Hi Ruth - Hope you were able to get your DH's medicine alright. My mother liked bologna too, and I remember her frying it We'll both have to live a long time to get to our projects I really got a lot done today, I try to take advantage of when I'm motivated. I sorted out the rest of my fabric stash and made lists of the precuts I have (layer cakes, jelly rolls, charm squares and some small bundles) and also a list of all the fabric groupings. I ended up with 32 fabric groupings!! It was nice to pull them out and look at them again. I would say that about 3/4ths of them I would still want to make a quilt with. The others I probably don't care as much about now. It's funny how our tastes change. I hope to get to some actual sewing tomorrow. Hope you've all had a good day

Ok,I never had scrapple. My grandmother used to like tripe.I do eat bologna, but not often. And i eat salami, but only kosher salami-which you pretty much have to go to a kosher deli to purchase.
CJ, that is a really wise move to purchase kits, then you are not at all stuck buying fabric and having leftover that you don’t know what to do with the two kids seem to be the same pattern, and it’s just a difference in the fabric. Both are absolutely gorgeous, but the prairie dreams color scheme is really right up my alley. But I do really like red and white quilts also!
Ruth,Obviously you succeeded in getting that prescription transferred to your local pharmacy! I’m so glad that that worked out for you.
It’s one of those times that my keyboard is acting up, I think it’s a software issue because it is not consistently an issue. So we’ll cut this short. I got some housework done this morning, and got that bedroom flipped around. Then I went out and got some yardwork done. So I’ll have to see if I can get some crafting in tomorrow. Have a good night!

I never (well almost never) buy bologna!! Oscar Meyer used to make a reduced fat (perhaps Lite?) bologna, that I was only able to get at Walmart. I used to enjoy that, but have not seen it for years.
Yesterday I went to the high school that DD teaches at and saw the kids production of the Wizard of Oz. It was pretty good, and over all a very enjoyable time. Got some strange weather ahead of me today. There is a possibility of a rain snow mix later on in the day. I do remember April snow here before, and actually remember a day off from school when I was a child because of snow. Not supposed to have that much snow today - mostly rain. I am thankful for the cooler weather, because then it is not too hot.

Ginny, good to see you. I'm glad you enjoy the play at your dd's school. I'm sure the high school kids did a great job. It's been warm here the last couple days. Not too warm but just enough that it makes me happy. I hope you can get to some sewing today or whatever you will enjoy doing today.
CJ, you mentioned sewing today too I think so I hope you can get to that and enjoy the process
I did get dh's prescription with no problem at all. Dh didn't want me to go because it was Saturday but there weren't anymore people out than the weekdays and no line at the pharmacy which is unusual for there and since it's in a grocery store I picked up some bananas and no wait in that line either so I may have to change my way of shopping and go on Saturdays.
I did start a new blanket yesterday and plan to have that one in my vehicle for when I have to wait at places or stop for any other reason. I see a lot of people crocheting while on road trips. I couldn't do that since I do the driving. The pattern is a one row repeat and easy to do when you have to start and stop working on it or while watching tv. It will just be throw size and I think it will be a good size with just two Mandala cakes which don't take up much space either.

Ruth, typicallyI have a small blanket in the car to throw over me in case I get a chill. Of course now that I do most of the driving for myself I don’t get to use it very often. But it’s a nice thing to have and I’m glad you’re going to make one for yourself. Yes a simple pattern to make for that would be best. Sounds like you got to the pharmacy OK and were able to pick up your husband’s prescription and a few items from the store. Congratulations on a successful trip! For some reason this website keeps going back to page 2 when we’re on page 3. And also I’m figuring out that my keyboard issues are really this website. I do not have this problem when I’m responding to emails. Maybe I’ll figure out what the actual problem is someday.
I did just finish cutting the rest of the strips from my quilt as you go quilt. I found one fabric that there was only one strip of and it’s probably my favorite. So I’ll have to figure out out how to use this fabric which I really like but do not have much of.
Another Monday….hope each of you had a good Sunday! Ginny
