Ginny, I do like KFC but since it's in the same place as LJS we always seem to end up with fish. Mostly because the fish is a special price. They don't seem to ever have specials on the KFC choices. I'm glad you got a good night's sleep. I didn't really sleep well so hopefully will sleep better tonight and I think I will. I didn't get to any crocheting last evening. I had the blanket with me but just didn't feel like working on it last night. I will this evening though
CJ, your pictures did come throught. I really like the red, white and blue blocks and the checkerboard is pretty too. And yes, sometimes the projects we work on do seem to take on a feel of having to do work instead of being able to just enjoy what we're doing.

Ruth, hope you sleep better tonight!!
CJ- the blocks came through- and are so pretty. What size squares make up the checkerboard block?
Got a few more blocks done on my QAYG. DD was here a lot today so I did not get much else done today.
Sleep well ! Ginny

Hello, Wow, I just came back to check the thread and saw the multiple pictures in my post I guess they posted after I checked. I deleted the duplicates and I'll try to add the one that didn't post. And I'm posting the Moda Blockhead blocks too, I caught those up to date today. The checkerboard squares are 2.5 inches before sewing. I just made a bunch of 4 patch units and then sewed them together. I started with that 36 patch block in the center, which I already had done and was the inspiration to keep enlarging it. Ruth - Hope you can get some better rest tonight Ginny - Glad you were able to get some more blocks done and hopefully enjoyed visiting with your DD. It's sunny and in the 50s here today, with warmer weather ahead. I'll be glad to turn down/off the furnace for a few days. Hope you all have a good evening

Quiet here today…..
I did get some blocks done on the QAYG. And then decided to get organized and divide the different fabrics in this jelly roll. Previously I had them in just sort of a pile….looks like there are about 20 different fabrics and I have several fabrics that there is only a small amount of. Some of the yellow fabrics just make me smile….they are so pretty. Right now my cat is sleeping on the separated fabrics and I did get some blocks done, so I will let him rest on the fabrics.
And…..its Sunday!! hard to believe that tomorrow is Monday again. Its a busy week for me, but different. I hope to get the PMQ blocks done this week too.
By the way- it actually snowed here for a few minutes! It was a strange snow- but here and gone very quickly.
Hope you had a good day and got some crafting in. Ginny

CJ- glad you got caught up on your Moda blockhead blocks!! Everything looks great- as always you do beautiful work. Bet it felt good to be back at the machine again. Were you able to resolve how to replace the fabric that Missouri was out of stock on? (Think it was moda also).
Ruth hope that you had a good day and are able to relax a bit and get some crochet time in

Very, very pretty CJ. 50's is not bad. Soon it will be way too hot and humid
Ginny, it's always great to have our children visit but, as you said, you don't get much else done. I'm glad you were able to get some blocks done on your QAYG. I hope you had a good sleep last night. I sure did. Better than I thought I would
I did work on my blanket last evening and got quite a few rows done but have a lot to go. I hope I have enough of the yarn. I would think that over 3000 yards would make a nice size throw. Wouldn't be large enough for a blanket probably but as a throw for on a couch it should work fine.
