CJ- not looking at your seams at all and think both the sweet dreams quilts came out beautifully! What is the approximate finished size of them?? Just curious. What you have done with the delectable mountains blocks is genius….almost looks like it could be used as a table runner? Its a pretty and simple look- put a red candle on it and its a Christmas decoration. So pretty. Cannot wait to see what you do with the lighthouse panel as you work it into a border for the sweet dreams quilt. Have fun with it. Yay- glad that warmer weather and not too much snow meant that you did not have to clean the car off.
Well had plans for today….and a few things changed. I was tired (despite that I slept pretty well). So I did lay down and take a short nap after church. My neighbor- who has been attending church with me for about 7 months- needed help setting up a new radio (which I ordered for her, she paid for of course). As much as I wanted to push that off for another day, I told her to stop over and I would help her. Ends up she has a tough week ahead and this was really the only time that would work for me to help her. Glad I took the time- she seemed like she needed a friend, and it only took me a few minutes to get that radio set up for her.
I did get back to work cutting batting into 10 1/2 inch squares- and I found some more batting pieces that were large enough to use.(so I did get some crafting in!!) Love this project because it is allowing me to use up smaller pieces of batting. I figure at the end of the week I will be cutting fabric. Sometime this week I will be going (most likely) to Hobby Lobby to pick up a beautiful cross stitch piece that my DSIL in florida made for DS- I took it to HL to have it framed. It should be done this week.
Deman, c’est Lundi. No you are not losing it….I am tired of remarking that tomorrow is Monday and chose to do so today in French. Ha ha ha. Ruth, hope you had a good day.
Bonne nuit.
