We had a little company today so I had to do some cleaning before they came. Now they've left so it's crochet time. Ginny, thank you for your kind thought I was considering that but today after several days of hydrocortisone cream it's improving.Did you get some of your quilting done? CJ. I'm sure you were working on some more quilting also. I hope you all had a great day and will enjoy the rest of the evening

Hello - Hope everyone had a good day and nice weather We had storms go through this afternoon, so now it's cooler. Ginny - Hope you were able to work on your quilt. Ruth - I'm glad to hear that the cream is helping the rash to improve. Phyl and Sue - Hope you are well. I had things to do around the house today so I didn't do any quilting and I really don't feel like quilting right now. I always have lots of ideas for projects though Take care

Blessed Sunday!!
Ruth, but it was so nice to have a little bit of company for a while! I’m really relieved to hear that the rash is going away, the hydrocortisone cream is working and I’m sure you’re feeling a bit better. Probably would’ve been a good idea to have a checked out but now with it going away, it’s probably, OK that you just let it go away. Hope you can get some crochet time in.
CJ, we all need days off from our crafting . Do you still spend Sundays checking out the quilting blogs? Yes the rain(we got it here too and parentheses was violent and loud. Did you lose your power at all? I know a Pond county from me. They are investigating if a tornado landed when the storm came through last night. Hope you and your house are fine. For my area the rain was badly needed.
Had 4 grandchildren sleep over last nite. They were pretty good overall , but my back is now sore. DD and her DH had a wedding to attend . I didn’t sleep all that well last night as I had two kids sleeping in my bed with me. But overall the kids were very very well behaved and the house is all cleaned up again. Everything is back to normal, and now I can face what seems to be a normal week.

CJ, sometimes we just do have to set our crafting aside for the day and do something easy and maybe mindless. I've wondered to if you go to those blogs on Sunday like you used to.
Ginny, sleeping with two small children in bed with you is no easy task. They move around so much I don't know how they even get rested sometimes. It's great that your house is now back in order and you're ready for the new week
Well the first three sections of this blanket went together wonderfully but this last section was giving me fits. I'm almost done with it though. I think I have one pattern row left and two sc rows. Then will be the edging/border and I'm done with that one. I received yarn yesterday from Mary Maxim...not the pink I need.If I had known I needed it when I ordered this I would have included it in that order. So anyway, I'll be starting yet another blanket to use this up as much as I can. By then the pink will be here and I can finish that one which won't take long. My goal is to have both of them done by the middle of May and the 28th at the latest because I have some things I need to do on the last few days of May.
