This week I take credit for getting to an in-person WW meeting, exercising, tracking, weighing and measuring, keeping the right food in the house, keeping up with my online support groups, and meditating. I have gratitude for my husband.

Credit for exercise 2/7 days, and for tracking everything I ate for the week and staying very close to my points allowance for the week.

What is in your freezer? What frozen foods do you use? How does your freezer help your weight management effort?

We have meat, bread, frozen fruit, frozen veggies, and frozen appetizers. I don't freeze left overs or make food ahead to freeze. The big thing for me is the ability to have the frozen fruit to put in my yogurt each day.

In my freezer - lots of frozen vegetables, some frozen fruit, bread, chicken, frozen fish fillets, tofu, vegetarian sausages and patties, some meat, leftovers from previously cooked meals, some vegetables that I prepared myself and froze (steamed broccoli, sauteed kale and other greens), homemade and bakery cakes and parts of cakes, bags of mini candy bars.

When it comes to overweight/obese adults or children do you think there is a common denominator to the reason (psychological or otherwise) they are overweight/obese (outside of the idea that they overeat) or does each person have their own story?

I think everyone has their own story but I do think there are a number of causes that are common between people. I was just oblivious to my overeating and didn't think about doing something about it, and then in later years I thought I couldn't do anything about it. My fear of getting diabetes got me to change my mind and do it.

I think there are generally recognized causes for overweight and obesity, though not all causes apply to all people. I also think that there is so much that is unknown scientifically and medically about the causes and treatments.

This is something I had in a file from 2017: food is literally fuel for our bodies - food is also cultural. It is also artistic expression. Food can be adventure too. What do you think?

I think of food as fuel for my body and as providing the nutrition I need. I have no food imagination so I'm not into artistic expression, actually the way I see some fancy foods plated puts me off. I don't have a cultural background for food except the SAD -- Standard American Diet, and I'm not adventuresome with food at all. I enjoy my food and like what I eat even though it is limited.

For me, food is fuel, cultural, artistic, adventure, and sometimes an emotional support also.
Obviously, I'm very into food.
