a looooong day of driving and visiting. DS got to see my mom before he ships off to basic training. He leaves Monday the 24th for Montana to see friends first, then to Butte where he does his formal check in and what not, they put him up in a hotel for few nights, then it's off to Lackland, TX for US Air Force basic training. He stayed on visiting mom while I drove sister 1.5 hours, one way, to the Airport hotel, and then back to my moms. I rested, then back in the car and home again.
Pantry Musings: I think I did not mention that in addition to the goal to eat food from the pantry I also cooked a bunch of stuff during the pantry purge to use up food. Now I'm meal planning to certain degree with the goal to decrease quantities further.
DH Yesterday TaDas: -DH had boxed several more boxes of things from den builtins including some of "my" books so this was nice -DH washed the outdoor rug that sets on our back deck, you not being familiar with our climate and this being on the south side of the house, how disgusting looking this can get, so this was nice. -also he cooked suggested dinner from pantry goods
Todays focus has a title I'm calling the "The Clearings" like the Scotland HIghland Island Clearings, except my "Islands" are Formal Living Room, Formal Dining Area, Entry Way and Den. This involves going through all paper, boxes of odds and ends, DD's school and craft supply carp and other things.
TaDas: -took a car load of stuff 4 -5 boxes of stuff, smaller boxes, and weird shoe rack, and child's toy to Goodwill drop off. large vase I forgot to take last time. -came back home and loaded DH's 3-4 boxes along with 5-6 of my boxes from craft closet plus a couple more Items I'd boxed today to car and drove to storage unit and deposited part in one unit (that unit is FULL and can take NO MKORE!) and then in the other. The other unit has room for a couple more tall stacks of boxes. DH I'm not sure understands my insistence in moving out everything possible from house to garage or storage units. But I'm not sure he's in tune with the amount of carp that will need to come downstairs to entryway for this carpeting job from the other three bedrooms in the house. I will try to have an organized approach to those rooms if there is time and am working hard for that, but there is a lot of TT and NO help....seriously. Think of the dumpster fire meme with me walking away sipping a coke-a-cola. That would be dream come true!...lol. I brought back to rubber backed rugs (not scratchy back that we'll want to have to walk on in certain areas in this house after floor are done and new house from storage unit. -I went through 1 half full shopper bag, two-three shallow boxes of paper and carp this morning, sorting, purging, trashing, file pile, found two important things we'd been looking for while at it. -Items from Formal Living room must go to family room, like artwork not yet wrapped/boxed, DD's portable piano/keyboard, it's cords, consolidated all sacks to two large bags (we will need some of these at hand), guitars, ukelels, bongos, mini amplifiers, a recorder. THe family room has new carpeting and this area will not be recarpeted so these oversized items can set there until ready to wrap/pack. -stopped and made appointment with Septic presale pump/inspection stuff to happen June 14th, - roof blowing gutter cleaning, window washing, two chandelier cleaning to happen June 18th. -phoned window maker to have service done to some of our hardware cranks on new windows we had done, some little screws are coming out, this involved phone call, screen removal, climbing on stuff to read numbers etched on windows. -happen to check with DH if we had even gotten insurance on investment rental property we closed on recently, the answer was no, thankfully that place hadn't burned down in the last two weeks! Lord, called and took care of that! I'm not sure how this even happened. -we have two contractor sized bags of trash going we'll set out again for pick up on trash day, each is almost full right now!
Now...there are approximately 4-5 more banker box equivalent of carp and paper to go through, not densely filled thankfully. DD has this equivalent plus 2-3 more, that needs dealt with for "The Clearances" phase to be considered complete. THis may happen tonight but also might have to happen in the morning. It is slow going through this carp and of course I do not want to do it.
Got my walk in, 15 K steps.
I hope your Day has been good!

