Today I eat the remaining meals that got delivered. Then when we shop I am gong to buy fruit for the football games.

I went on treadmill for 10 minutes at 2.0 . I had the aerobic= capacity but my knees and lower back hurt.

I decided today to make a big package of corn or 2 frozen packages of corn with a can of black beans. then I thaw frozen strawberries and they are very good thawed. I ordered some more corn and beans to come today later if it will. Then I am gong to buy fruit bowl 1 or 2 for the game Sunday in the community room. Russ will take me before Church Sunday. I hope I get the whole delivery I picked from my grocery store. It is 8 packages of frozen corn and 7 cans of beans if not I will get it next week. I h ave a steamer that steams the frozen corn.

mo I am edoing the same thing. I am eating 3 progressive lentil soups in 6 meals because I fill on half a can;. And then I am buying 7 packs of 1 pound of stawberries frozen and I thaw a package for the next dqy. I know the points it is 18 for the soup The strawberries packs 150 calories with 6 half cups. and i get an insurance card that pays for 14 soups a week I pay for the strawbeees and the other 7 soups. I get enough food and I love the desertt of the strawberries. And the soup I ne4ed a can opener good for me. each can is 370 calories and d points and so with tums I take for calcium therapeutical I am getting enough. I went on treadmill twice and it was a mistake my lower back and both knees hurt for days. so I will do wats instead.

Amy, when I started walking again after so much time away following my knee difficulties and surgery, my back hurt too and knees a little. But I continued at just 10 minutes a day and just slowly built up the time and then the speed. The back and knee stopped hurting.,
Mo, sounds like a plan, I'll be doing the same.

September's here! While there's still a bit of summer left, let's make a goal of getting outdoors for at least 15 minutes a day, whether it's going for a walk or just enjoying a sunrise or sunset from a comfy deck chair.

Hello everybody! Does anyone else feel both sad that summer is coming to an end but also excited about the new school year -even though we aren't in school, lol?! There's something about September that makes you want to start fresh again with a new slate. What do you want to begin again?

Good morning! Yikes, I gained 5 pounds on vacation! I'm trying to get back on track. I'm down 1 pound this morning and I did walk 3 miles on the TM yesterday. I'm still just trying to catch up after last week's vacation.

Hello! So I didn't make it to the gym yesterday but I did walk on the TM AND outside in a park with a friend. Today it will be tough to get that exercise, I had a terrible nights sleep so missed morning gym workout and then just discovered on my calendar that I have an appointment this afternoon plus phone not working so need to go to phone store to take care of that -so little time to work out. I think I'll just try to get to bed early and get to the gym tomorrow morning.
Weight is down 2 pounds, 3 more to go to get back to pre-vacation weigh.

Good morning! I finally made it to the gym this morning! I did arm weight machines and rowed 15 minutes. I walk on the TM and/or outside today. I'm also hoping to do some yard that I'm way, way behind on since being on vacation.
Mo, good idea!
Amy, good luck with the WATP videos! I went to the farmers market last sunday and picked up 2 pints of cherry tomatoes and made cherry tomatoes sauce for my whole wheat spaghetti, yum!

Good morning! Another weird night of sleep so I was really out of it this morning and haven't gotten to the gym yet. But I hope to go after this morning's work meeting.
Wednesday night/morning, the cat threw up on the bed that I had just changed and put the brand new, freshly washed blanket/bed cover on. I had to strip the bed, then go sleep on the sofa -so no gym Wednesday, I was a zombie all day. Last night, a raccoon got inside (my fault, I left the sliding door open and had set out cat food for the regular feral cat I've been feeding. The poor little critter first was trying to hide on the shelves in the laundry room, which is just off my kitchen and next to where I feed the feral cat. I tried to gently shove him off of there but then he scampered into my guest bedroom so I was trying to get him out of there. I thought I had but couldn't be sure so stayed up awhile to keep an eye out for it. I finally gave up and closed the sliding glass door and went to bed with my fingers crossed that the little critter went outdoors. So far this morning, no sign of him and the dry cat food outdoors was gone so hoooooopefully he's outside. Poor little thing looked so scared and not very old, I didn't want to hurt it but of course, I can't have it in my house!

oh boy Deb you really have been ihelpin nature alot. ni decided I had sleep almost all yesterday. I had bought bags off salad and sweet poATOES AND black beans and fat free Italian dressing which I like. and some green onions which I like in salad. I have jusgs of water that I can user in a cooling machine. I will fill them next time I go shopping. I can also use my wagon and fill the jugs down the street. ui decided to eat better today u live sweet potatoes and like salad and black beans and I woke up very erlkty and am eating them. I cut up the sweet potato and mike then in a microwave dish. I bought diet orange soda in bottles too. I will try that too. Scott always thinks I cant do it. id idid by some ice cream which I do love too. I will see what half a cup is in points.
