August--31 days this month---The challenge is to drink 6-8 glasses of water each day and to get 15 minutes of exercise.
WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins(WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. - Join in on the August water-exercise challenge if you want to, but no pressure if you want to do something else.
This challenge runs August 1 through August 31, 2023.

I know I got in my water and also at least 15 minutes of exercise--the dreaded yardwork, although it really needed to be done!

I am taking my water to work. I find it easier to drink it if I buy the 10 oz bottles.

Mo, thanks for the August start. Always yard work to be done 🙄
I put my weight in. I’ve been way to lazy for too long. My knees still hurt. Oh well I will work on self appreciation today 😉

Hello! Yes, I'm still alive and so sorry to be mia so long!
I am doing well, extremely hassled at work but knee is doing awesome.
I did the Women's 5K race today and it went really well! I alternated between jogging 1 minute and walking 2 minutes and finished in about 50 minutes. A 16 minute mile, woohoo! It was grueling while I was on the course but I felt great when I finished, just like old times! I'm very encouraged, I think I could get my mile times down to 12 minutes and under range if I keep at it. My biggest obstacle now is weight! I'm so glad I got that knee replacement!!
I've got a LOT of catching up to do! Hope all are well!
