Good morning, I'll probably be busy most of the day (hear that good intention) so thought I would get us going. Thanks for all the laughs regarding Leia and daycare yesterday...I'm glad I have my sense of humor most days because it was hard not to get a little huffy (no, I didn't post a Yelp review...) We didn't get too much done yesterday, I was deplete after my grocery store(s) and J had a wedding; so the *plan* is to get some unpacking done today. Of course, I also need to get my chili (thanks pbnj ) in the crock-pot and we have a 7:00 (so boring!) dinner reservation; so we'll see. I did stay up to the end of the Orange Bowl last night, no joy for doordie50 or amy , but quite a game. Here's a tip of the hat to lmenglish ! I want to have some quiet this AM, I don't really set resolutions, but I definitely have some hopes and dreams for the new year. Have a good day!

Good morning. It was really windy yesterday, at times I could barely see across the yard because of blowing and drifting snow. My driveway is filled in again so I'll need my neighbor to come dig me out - again. There's not nearly as much wind today and I'm hoping that tomorrow will be nice enough for my grandson and son to come out so we can finally have our Christmas. There are presents to be opened and food to eat.
I finally got my laundry done yesterday. I was beginning to run out of warm pajamas. Today on my schedule is a better planned exercise routine and some house cleaning.

2016 ends--it was filled with so many good and bad things. I need to reflect on it a little. Among the very good things is the fact that in 2016 I lost 45 lbs and got back to Lifetime. 2017 will need to be my year to learn 'how to maintain'!! Began working on killing my sugar cravings yesterday. NO cookies! Yeah!(Cookies are still in my house for family and guests, unfortunately !!) Even though I went over my point total because I was still HUNGRY, I avoided the sugary stuff. Baby steps! (where are those little emoji's? ksbruns) I'm going to start putting away some of my Christmas decorations--will take the next 3 days probably. Hope everyone has a great New Year's Eve!!

Pat, check System Preferences/Keyboard/ Check *Show keyboard and emoji viewers in menu bar*. The shortcut for accessing them quickly is control/command/space bar. And I have a question for you...do you add the coleslaw the entire time in the crockpot or near the end (feeling brave for 2017) SUPER congrats on the cookies...I wouldn't worry about going over my points at all (within reason, LOL, make sure you are satisfied.) I can hardly bear to put my mantle away...it's the only thing in the apt that looks nice!

Good morning.
I've colored my hair, showered, first load of laundry in, change sheets on bed...at least I'll be clean for the new year 🤗
Have some things to work on for the new year. Will have a meeting with myself tonight to discuss.
Have a good one all but I'll BBL to check in again.

ksbruns The cole slaw goes in the crockpot with everything else. You want it to get a little "mushy" not 'crunchy' so cooking all day with the other ingredients is good. My friend does hers in a pot on the stove but you have to monitor it and stir a lot. I just let the crockpot do the work. Be sure to taste at the end. If you like it spicier--add chili powder. 👣👣👣👍

To all my friends, thank you for being there through yet another year and to ring in a new one. For those trying to get to goal, just keep going, this is your year. For those maintaining, go you! No matter where you are on your journey I just want to thank you for letting us all be a part of it. You guys are always there to keep me laughing and smacking me when I need it. Good morning! Woke up to a light rain but temps aren't too bad. Suppose to be in the 60s today.
Just back from my last walk at the mall for this year! I estimated I walked over 650 miles there. I ordered a new pair of New Balance walking shoes to start the new year but they won't arrive until the end of next week.
I'm going through old files today to get ready for 2017. I'm feeling positive about making it a good year. I don't think there will be any changes at WW so I'm hoping they continue to work on their technology. My goal for 2017 is to maintain my lifetime status so that means I'll need to track, measure, exercise and stay OP! I'm writing out my goal here to affirm my intentions!
Hope everyone has a great last day of the year. Happy New Year to us all!

Joining those taking quiet time this morning to reflect and plan. My sister from CA is flying home this afternoon and we're having brunch together one more time. Need to make a plan for family dinner tonight along with a movie to bring in the new year. Definitely think a pot of chili will be on the menu for tomorrow. Thanks for all the ideas everyone. Have a wonderful New Year's Eve and keep smiling.

Sounds like Miss Clairol is going to be busy, if not today, very soon.
Deb, not really energy here, just determination to get this stuff done so I can have a quiet day & a half. I'm already contemplating what time I'll take my nap this afternoon 😴
