Hello Ginny - The antique quilt show sounds wonderful, I'm glad you and Jane were able to go to that. I hope you can finish the daisies today. Sorry to hear about the power loss last night, but I'm glad that you didn't have a problem with your pipes and it came back on. Ruth - Hope you are enjoying your crochet today. I do have your email, so please don't post it here, it's better to be safe Thank you both for your support and I'll email you if I need to. I do wonder who is reading here and I often check your posts without logging into my account, so anyone can read here and they don't have to be a member. I spent some time quilting this morning and finished the Christmas version of the Autumn Wonders quilt. I'm very happy with how it looks in this Circle of Nine layout. I will definitely use that layout for some of the Moda Blockheads blocks. I added an inner and outer border to my quilt. I wish I could post a picture but the place where I usually lay my quilt top to photograph it is all filled up right now. I'll post a picture once I can. Here's an idea of the layout for this quilt design (look at the picture of the purple quilt and imagine quilt blocks where the purple fabric is: zippyquilts.blog/2022/01/09/circle-of-nine-quilts/Hope you both have a good day. Take care

Ginny, that loud bang at 1am would have scared me half to death. I'm so glad your power was restored quickly and that you didn't have any pipe freezing issues. Congrats on getting those last daisies done. You'll have the whole thing done before you know it. Yes even though Phyl was 81 years old and had all those medical issues she was a bundle of energy. I'm sure it was a huge shock to her family when she passed and that it will be a sad Christmas for them without her.
CJ, I do have that second email address that I give to very few people and if I had a problem with the one that it seems that a great many people have, I'd shut it down. But it's great that you have my address and now it won't be necessary for me to post it here. I'm glad you got that Christmas version of the quilt done. I received an email from Sherri McConnell from the fat quarter shop today with a very nice Christmas tree block. It looks quite easy so if I ever get sewing time I migh try to make it. I bet you've seen it too. It's all just squares and half squares
I may be back later but I hope you both have a good day

Good evening-
CJ - sounds like you have had a productive day and gotten a fair amount done. I will check out that link later on- it’s getting late in the day and I really do not want to be on the IPad. Think we all respect each others privacy well enough here….i am always surprised by those who have little regard for the amount of personal info they put on a public board.
Ruth - thinking of you as the stupid Eagles are presently winning against buffalo. There is still some time left so perhaps the Bills can score again. That Christmas quilt sounds easy- I hope that one day you give quilting a try. And remember there is no such thing as a perfect quilt or perfect quilter.
And I am on my phone which means I cannot see the previous posts. Sorry about that…I did finish the last of the ditzy daisies, yes I know you both wanted to see pictures of them. I need to press them and then get to move on to assembly of the actual quilt.
Hope you both sleep well tonite
