TUESDAY!
CAIT--thanks for the webinar info, and good job on your HHs. I hope you can take it easy after the intense work day.
I swam laps today, and I think my stamina is slowly improving! I think my time today would have been a little faster, but I lost my goggles at one point and had to walk around to find them. Sheesh! I stretched, too.

Yesterday Fri I did all 6 of my main HHs, ate in my 💚 zone of pts. I had 3 meals, 0 snack, used 22 pts. We walked 2.2 mi before breakfast. My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) for Thurs & Fri: - Do at least 10 mins of PT/ST: N N - Avoid salted snacks: 💚💚 - No “seconds” with snack: 💚💚 - No eating out of a container: 💚💚 - Limit phone after 9 pm: 💚💚 - Evening: “Snack on Inspo”; Read prayers, quotes, whys and goals: N💚 - FFFE (Food-Free Fasting Evenings): 💚💚 - JGTB (Just Go To Bed) around 10 - 11 pm: 💚💚 Yesterday I listened to part of one speaker on the online “Kick Sugar Summit” while prepping breakfast. Thurs and Fri were long work days. Yesterday I didn’t get home until after 6 pm. This am I attended my weekly virtual WW workshop. The topic was “Carbs” and how to include them in a weight loss program and a healthy lifestyle. I liked that they focused on “All carbs are not created equal,” and reflecting on how foods make us feel, not just in the moment, but later, and the next day. It’s also a major topic in the “Kick Sugar Summit.” The “deprivation makes you want more” theory came up, but there’s not consensus on that. My own experience is that the less I eat of added sugar and ultra processed foods, the better I feel, and the less I want to eat them. For me, it’s an addiction response when I eat them, although I’ve learned I can have a small amount occasionally as part of a meal, just not a lot, and not as a snack. www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/say-yes-to-carbswww.weightwatchers.com/us/blog/food/faqs-carbsBe well, and take care, for ourselves and for each other. I’ve been listening to speakers on the free “Kick Sugar Summit.” www.kicksugarsummit.comwww.kicksugarsummit.com/daily-speakersIf you have time, I think today’s day 6 speaker Sherianna Boyle is good. "Working with Emotions to Successfully Let Go of Sugar.” She doesn't focus on sugar, but on processing and detoxing emotions, to change reactive behavior like reaching for food to deal with emotions - to enable us to listen to Spirit, or our “higher selves” and follow that direction. It’s a mindfulness and spiritual based approach. I especially liked this quote: “That inner guidance piece is important. If we’re reaching for something out of impulse, we’re overriding that. We’re not listening. A big part of asking Spirit is asking, processing your emotions, but also listening. Without judgment.” Each day’s speakers are streaming until the next morning at 9 am ET.

Good Morning!!
I added 6.90 miles Fri-Sun. Some WATP, outdoor walking, and yesterday lots of steps while sitting up for the Church Fall Festival.
Saturday was a day of errands and laundry.
Sunday went to Church and a Aldi run. Made some pumpkin Snickerdoodles for the Church Fall Festival. I went early to help set up and prepare some of the sides for toppings for the hot dogs and sausages. It was pot-luck. Everyone brought a salad, entree, side or desert. It was from 5-8. They had chili cook-off and a bake-off. Music, candy-scramble for the kids, corn-hole, and a tractor that pulls little carts that the kids can ride in. I only stayed til a little after 6 as I was tired.
Cait: Good job on your good days. Enjoy your time with family.
Carol: Good job on your water classes, walking, and stretching. Have fun on your trip.
Waving to all!! Happy Walking!!
