Petey had a GREAT day once he realized he didn't have to go for surgery. THAT RASCAL!
I'm all showered and ready for bed. I won $19 at bunco! Vegas here I come.

Our book club today is doing a pot luck whoopee. My plan is to go get some cut up fruit. Wish I had a festive bowl.

Good morningā¦didnāt make it back yesterday, and today is shaping up to be busy as well. We have the Presidentās Holiday Party this afternoon, so after lunch will be basically a wash. And for some unknown reason our Dean wants us to be in the main ballroom, and to stand in line 2 hours before to make sure we do. Wierd.
SANDY thanks for moving and starting us up! LOL for sure on the mix up!!!!! Maybe I can get a pic up this time. I took my wellness time to work out and walk this morning. I didnāt push the workout, need to ease back into it. I have found that when I'm off for a bit and go right back at it with the same intensity, it wears me down (and my immune systems as well.) So I'm getting smarter, obviously.
CELESTE Oh no! How stressful. I can certainly understanding postponing because Petey isnāt feeling well. I wonder what caused this recent episode of nausea/vomiting? You just donāt know what is going on in his body with the tumor and all. Thanks for the explanation on the new boards.
ANGIE My list of things to do for last night when pffffft! So more to do tonight.
CELSETE ok, so PETEY is very intelligent and knows how to read a calendar? That little poot.

ANGIE that dress is so gorgeous. Yup, quite the princess. And UGH on the shoveling. I haven't really done any in years when we had our ski cabin in the mountains above Los Angeles. It is so HARD.
LOUISE since I got rid of so much stuff when I downsized I'm always wishing I had things like festive bowls etc. But I'm working hard to refrain from buying more STUFF that I DO NOT NEED.
SANDY eggs sound good but if I fry them I NEED toast. To soak up all that lovely golden yolk.
SUZE OK that standing in line.... crazy. Such unproductive time.
Petey seems to be doing great. He slept well and has been spending the day happy and alert and chewing on his babies. I'm not mentioning our Monday surgery plans for him. He's not trustworthy! LOL
Yesterday's ELF was to take another new lady to bunco. She's been here a year and has done nothing whatsoever either at the neighborhood level or the village level. I believe she had a good time and is planning on going next week. I also did the bag of groceries for the food bank. Maybe one ELF can carry over to today b/c I'm not sure I'll leave the house today.

Boy I lucked up, melon chunks were on sale at the grocery store and I found a cute Christmas tree to put them in. Tomorrow is another party, supposed to bring snack type stuff. Not going to take anything so I won't eat.

Sandy,I put hot sauce on my egg/eggbeater scramble.It makes it better I think.I like your checks after your accomplishments for today.I bet Katy is counting the days.Great ELFG.
Suze,Try to enjoy the holiday party.Yesterday when my tummy was acting up I had to go slower too at Curves.It's best to ease back into it.LOL on Petey being able to read the calendar but he is so intelligent he had to even know what date his appointment was.
Celeste,I agree on needing toast with fried eggs.I guess that's why I scramble mine.LOL on not telling Petey about Monday.I'm glad he's feeling better.Just omit all words that start with a M.Of course one ELFG can carry over.I say that b/c I went out and didn't do one.Elgin doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of charities...After payday,I may do a drop off at our church for the food bank.
Louise,That's a good way to not eat anything tomorrow.When I don't take anything to a function I won't eat either.
I went to Curves this morning since I won't have a chance tomorrow,we made a quick trip to HEB and WM.Planning a walk in a few minutes.I may go to Kenneth to the cattle auction tomorrow.He was so thrilled when I told him.I don't really like the auction but they have a good place to walk if the weather is nice enough.
This site is so cool.When I think I have lost a post it brings up a draft of the one I thought I lost and it lets you say yes to do you want to use this or something to that effect.It's a bit bright for some people but I think they will become accustomed to it.

OMG, I am so sick today. Something I ate must have been bad. After lunch last night, I just felt overly full. When I got home this morning I was really bloated. I looked like I was pregnant. I went to bed and woke up 2 hours later and threw up repeatedly. I'd go back to bed and wake up all clammy and nauseous every hour and a half. I'd call off work, but there is no one to replace me. So I have to go in feeling like crap. It's going to be a LONG night.
