It's March, the days are getting longer, it's gradually warming up, Spring is just around the corner! Let's see if we can't shake off our winter slumber and get more active!
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here.
This challenge runs March 1 through March 31 , 2023. Good morning! How is everybody? This new month and new challange are just in time. I want to get more active and in a week I'll be cleared to ease into more intensive exercise. I SO want to get my old body back!

Ironically, the past week or two have been much colder than the several weeks previous. I think we were expecting Spring then. But that okay, days are getting longer and that's enough for now.

I am eating about 1410 calories I decided. I will keep my Moms meals cause I get them free. I am hoping to save some money by doing that. I still cant kick diet cherry pepsi. I will eat 1 lentil soup can a day for supper or breakfast I haven't decided. I am supposed to have a worker come at 4 but unfortunately she has not back my time 416. I don't much like that.

TODAY IS 45 BUT WE WILL GET BAD WEATHER AGAIN BEFORE NOT . SHOP TOMORROW WILL BUY 7 CANS OF LENTIL SOUP . THAT WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR THE MONTH THEN.

Good morning! I had the worst headache yesterday afternoon, so bad I was nauseous. I figured it was probably a low carb headache so I broke down and had a small bowl of oatmeal with raspberries. It must have been the problem because within an hour I was doing better. So I guess I will keep the small bowl oatmeal and a berry fruit but otherwise, low carb.
I think I'm finally in the right head space to get my weight under control. My kids are being supportive which is a major help. The PT exercises are changing from being uncomfortable/sligtlty painful to pleasantly strained. But my balance is a ways off with walking.
Amy, that's how most of my exercise (not counting PT) was done the past 2 months, walking in a store. Those first couple weeks I was greatful for my walker which is a really nice one that I can stop and sit up when I need a break.
Amy, could you cut back the diet cherry pepsi to once a day -as dessert? Keeping the MOMS meals sound like a good plan to save money.

Now I'm off for another 10 minutes on the TM. I'm trying to do 3 * 10 minutes on the TM and 3 * 10 minutes on the recumbent bike ... as well as PT. If Spring ever shows up, I try to move that walking outdoors.

I walked alot in the store I will eat 2 moms meals and pay for summer school. I have enough snap this month last I have from last month to last to buy 4 packs of diet cherry pepsi without taxes. I have 83 for the next 4 weeks to by 7 cans of lentil soup too cause I just spent 36 of snap today That will help alot Tomorrow I will start eating 1 can of lentil stew and 2 moms meals. I have to ask DVR next week if they will pay for school if not, I will have to leave on 2 meals a day for 3 months aamd pay 475 a month for 3 months and pay by June 30 which I will cause April 3 may 3 June 3 when I show that budget to dVr that I am paying for summer school because I don't know if I get financial since I did not get it before. I can pay Russ for 3 months starting in April. I am going to ask my brother if he already pays for hair cut and products if he could pay a little toward utilities in April. That's my birthday maybe he would that month. I bought Pantene today which is combined hair wash and the other things you need. I DID A LOT IN THE STORE SINCE I HAD OT USE THE LADIES ROOOM FIND PRINTING PAPER AND STUFF. I THINK I DID ALOT CAUSE I WAs tired today

Tomorrow I am bringing back a tv that I tried to cancel. Russ is taking me to Ups. I am also bringing back a bad rook remote. I am getting another roku tv to watch this afternoon. I will pay all in march and use money for rent and use the expanded February snap for food. I cut pay on my digital local paper and the Athletic with ny times. I don't want to give that up.i bought good shopping bags from QVC that are 17 a month and I should not have but will pay for next months. My moms foods come today. Bad weather predicted this weekend.

