Stats for me: Sat-Wed 11,217, 10,599, 10,219, 12,215, 9,661. We have been getting Clair's PT walking and other exercises done. Some trouble getting them all done due to a really big snowstorm and relentlessly shoveling, ice whacking, etc for four days. Today I had a pile up of exhaustion but will overcome tomorrow. Kelly, I decided that I would do a WATP with the dog so we went around in some extremely confined areas walking to get her PT done. Cait, Walking4fun is a great idea. I really need to add something to getting the dog walked a number of times each day. Carol, Your trip sounds so exciting!

Good Morning!! Managed to get my home desk cleared off yesterday. Plan to de-clutter the rest of my office on Saturday. I got my hair trimmed yesterday. Leroy's niece did it. She had worked at Holiday Hair for 24 years. On March 1st her manager at Holiday Hair along with another beautician open up their own shop in the same mall. They took several of the beauticians from Holiday Hair. Went to Bible Study last night. Our usual teacher was back and he is going to do Revelations again. He has some new information after studying it further. Our Senior Pastor is doing a class the next 4 Thursdays. I signed up for it but will most likely do it online most weeks since I work Thursdays and being at Church til 8-830 makes for a very long day.
Michelle: Great Stats. I am sure you worked off a lot of calories with shoveling and the ice whacking. I am hoping we are done with snow.

Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, ate in my 💚 zone of pts. I had 3 meals, 0 snack, used 20 pts. We walked 2.2 mi before breakfast.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) yesterday: - Do at least 10 mins of PT: N - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - No “seconds” with snack: 💚 - No eating out of a container: 💚 - Limit phone after 9 pm: 💚 - Evening: Snack on Inspo; Read prayers, quotes, whys and goals: 💚 - FFFE (Food-Free Fasting Evenings): 💚 - JGTB (Just Go To Bed) around 10 - 11 pm: 💚
It started raining after we got back and rained most of the day yesterday. I went to a continuing education seminar and then stopped at the office to do a few things.

Thursday & Friday: 13,057 & 14,156, Stretches last night. Clair's PT done both days as much as was good for her. Got the walking 100% done. The driveway is totally free of snow because DH ran the tractor on it last Sunday so we walked on that. Eight round trips equals one mile. Waving to all Walkers

SATURDAY! Hey, send some of that rain or snow our way! It's so dry a fox came up on our patio to drink out of the heated dog bowl we have, primarily for the birds. I had wondered why the water level was dropping so quickly! This morning I saw a squirrel getting a drink, too. Guess it's the neighborhood bar Thursday a friend hosted a small brunch, so I didn't go to water class. I did some band work, though. Yesterday I swam laps and stretched in the pool, and I aaaalllllmmmmoooossssttt reached my goal time-wise (just 1.5 minutes off). Maybe next Friday I will make it! Good Afternoon!!
Sorry to be MIA.
I slept in a little later on Friday so did not get on the computer before work just did my morning devotional and a quick WATP.
I have added 5.25 miles Thur- Saturday. Some WATP and 2.25 miles outdoors at lunch on Thurs and Fri.
It rained all day yesterday. At times very heavy.
Went to my great niece's 16th birthday party last night. My BIL owns an amusement business specializes in games and music machines so he had it his shop the all the kids played games and listened to music. It was fun I did play a game of the shuffle board bowling that was fun and shot at some moose with my great nephew. I was not very good at that one.
We did the macarena dance, lol.

Carol: Good job on your consistency with your work-outs. I am sure you will make your goal next week.

The lunch out with 5 classmates from my first HS was really nice. We chatted about the old days and our families. Of course plenty of comments about how behavior of younger people isn’t as good as in “our day” 🤣. One of my classmates was one of 12 children - I never knew that! Made me realize yet again how fortunate I am. Two of them have had serious health problems, two of their husbands have died, and another’s husband has been dealing with cancer, living with a catheter and recurrent infections.
Today we’re going to DD1 and DSIL’s for lunch.
CAROL - Love your neighborhood bar setup! 🦊🐿️ How nice you got to go to a brunch at your friend’s. GFY with the band workouts, lap swim, getting closer to your time goal, and stretching.
MICHELLE - The snow shoveling and ice whacking does sound challenging. But I’m sure it’s making you very fit! GFY with the steps, 💯 walking, stretching and Clair’s 💯 PT. Doing WATP with the dog sounds like fun! I’ve been doing walking4fun.com for several years. I’ve done quite a few of the trails. I like seeing the pics of these trails as I virtually walk them. You can post steps or miles, and you have the option of linking your fitness device to the site so you don’t have to post manually.
KELLY - Macarena! 💃🕺 Blast from the past 😃. I remember it’s a dance but don’t remember what it was like 🤷♀️. Now, the “twist” the “pony” or the “stroll” I could demo. GFY getting in the 2 mi WATP Tues, 3 mi WATP with bands Wed, and 5.25 mi Thurs-Sat. Good plan decluttering your home office desk area. I need to do that. It’s great that you have the option of doing the Bible study online.

Good Morning: Yesterday, I added 2 miles while watching a movie. Other than going to Church and making some Chicken noodle soup and Chili, I rested most of the day. I should have finished my home office de-cluttering but just did not feel like it. Cait: Awesome with your consistency with your HHs and getting in those miles. Glad you enjoyed your time out your classmates. Hope you had a nice time with DD1 and DSIL.
The Macarena consisted mostly of arm movements.

Yesterday with the time change, I got up later than usual, and DH slept in later than I did, and we needed time to get ready to go to DD1’s and arrive by noon, so I just decided to walk and get our breakfast to eat at home.
We had a nice time at DD1 & DSIL’s. We picked up our fave Thai dinner takeout on the way back, DH napped and I caught up on posts.
I finished the week with 17.3 miles, and 1 day of PT for 29 mins 🥳. Better than none, but I can definitely improve on the PT.
KELLY - GFY getting in 2 mi and making chili. I hope to make some soups when we get north. I’ve missed them and I know DH has. Somehow it’s just more conducive at the cabin for me to make soup. It’s colder and darker there and just feels like we should have soup!

CAIT -- your 1st HS reunion sounds nice, and you are doing so well with your HHs! I notice you did a little PT, too. Good job!
KELLY -- sounds like you needed a mini-DOR after your soup making. Your office mess will still be there when you get back to it!
I spent yesterday getting ready to host my bridge group, the first time since our kitchen re-do, so I didn't do any exercising. Sunday, though, I went to water class, and I swam laps today. I stretched in the pool both days, too. I was having trouble with my goggles (grrr), so I didn't meet my goal today. Maybe Friday.