GOod Morning,
Morning Update:
Things are going slowly but they are going.
TaDas: -new shred sack going -recycle paper box is filling -more items into trash bag -all boxes, bags, about the 4 "Islands" for "The Clearances" were emptied, sorted, purged appropriately, this was about 4-5 boxes/stacks worth of stuff, a lot -I have saved some keepsake items like, misc school things for kids to scrapbook, photos, odds ends, of mine and for kids which, and weird stuff, down to a 14" square x 5" depth box, I think this is pretty good. This box I'm just going to box and move, deal with at the new house. -All loose paper has been moved to formal living room floor where I will begin sorting, piling for filing purposes. Probably while I am doing this, DH will be pulling files from cabinets that can be purged/shredded -Taped together about 5 boxes for DS to begin boxing his room and have given instructions -scanned his "important" paper work to and e-mailed him the PDFS and gave him the originals to to take with him this morning, found his second, original birth certificate. -spoke to DD about addressing her boxes of stuff I took the guest bedroom a week ago, nothing has been done, she is the biggest "PR" and "PP" in the household. -DH booked appointment for her and had wrong dates, I am editing this situation. -all four of den shallow, bookshelf depth, double cupboards are emptied, not all is boxed from them, but most of it, and remainder is on bookshelves in view of what is left to address Den: Our den has a full wall of shelving builtins. 4 across, six shelves high, to a 10' ceiling, 24 shelving cubbies that are 28" wide. Then there's an addition 8 of these in back corner from floor to ceiling, so 32 total, A LOT of shelving. We are down to office supplies, odds and ends setting on about 16 of the remaining cubbies, not tight, no books, some is big stuff, like signed football for example, so when we get to point of packing what remains, this will go fairly quickly, but for now it can remain as is. -Den floor is clear of all items except file cabinets, computer desk, lamp and computer components.
Now, I'm going to do an errand, get my walk in and then start sorting, piling, filing the papers then DH and I will work on the file cabinets together.
Maybe more later. I hope your days are going well and you're not down with a headache. Yes, I heard you had snow! Crazy!

Z, Incredible!!! Such a huge Paper Tiger and you are taming it one bagful at a time. It sounds like you are starting to see you will get it under control. Also great job on setting the appointments for such things as window washing. You are doing a fantastic job!!! Yesterday I spent the day at the office working on implimenting my revised organizational system. Lots got done and lots more was put in the truck to go to be shredded. I simply cannot believe the amount of paper I have decluttered, shredded, moved to storage. Today I finished the compilation of a number of--never mind---just trying to control more paper insanity. Or more specifically trying to stop AA from continuing to make pig pen messes of everything. The plan is to put up with this until the end of July. So there is an end in sight and actually the situation is a lot better since I took away her complex work. The downside to it is that I am doing it now. The upside to it is that I am now not having to DISCUSS the messes that are made because there are none anymore in the areas I took over. Next week we will tackle two of her filing cabinets. Major editing........ However all will be organized for when she is no longer there. Smiley face!
BTW, I was sidelined with a migraine. It is gone now. Hooray!!
Hope you are having a relaxing evening! Onward>>>>>

Does this mean the AA will be terminated in July but doesn't know this yet? Maybe you can't answer that.
I didn't do anything else last night.
TOday TaDas: -ALL papers emtpied from all areas, that were dumped out were sorted, piled, purged, filed! The Formal living room is 100% clear of loose paper. The Den is 100% clear of loose paper. All file piles have been filed, new files created where necessecary. -While I was doing this, DH pulled and purged many hanging files worth of stuff to the shred box -I found major home improvement receipt files he went through and grabbed tax related items and added to the file he'd created for that purpose. -I have the plan to e-mail, my reciepts from Goodwill drops and and Salvation Army drops receipts for this year (11 trips total) and get those in the tax file too, have those things setting together -Found a receipt, actually 2 receipt copies, for a purchase made in 2018 for which I'd never ordered the actual product. It's for a custom carved plastic pumpkin. So I found that paperwork, a piec of artwork and e-mailed the provider (who I had touched base with recently) the artwork explaining what I wanted. SO hopefully he can do it based from what was forwarded. This was an expensive purchase so I feel good about following up on it. -DS is boxing purging his room, we have many more donate items, another box is going and second filled large black trash bag, this makes three of these to be picked up tomorrow! We had two of these last week! Astounding -last night cooked dinner from the pantry!
THere are two things I hope to get through after dinner tonight. One is some stuff/pakcking materials at the base of may bed and the decorative paper box. THis box is too heavy to manouver as is, so I need to think about what to do. Also I think there are things under the MB bed that need to be pulled out and donated as well, two rugs for sure and I think we'll get rid of the walmart hallway runner as well as I don't want to lay that back down once the floors are redone. More to donate!
Hope your dayhas gone well!