I am happy I dropped 2 of the 3 classes and decided to do accountin assistant or associate the first year is the same. But I am going to save for 3 months and take written communication up until June 30 from may 22. it is required. and I can pay for this course in April may and June. I have enough to buy lentil soup which I adore and have 1 a day with my moms 2 meals. But they did not arrive today. So I had some whole foods frozen brown rice I heat up with and I had some frozen peas which I did too. So that's what I am having now and tomorrow. I am going to take one course in fall. being excel hopeful in the last 8 weeks. Then I will save for th eadvaced excel for the next spring semester Then I can take Bering math in the next fall and then next spring take business math. in the 2 years I will have 2 courses that are required. but I would then be ready for the rest of the courses. I like that. beginning excel is 1 credit but an expensive credit. i9 believe this way in 2 years I can approach DVr and ask them to pay for one year of accounting assist. if not I will take one course at a time except for acfcountion I would have to take 1 credit with with That would be 5 credits. I am going to WW tomorrow morning. Its my march meeting. I probably will gain weight . I am glad I am going to school on my terms. I always get in trouble for dropping classes and never taking them. this summer will prove different. I will meet with my person at the school before the term I will have paid most of it by may3 but may need a little more in June. We have to pay for June 30. Because I won't drop the written communication class, I think I will be able to register early. for fall. I think it is only in fall when beginning excel is taught in the last 8 weeks. Tomorrow I have to pay everything I owe . And during this month. Figure out in April what I can spend and that is good. I ve printed my budgets for March and April. I go tomorrow to get my check form the Credit union for April. I am glad I am a month aheaD. Scott wrapped up the tv I tried to cancel I am bring that and a remote back to ups with Rus..and then we will both get cashiers checks for rent and I will transfer some money to his account. not allot cause he is paid otherwise. I am very happy now that I have one class and enojoy the glorious summers in Madison. and I will enjoy the fall too because the course is in the last 2 months of the semester.

Good Morning!
Jim and I went to Rocky gap overnight Wed to Thurs. We came back last night. I maintained so that is great for me.
I am hoping to show a loss tomorrow but it is Friday night lol
My grandson Peyton will be 11 tomorrow. Sam and Carol had planned a birthday dinner for him but Carol's dad Terry s in the hospital --it is seri=ous --so they may have to cancel that. We will just make sure Peyton gets our gift on his birthday. Next week is his baby sister Ally's birthday. They rented a place for that and invited alot of out of town relatives. I hope Terry gets well quickly. Carol will be devastated. Both parents are living near --well they actually live together for financial reasons. They have never been married and lived states apart for many years. Then the apartment building Terry was living in caught fire and he was displaced so he came here to live. I am sure it is tough sometimes for them as an unattached couple but they have done it. I am not sure how it will work out for Carol's mom if something happens to him. I doubt she can afford where she is living without his imcome. In fact I know she cant because she did make a comment about section 8 housing once to me.
Jim's birthday is St Patrick's Day! He will be 71. Its hard to believe sometimes. I will be 67 in Oct so he has a child bride lol
Anyway, TGIF!!!!

BTW I LOVE our challenge this month! If I am going to get a move on to lose any of this tonnage before vacation , I will have to get some exercise in most days!

I AM JUST TAKING WRITTEN COMMUNICATION. I THINK IT IS REQUIRED BY ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT WHICH I DECIDED TO DO INSTEAD BECAUSE I DONT HAVE CAR AND YOU WOULD NEED THAT FOR HUMAN SERVICES. I JUST HAD MY FIRST BOWL OF SOUP. I BOUGHT BUSINESS MATH BOOK. I WILL TAKE A COMBINED BUSINESS MATH AND MATH PREP FOR BUSINESS IN FALL AND BEGINNING EXCEL HOEPFULLY THE LAST 8 WEEKS
IF I CANT GET DVR TO PAY THEN NEXT SPRING IF I TAKE 6 CREDITS THE COURSES WILL ALL BE FINANCIALLY ELIGIBLE. I APPLIED FOR THE ASSOCIATE IN ACCOUNTING . I CAN DECIDED WHETHER I WANT TO GRADUATE OR NOT AND GET THE ACCOUTNING ASSISTANT. ALTERNATIVELY I CAN TAKE JUST BEGINNING EXCEL AND TAKE MATH PREP FOR BUSINESS NEXT SPRING WITH BUSINESS SPREADSHEET APPLICATONS AND A THIRD COURSE THAT WOULD COUNT FOR FINANCIAL AID. THEN I COULD TAKE BUSINESS MATH NEXT SUMMER. AND PAY BY MYSELF. OR I COULD TAKE BUSINESS SPREADSHEETS AND PAY AND TAKE MATH PREP FOR BUSINESS FOR FREE . I WILL FIGURE IT OUT. I PR5OBABLY CAN SAVE FOR SPRING 2024 BECAUSE I AM IN A HUD APARTMENT AND I H AVE A HUD PROJECT APARTGMENT LOT OF MEDICAL EXPENSES AND I THINK BUT 3 PERCENT IS DEDUCTED OF THEM. My rent changes in December but I get the CASHEIRS check in NOVEMBER FOR DECEMBER CAUSE I AM A MONTH AHEAD. IF I JUST TAKE EXCEL IN FALL AND ONE COURSE THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR IN SPRING I THINK I CAN.
