Thank you Lucy for doing the thread this month... have really enjoyed your pictures..
Linda.. hope you got rid of your headache.. not fun
Sandy, my Casey has had those episodes too ... he's blind in one eye and close to blind in the other. has only a very small range of vision..Hes deaf to most voice tones.. he falls a lot but I think his is due to his arthritis.. He still likes to play most evenings. and eats, though not as good as he used to.. It sounds like your baby had a stroke.. or maybe it was some kind of seizure ..? I am glad shes acting more normal now...
Not much to write tonight.. can't believe this month is gone so fast..

Regarding Jeff’s trust inheritance it was not considered in the initial divorce as it wasn’t considered income but was taken into consideration regarding paying his share of Maija’s tuition and I think since he is being forced into paying part of that his way of getting the money back is trying to get alimony increased. Debbie wants no part of his trust just have the court acknowledge he has no need for an increase and while the judge had stated the whole purpose of granting alimony is for both parties to enjoy the same level of living as when they were married she can show not only is she not having the same level of living as she was but his lifestyle is much better than when they were married. But bottom line is she just doesn’t want the alimony increased as what he thinks is a pay raise was just reimbursement for money she put out to attend conferences. So to go by paystubs and not her actual W2 is wrong.
Not much going on today except for Debbie’s court date. She’ll stop by here when it’s done or she just might decide to go home. Guess it’ll depend on the outcome.
Bridgette is perfectly normal this morning so not sure what was going on yesterday. Maybe she was weak from not wanting to eat. But at least whatever it was seems to be over now and her appetite is back.

Apple cobbler in the oven. Load in the washer. Another unusual temperature day for us. Maybe 90.
Linda, when I mop, sweep, or anything like that I pay for it. I have the shampooer setting out. Maybe tomorrow I will hit this carpet. Just the open area. No moving furniture.
Phyl, I found a picture for you. Not opening my laptop now. Time to dress for gym class. Bearly hasn't been out to do his business yet.

Molly, my walk was less than two miles, easy, and not much traffic to deal with, plus it was a good morning for a walk.

Good morning!
News flash! Mattresses are deeper now than they were years ago . . . pillow tops, etc. Newer sheets are made to fit at least 12" depth. My sheets are old, so don't fit. Something more to donate! LOL! I guess I'll probably sew my dust ruffle from a King-size ruffle I have never used. This new sewing room needs to pay its way!
I broke the acrylic nail off the right ring finger first thing this morning. This may be the opportunity to see if I can do a "dip" nail by myself. Or maybe I'll just stick on one from Walmart and polish it.
Linda, you were thinking positively about your walk, that's good. Could you see the mountains while you walked?
Lucy, so sorry you ache when you do housework. Just about everything women do is lifting, bending, or carrying. Not to mention it's either upstairs or downstairs depending on where we are at the moment. Many times I've heard, "If a MAN had to do it, it would be FIXED!"
You really have done a great job keeping us going this month, Lucy! Loved that passing of the torch picture at the top of the page! Thanks for starting the thread so faithfully! Connie, bless you for taking July!
Glad Bridgette is doing good today! Bah! To Jeff!
Gotta go. Hope to BBL! ~~Mollyann

My laundry is in the dryer. That's all I plan to do today. It's 77 degrees currently and some storms predicted for later today. Instead of a Missy story, I have a Linus story. They took him with when they went to pick up glasses from the Lions club and told him they were going to see the Lions. He got excited until the Lions were a bunch of people! When he got home, he got out a book and showed them a picture of a LION!!

Hi!
Love the lion story! Thanks for sharing, Nancy. Lucy, the torch picture is great. You did a fantastic job with the thread in June. Thank you. Sandy, I'm glad the Bridgette is better now. Prayers for Debbie, today. Molly, I found that our new mattress wouldn't take the old sheets, too. Darn!
I just checked our air quality index, and after the rainy days, it is 30. Much better than before. I think when it is dry and we have wildfires around, it get s much worse.
DH still doesn't want to go for a walk, though, so we won't. Today is supposed to be sunny and reach a high of 85º or so.
This morning, we got our waffle breakfast and picked up our Walmart order. We came home and made peanut butter muffins before putting the starter back in the fridge for a rest. So now, the place smells great! I'm thinking of making a yellow cake, since I think I have a mix for that . If I don't, it will go on next week's list. Or, I'll make a vanilla cake from scratch. To think. It is sad to realize how lazy I am nowadays.
One of our truths is that we have changed the way we travel. We cannot drive as far in a day. We usually ask for handicap access rooms, we don't eat along the way... Darn. But it is what it is.
Today our laundry is in so that will be done in a few minutes. The dishwasher was run at 8:00 this morning, so the dishes will be put away before lunch. I plan to start the new puzzle today. And there you have my day's plans. Dinner may be leftover pizza. We'll see.
Hugs! Diane

Nancy, what a smart little guy Linus is! He knows that lions are lions! LOL!
Diane, at least you and your DH ARE still able to travel. We are blessed that there ARE handicapped rooms, and elevators, etc. Did you purchase new fitted sheets? I saw last night that Amazon has a brand that actually sells separate flat and fitted sheets.
Mmm. Cake sounds so good to me. I bought a Butter Pecan mix the last time I shopped. There was a REALLY delicious-looking sheet cake on FaceBook that I thought I'd try. Guy and I love pecans, but DGD#2 is allergic to tree nuts. Legumes do not seem to bother her, but walnuts are especially dangerous.
Since DD is taking the piano, I'm going through music. I can no longer play the piano with this tremor. Ugh! In fact, I noticed the tremor while playing when I was a teenager, but didn't connect it.

I am running late again today. I just cannot get into gear but promise to do better! I did sleep in and it felt so good. but the humidity just tires me out a lot. I took the strawberry pie to my DSIL. Tree cutting all over the place for the electric lines, phone and cable. Also had to wait on a truck trying to get in to a business parking lot. Hugh trailor behind him and he was having quite a time. sometimes they are having lessons for the drivers and sure looked like he might fail!! DSIL was making a big salad and some mac and cheese. he has to do lunch at home and then take dinner to work as he is on afternoons. told me their trusses are finally in for the addition on the house. Kind of a covered porch and a mud room. Really anxious to see what it will look like. The Amish will give them a date soon to get started, just when they were planning a vacation , but that is still in the works, they may have to come home a day early to get rid of the porch they have now. that might be fun to do. Just a saw and sledge hammer. and go to town.
we are to get storms all week. I rescheduled my nail appointment , just not feeling like it. Will go tomorrow. Today I have a huge headache. So staying home and staying in.
Molly my DD is exactly the same. Very allergic to tree nuts but fine with peanuts. She particularly loves the old fashioned Mexican peanuts. Loves the peanut butter pie I make. with crushed regular peanuts on top. Just for her!! light and fluffy not heavy pie.
LUCY, You can post any pictures you want for July. they are always welcome!!!! Thanks for passing the torch picture, really neat.
Sandy, I hope your DD stops with really good news for a change. She must be so tired of this from her ex. Why can't these controlling guys just go away.
So good bye to June today.

Nancy, I love the Linus story. So cute.
Well, I had to take a Tylenol before I left for the gym. This aging is definitely not for sissies.
I'm supposed to go to DD's the last week of July. I want to drive myself so that will mean Tylenol.
I am thinking about going out and getting the camper ready to camp here in my yard. Looks like camping isn't happening any time soon. Sometimes I think I should just sell it. A friend's grandparents had their camper stolen but they got it back.
Connie, I will put up pictures. It is what I do you know.
Have a good rest of the day.