Z, So exciting that you managed to get the Paper Tiger off the floors and in its cage!!! Banging the Clutterbusters Drum %!!!***??)*&!!! and five gold stars *****. Also having the confidence that DH was there so that now there will not be any "lost" papers that you will need to find. Hooray for that! Sometimes when DH wants me to find something I have what I call "that sinking feeling"--as in OMG what if I misplaced that.... I am terminating my supervision of any and all employees effective July 31, 2021. Never again will I do this. Once I make up my mind about letting go of something in my life I never go back on my decision. Of course it takes a huge amount of stuff for me to get to that point. If DH wants to hire an AA then he can do the interviewing, training on and on. Or if he wants to keep the current AA that might work (Ha Ha) however I would have exactly zero interaction with her. Come July my career as a supervisor will be over. Hooray!!! This year DH let go of over 400 tax clients. Of course he could not say exactly goodby to a bunch of them since they talked him into doing their tax returns one more year. But he did it, after contemplating this decision for many tax seasons. I like the auditing work so I will keep that.
Today I took the girls to Rally class. Just so much fun as they are sharp and very cute. Clair does not like obedience work so she dinks around looking for food on and on which just makes me laugh. Her passion is Therapy Work since she instantly adores any person who approaches her. Buttercup is not that way so she is the top dog in the class.
So glad you got help today with the Paper Tiger--hopefully it reduced some of the enormous stress. Seriously, you are doing fantastic!!!

Good Morning,
Yes, that sinking feeling is what happens to me also. Thanks for explaining the decisions making regarding the work at DH office.
DS: Yesterday we went out for a nice dinner family dinner, the 4 of us, before DS leaves today. The packing up of his room was interesting process, which I became slightly involved with advising to pack like with like things, when there was some illogical, non thorough, stuff going on. Se he added another "donate bag of clothing and some other items and started another big black bag of trash, this makes 4 of these on the premises currently.
DD: Hmmm...there are some issues here (what's new, right)But they are the types of problems that have researching things like, "What to do when you college acceptance is rescinded...." Granted, this hasn't happened yet, but it's a possibility. The fact I'm having to even wonder about this is stressful. However, what this has done is completely free my mind of even worrying about how I will approach to her room areas because now she doesn't have time to help with any of it due to the circumstances previously mentioned. This may sound strange, but it is very freeing for me mentally because if people can't care about what they should be doing, why am I overthinking the whole situation. Now it will be like, "Stay out of my way, I'm doing what needs done, you take care of what you're supposed to be doing." On this note, I realize the leftover banker boxes DH got are good because the lids coming off, can be looked through if need be w/out taping shut, so this will be good addressing some of her stuff.
TaDas: -loaded car with the donate items from DS room purge and other things that cropped up so there's another load -loaded the shredding box to the car to take to shredding today, this will be great -carried out 3 LARGE contractor bags of trash to garage to add to a 4th bag setting there already, DH and I not in agreement what to do with these. I again want to set for pick up for upcharge at curb, but he wants to take to dump with one other item. I say fine, but that needs to go today or tomorrow (immediately) or they should be set out for pick up. Once I've gone through it, bagged it, boxed it, whatever, it needs removed from the living spaces of the house because we are going to have to have these spaces cleared to move furniture to for the carpeting job, we can't have umpteen bags of trash sitting about as well. -last night I removed items from under our bed, boxes and rolled up rugs, one we can use temporarily in new house till we get something new, it has a non scratchy backing, and the other I put in the car to donate -used the lidded banker type box to box 6 boxes of what I consider DD's carp from downstairs and put in craft closet (craft closet has wood flooring off hallway wood floors so is good area for storage for carpet job. -DH put the big garbage bags in the back of his truck, yay! -DH and DS brought down most funiture of the room and I've removed pictures from walls, added more items to take to Goodwill, the car is pretty full, t.v. stands, stool, decorative items, 3 ring binders -there is a 5th trash bag going now -moved all boxes, collapsed and other to family room to make room for furniture to be placed in entryway where they were. Furniture must be placed here and in garage for carpet job.
"The Clearances" operation I consider complete and success the four "Islands" floor areas have been cleared of what was originally planned to be cleared and are clean/clear. The dining are as this is where I set packing paper, trash bags, packing supplies materials does have some items that have been newly deposited there, but this is fine, it is still a working area.
Now I am making a shred, donation, dry cleaning errand run and will be back to do more. Area of focus will be packing sellables from DS room for ETsy, breaking down cube storage system. DH needs to focus on hobby control migration of what items of his are in there as well, general trash pick up, one small, but significant wall repair needs to be done, also I need to get trim match paint from paint store so I'll get the color for DS room whild doing that as well so I can fix that spot, I am only going to spot paint it.
A lot has happened this morning!

