I decided to financial assitace to go to school except for 3 classes I will pay so I can learn better than an advanced course right away; I will 6 credits this summer and take hopefully first 6 weeks personal finance and second class written communication. I will pay for the computer. I will save up to take beginning excel in fall and take a free math class because it is developmental.\
Then I will 9 credits in spring introduction to business business spreadsheets and business math I will pay for. then one for math class is required accounting 1 and 2 and quick books beginning and intermediate and tax es and a 1 credit finale course\\\
I could take math of finance and tax in summer if offered take. tax and math of finance and accounting 1 and beginning quickbooks in fall
that would be 4, 4, 1, and 3 12 credits but the last semester next year would be accounting 2 intermediate quick books and the last class 6 credits and graduate. so the hardest is the the second fall semester. At least I have regular semesters for the accounting classes

Hello! I've got to get my act together again! I have started walking on the towpath. That's going well. I can complete a mile now. My knee is steadily improving. My attitude needs work though, especially my work attitude!
I've got a LOT of catching up to do! I hope all are doing well!

Good morning!
Mo, I wish I'd been paying more attention -the theme for this month's challenge, showing yourself love and positivity, is what I need. It's just been so gloomy and while I know I'm doing great with my tkr (total knee replacement) recovery, I want to back to "normal". which of course, is unrealistic only 10 weeks post surgery. I really am doing great. I want it to be summer, lol! THe thing is, when it actually IS summertime, I will be able to do a lot of the things I like to do -provided I don't do something stupid before then and her myself!
So I started phase 1 of the South Beach diet. So far it's going better than I thought it would. I'm really not hungry but I do want to eat junkfood just for the sake of it! Which is the whole point of phase, to break the carbs cravings. And that will does happen, provided I stick with it.
Mo, sorry Jim has back issues! I hearya about getting back to a normal, healthy weight! That's why I started the south beach diet. Plus my oldest son's getting married in May and it'd be a lot easier to find a nice dress if I down 20-30 pounds.
Mo, I just had to have a no vending machine, no work birthday cake policy.
Amy, my doctor wants to lose weight or actually she's concerned about my cholesterol which for the first time is getting a bit high. But she's really nice about it and a great, attentive doctor. I want to goal weight by my next annual physical (November). Do you still have some home exercise equipment that you could ease back into using?
Amy, you mentioned an urgent care visit -is everything okay now?
I learned the hard way to never buy refurbished computers -they simply don't last long! Amy, you sure you want to take classes?
Okay, I think I'm sort of caught up.
Figures! I started getting into a grove of walking on the canal towpath and now winter weather has decided to return, whine, lol! But at least I can now walk on my TM (albeit very slowly), the walking on the towpath has really helped me. And I'm up to 30 minutes on the recumbent bike. That was the best christmas gift I could get for Susan, lol! At least now she's using it too, so I don't feel weird about getting her a gift that only I use! She did request it. When/if she ever moves out I will get the same recumbent bike for me, I'm very happy with it and it was really reasonably priced ($169). I was all set to get her a fancier one but stumbled across this one which was $200 cheaper AND had better reviews!

hi ll. Not going to school. I will pay for the laptop but I wasn't able to get into the program in spring so I would not have financial aid for summer. I sick of that school being so hard to deal with. My medicare changed into a different long erm program. Medicare told me to call in an hour. I want original medicare. I just don't think that the program that program says I am in is good for me.

Hello! I finally went to my WW meeting today after missing two weeks. My weight's been creeping up all month until I finally got real this week and started South Beach. I dropped nearly 5 pounds! But now it's starting to get really hard so I'm being tested to stick to the plan. But I'm already on day 4 of 14 days so yay!
I'll be busy today with PT and exercise and cooking up a bunch of veggies (roasted cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus, stir fried peppers/zuchini/mushrooms/onions w/fresh basil&parsley and fresh grated parmesesan) plus slow roast some bone-in chicken breasts and stir fry shrimp. And break up romaine hearts to mix with greens for salad. Oh and make some crustless quiches. I do love those crustless quiches!
This is how I want to be eating anyway (and used to!) except gradually add back in fruit and whole grains. And get more protein from beans instead of meat/seafood.
Amy, I hope the new meds work out! And the medicare. I'll have to get serious thinking about medicare in another year.
Amy, when do you get the new remote? It's so annoying how you NEED a remote now to operate you TV!

Well mrdicare negotiation is in full tilt in 2025 no more than 2000 in costs per year full negotiation of most common drugs, I called Medicare and they said call the number of the managed corporation that's trying to bud in. I like original Medicare and Medical cause no pre -authorizations at all unlike managed care/. By the way under Biden Medicare is open with live people 24 hour a day every day. its really good except early this morning I their computers were under maintenance. I left a message with the corporation saying don't take away my originaL Medicare.

Debbie WTG on your loss!
I am planning to ramp up my activity in March April and May. We go on vacation the end of May and I am so tired of staying out of photos because I feel like I weigh a ton!
