Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today It's been cooler here but nice weather. I just wish I could get outside more and enjoy it. I finished piecing the Acorn quilt top and I'm happy with how it came out. It's not a very bright quilt since most of the fabrics are pretty dark. But I was happy to get to use these fabrics I've had for so long. On one of the selvedges there was a 2003 date I also did some organization of the scraps left over from a few projects and evaluated and organized other projects I have waiting to work on. Now I have a better idea of what needs to be done. I found another small piece that I'm going to machine quilt instead of hand quilt so I hope to get that done this week and then I can get the binding on all those pieces I finished quilting this month. And I started an embroidery project that I've had ready to stitch for over a year, it's a barn stitchery. I hope I can get this stitching done and the quilt top put together before the end of the year. Here's a link to what it looks like: www.primroselane.com/store/p71/Hole_in_the_Barn_Door_Wallhanging_Pattern%C2%A0_%28MQ-009%29.htmlHope all of you are having nice weather and getting to do some crafting too

CJ- I remember a post from you in the past about that adorable barn panel. It will be so cute- what fabrics do you have to coordinate with it? The web site says “easy embroidery”. Hope so!!! Hope that project goes easily for you. Hand sewing can be so relaxing.
Ruth - yay!!! Your joanns order arrives tomorrow and just in time. Crocheted footballs sound great- hopefully they are not hard to make.
I did get to almost finish going through some old pictures my mom had left- and am trying to organize them better. And I did get to work on an ornament.like Ruth I am waiting for my joanns order to finish the ornament off.