Z, Progress is definitely being made! I do miss the posts about the crafting though and will be glad when they start up again!! It's going to so helpful to have decluttered prior to the move instead of just boxing everything up and then trying to figure out where everything is. Great job!!! Today I worked for hours on miscellaneous homemaking chores. One that had gotten way out of hand was getting boxes etc into the recycling. So today I got that all put into order and down to the trash. Worked on organizing my shoes by color and putting some of them in the two new storage racks I bought. Got my returns organized and ready to go back. Also signed the girls up for their next class and worked on my Alliance of Therapy Dogs insurance renewal. Did some laundry. Worked on an audit Took care of several emails for work. My stash and dash closet is in much better shape but still needs significant work. I need to store my big office supplies in a plastic container in the garage which I will get done this week. That was about it for me. 14,294 Steps so far.
Hope you are having a wonderful evening!!!

Monday Evening,
NIce job on your steps and all th eother miscellaneous things you got completed today!
I made two trips to Goodwill today, one with car load of boxes and smaller type items. Trip two we were able to get DS' stereo cabinet (he picked up from the street) and his desk into the back of my car. On the first trip I saw a woman treating these Goodwill helpers terribly. I got some McDonald gift cards and gave the guy who helped me unload trip two one of them. I will dole the the other three out over time.
DH has been super helpful in helping clear the remnants of trail DS left behind while I made these trips. I CB'd bedding from this room to contractor trash bag and washed the rest. There is another full trash bag to go, this makes 5 I think.
30 lbs of stuff shredded at the UPS store, dress dropped off for hemming job at dry cleaner, return of a plastic file tote box bought at Staples returned. Spackled a quarter sized hole of paint that came off the wall in DS room and I will get spot paint to fix this. Tomorrow I will also go to paint store and get an oil based white that is close match to our trim work just to do some tiny spot touch up, nothing major. Made dinner, got some chicken to go with it.
Not sure I mentioned I ordered new outdoor conversation set chair covers to replace disgusting, mildewed, torn old ones. Those will also go in a trash bag and I believe DH is making a run to the dump tomorrow with those. This will be important when showing house that they look clean, and protect chairs if raining, and will be good at the new house. THese arrived today via AMAZON.
I have unloaded the wire cubby system of Etsy Card stock/envelopes and shipping supplies and that stuff is boxed. Goal is to empty/box the leaning bookshelf in DS room that also Has my other finished product and bring these boxes downstairs. THere are three other boxes to bring down of stuff that is already boxed and then his room is empty/clear for carpet job. I emptied all house recycling, including the box I'd filled from the clearances.
Oh...and I need to get up early tomorrow and finish DD"s grad announements so they can be mailed.

Z, Such an interesting declutter list again! It sounds like it is all starting to come together!!! Thirty pounds of shred is phenomenal. The replacements for the chair covers sound perfect. Time is flying by!!! Today, I worked on a long, complicated audit and had stay very focused and productive to get through it all. So I was glad to have it boxed up and out of the house tonight. Hopefully the one I work on tomorrow won't require the corrections this one did. Other than taking the dogs for their runs, training and playing Dogorama not much else transpired. However new manical dog heights were reached tonight. This was the funnest Dogorama ever. Hope you get the grad announcements done!!! Onward>>>>

