Good morning BL,
Thank you Nancy. I worked so hard. I think I would have been super disappointed not to have lost something. I think it helped that I weighed in early in the morning. I am going to enjoy it as the evening scale is not as kind.
Yesterday was indeed gorgeous. I walked in the park and there was a bicycle race, beautiful and the speed.
Today, I am super restless.

Good Morning!!
Friday I slept a little later so did not post as I wanted to get a walk in before work.
I added 7.54 miles Thurs- Sun. Sat and Sun were shorter walks due to it being hotter. I should have done a WATP but was not in the mood for it.
The Birthday party was very nice. Thankfully they have a very large finished basement so everyone could stay cool. I went outside several times to actually warm up, lol.
Claudette: Congrats on being the BL of the week.
Nancy: Congrats on your loss last week. You are really doing well.
Andrew: You are doing great. You will be to goal soon.
Brenda: Congrats on your loss last week. Sorry about the pre-diabetes but it can be reversed. Watching carbs and concentrated sweets will help. If you are a bread and pasta eater switch to whole wheat and whole grain products. Make sure you 25-30 grams of fiber each day. When looking at a plate. 1/2 of it should be filled with non-starchy vegetables. 25& with a lean protein source, and 25% with a healthy carb brown rice, quinoa, etc.

Thanks for all the congrats. The weekend was totally down hill. I ate so much cake, my sugar levels must be way up.
Kelly thanks for the pre-diabetes tips, I have been using that approach and it seems to be helping.

Yesterday I added 2.24 miles.
Looking forward to my long weekend.
Plan to help my great niece who is moving on Friday.
Saturday we have a graduation party for one of nieces.
Not sure what the remainder days will bring. Maybe a day trip.

Hello, Kelly, sounds like a great weekend. Good luck with moving your niece, I hope the weather isn't too hot. I just took a walk 1.5miles (LOL), I was listening to a meeting and someone posted if they didn't take their walk right after the meeting they wouldn't go. That's me!! I haven't walked since 6.09. It felt good to get out there before the heat gets to bad. Happy Tuesday Stay cool everyone

Good Morning!!
I walked 2 miles Tuesday morning and yesterday morning I walked 3.01 miles and added another mile with some mowing. All done before it got too hot.
We went and got some Mexican for lunch. I read some and then watched a movie. Relaxing afternoon.
Then we went to Bible study.
I work today then I am off til nest Thursday.
Nancy: Good job on your walk. We are having a heat wave this week. The day starts in the mid 60s and has been getting to the 90s.

Hello, We had quite the storm last night. Wind, thunder, lightning, rain!! It cooled the house off. We took a drive up to the beach; it was 102 degrees. Had a late lunch of Mexican food, delicious. So I combined lunch/dinner!! I was stuffed, counted points as best as I could. Another hot day today, but I'm staying home. Target had books buy one get one 1/2 off so I added 4 more books (lol). I checked the library to see what I could get there & the ones I couldn't I bought!! Virtual mtg, tracking, 40oz water. Happy Friday