Good Late Evening,
Yay on the audit completion.
I did not get the announcements done.
I did go the paint store, twice. The patching I did and some clean up/touch up paint in DS room looks great. I got magic erasers and cleaned the closet walls also using a little Dawn and water. It is not 100% mark free, but looks considerably better than it did. I got the oil based paint to do minor touch up on trim work and tried it in closet first, it's okay, it will be important to only use this on very tiny, minor touch ups, not go crazy cause it's not a perfect match. Got "Goof Off" at paint store and used this on the double masterbath door frames. THis seemed to work, can't believe I've been living with that adhesive gunked up stuff for years! I also spackled a gouge out of a stairway spindle that was unsightly. This isn't even painted yet and just the spackle had that looking like brand new!
DH took all the current trash bags and more stuff to the dump today, loaded the trailer and his truck and the back of DS car with stuff. We will drive DS car and leave it at my cousins until we take possession of house and then we'll park it in the garage. We have permission from builder to store boxes in garage until posession date which I think is this Friday. Walk through is tomorrow. Tomorrow will be all day driving there, walk through, driving home, I'll not be home until late evening.
Today we cleared the guestroom of all items from floors, end tables, table and chairs. Only the bed remains. DD's stuff had morphed into this area, it is very out of control with her stuff right now, she's not managing anything. I just got to get through this carpeting job on Friday. I will have Thursday to focus soley on her room and what needs to happen.
Doesn't sound like much, but it was a lot of boxing, bagging, trips up and down the stairs to remove items from guestroom.
TUesday Am Update: I think I can take lap desk and finish writing the announcments on the drive back to town as I will be riding with DH. We aredriving two cars this morning and leaving one there. I will try.

Good Morning,
I still do not have the announcements done. Yesterday was tiring and I though I would work on them on the way home, but it was late and I was tired. Ultimate goal changed to complete these tonight so all can be mailed tomorrow morning.
Avatar: This is our view standing looking through the great room windows looking south. Dont' know if you can make that big or not. The deck outside is abotu 12'x20', if I recall correctly.
Walk through was good, the flooring looked great, the carpeting looked great, very lush, nice thick pad underneath, cabinetry looked great. It is all very nice and new. I will post an avatar showing view from standing inside one of the great room windows. Our master closet is very small. I think it's half the size of what we currently have, this is a little frightening. There were no major issues with walk through, just paint, dings, ceiling globs and such. I don't "love" our bathroom backsplash choices, but it will all be fine.
AM TaDas: -cleared one end of DD's closet shelving -moved some bulky folded clothing to that shelf, hung some, and put a couple things on DS' shelf -tried to remove a lot of bags/piles of "doo-dad stuff to guest room bed for her to go through, also a bunch of purses, small bags -removed all empty hangers from closet -This created stress and now she and I are going to go through that when she is done with school for the day and clear the clothing from the floor. -I had dragged items out from under her bed previously so that was good, there is a lot to do in this room today -DH and I have moved many furniture items, large and small from entry way, upstairs guestroom, DS' room, tables, chairs, chest of drawers night stands, to second bay of garage from entryway -DH (Ihelped a little) moved his dresser, t.v., and both my dressers to the bathroom -moved the larger empty file cabinet from the den to garage, this will not be coming back in the house -DH and I used heavy duty, extendable handtruck thing he bought twice today to move heavy file cabinet and a cedar chest from upstairs to garage today, this went well. These items have to remain in garage, not come back in house for staging. Also they need to be removed from carpeted areas. -I have boxed three boxes of jewelry, keepsake, type items I'd set out previousely from hutch and elsewhere and brought down and stacked in hallway -DD is actually working in her room now, how it is going WELL!!!! On a third kitchen trash bag size of donations, the floor is looking clear, surfaces appear to be clearing!!! -several more items added to donate pile, two sweatshirts -dealt with insurance call -dealt with hard wood flooring information follow up call -Hardware repacement call, follow up e-mail with pictures descriptions -spoke to tile people about new house tile -e-mailed new house people about the wrong door having got put in. I'm unsure if they will coordinate fixing that or if we have to at this point now. Paperwork was not updated appropriately, they missed it, we missed it, etc. -e-mailed reminder to handyman service about what dates they could work inside the house. -scheduled a pre-sale inspection for house. Sellers are providing this I guess as a incentive to buyers even though it is a seller's market, so we were advised to do that. -all laundry put away that was on floor -laundry rebooted times 2, I would like to get DH and Mine caught up today. TOMorrow I can run DD's when I'm trapped in the kitchen/family room area while the carpeting job is taking place. This is the plan. I think people should be rewearing regular clothing several days in row right now to help cut down on the the laundry.
I'm working on laundry put away and then will need to work on stuff I moved to guest room from DD's room and general misc carp that has again accumulated around dining room table situation as we are working. Also the kitchen needs cleaned.
I hope your head is better today.
